Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 424: Chapter 422: Gu Xi’s Choice of Reward (168/188)

”That’s necessary!”

”Absolutely, a big reward is a must!”

”I agree too!”

Just as the president finished speaking, the senior members present began talking amongst themselves.

They were different from the regular members outside; they all knew how much funding there would be.

Meanwhile, they also understood that this funding was entirely earned back by Gu Xi alone.

If they don’t give Gu Xi a reasonable reward, Gu Xi wouldn’t stay in the Chaoyang Radiance Guild for too long; there are plenty of guilds outside eager to snatch people.

”So Gu Xi, if there’s anything you want, just say it. The top guild members are all here; as long as you speak up, anything that can be provided, we can offer.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi only then realized that the president had gathered everyone here for this reason.

Is this to prevent dissatisfaction with the reward given to Gu Xi, so he’s directly allowed to voice his opinion?

Gu Xi also realized that it seems the guild received enough from this time.

Gu Xi thought for a moment and already had an idea in mind.

”I wanted a one to six complete package right now, and before reaching Level 5, I want to learn the Leadership Skill; no, actually, I want to learn up to the Death Decree. The guild also needs to help with part of the skill leveling, and additionally, another piece of Purple Armor.”

Gu Xi was reporting rather high, but as he looked at the people in front of him, he noticed they didn’t show any difficulty on their faces.

”One to six may not be possible. Buildings from one to five I can arrange; we only have two Dark Temples within the Death Knight Corps, one is where players promote, and the other is where three Death Knight teams gather.

No matter which one we give you, it’s impossible.

Of course, maybe within several families, there might be other temples, but you’ll have to negotiate with them.”

The president promptly explained the situation.

Gu Xi wasn’t surprised that there were Dark Temples in the guild.

But he was unaware of temples within other families.

Gu Xi couldn’t help but turn his gaze towards the clan leaders of those few families.

There were three families here, namely the Poisoned Witch Demon Liu Family, Gu Xi knew Liu Kai from their family.

The Divine Blood Hammer Song Family, Gu Xi knew Song Yumo from their family.

And there was the Li Family of the Cold Wind, Gu Xi hadn’t had much contact with them.

Among these three, the Liu Family followed a pure undead mage path; the other two families had Death Knights, but when Gu Xi looked towards them, they showed no reaction.

Seeing such a situation, the president could only say, ”It seems the temple is not feasible; let’s do this, I’ll give you two sets of one to five, guaranteed not to repeat, how about this?”

”Not repeating? Are they still undead element?”

Gu Xi couldn’t help but ask.

”Of course, if they’re not undead element, I don’t even want them.” The president said proudly, ”You’re young, and don’t know the value of the undead; the number of races within the undead side is quite a lot. As long as it’s a creature, once it’s dead, it will form an undead.

Every kind of creature, its final transformation will cause a change in the undead race.”

Listening to these words, Gu Xi thought for a moment, then nodded to agree with the president’s proposal.

Seeing Gu Xi agree to the proposal, the clan leaders of the three families began to show a more favorable expression.

Next, regarding Gu Xi’s learning matters, that’s the difficult part.

If it were about learning other spells, there were plenty within the guild who could teach Gu Xi.

But the Leadership Skill, and learning up to the Death Decree, these people themselves don’t know, so how could they teach Gu Xi?

The president helplessly said, ”I’m curious why you insist on learning up to the Death Decree.”

Gu Xi naturally couldn’t say that this was during a conversation with Eldest Princess Anna while waiting for the right moment to return, as per her suggestion.

Back then, Eldest Princess Anna said, ”You’re not Level 5 yet; nothing is settled. If possible, aim for the Death Decree.”

After hearing this sentence, Gu Xi thought for a long time before recalling what the Death Decree was all about.

It’s a branch skill under the Leadership Skill.

To master the Death Decree, first, you must be an Undead Mage.

Then, you need to learn the Leadership Skill, along with the three branch skills under Leadership: Recruitment Skill, Diplomacy Skill, and Financial Skill. Gu Xi needs to master Recruitment Skill and Diplomacy Skill.

Only then can he learn to master the Death Decree.

The whole process is quite difficult and complicated, but this Death Decree is indeed a nice skill, definitely worth learning.

Because the Death Decree can convert all surrendered neutral creatures that join the Undead Mage Corps automatically according to troop type level and upgrade status into corresponding undead creatures.

You could say having the Death Decree means having a guarantee; all surrendered neutral creatures converting will become corresponding undead.

The benefits of this, any undead mage would understand.

Yet despite understanding, very few reach this point.

The biggest reason here is the difficulty of learning the Leadership Skill.

The basic skill of undead mages is the Soul Summoning Skill.

While the Leadership Skill is the basic skill on the human knight’s side.

Very few undead mages learn it, even the Death Knights scarcely learn such a skill.

Unless someone, either fortunate or unfortunate, accidentally encounters it, there’s really nobody specializing in learning this skill.

Because understanding the difficulty of learning the Death Decree, Gu Xi didn’t mention Eldest Princess Anna’s words.

Instead, seriously stated, ”Got a matching building that requires the Death Decree for activation.”

Everyone present felt speechless after hearing this from Gu Xi.

This was a typical case of cooking a pot of dumplings for a bit of vinegar.

Yet you couldn’t deny this situation.

The request Gu Xi made wasn’t overly difficult.

After all, solutions tend to be more than challenges, and with so many people, they could surely come up with some solutions.

At this moment, a vice president stood up and said, ”I’ve got an entry ticket to the Mysterious Academy here. In the Mysterious Academy, you can learn four types of basic skills. This is the only chance for an undead mage to learn Leadership Skill.

Although it’s a matter of probability, whether you can learn it will depend on if you can enter the corresponding academy.

The opportunity is a one-time deal; I don’t have another ticket if you miss it.”

”If you learn the Leadership Skill, then I have a solution.” At this time, the Song Family’s clan leader stood up saying, ”I have several Advanced Skill Stones here, as Leadership Skill also means three branch skills.

I can give you three advanced skill stones at most, promoting you randomly.

By this point, the Death Decree is nearly there.”

”If that doesn’t work, I still have three and two-tenths of a golden cake, it’s used to increase luck. Before opening a treasure chest, taking a bite can significantly enhance your luck to discover good things.”
