Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 428: Chapter 426: Return to Yalidu City Again

”Don’t look at me like that. I’m still young, still in my middle age. Once you surpass Level 10, you’ll understand that the greatest advantage of being an Undead Mage is immortality.”

Looking at Gu Xi’s expression, the guild leader said with some helplessness.

Actually, these days, as long as you don’t die during the game’s pioneering, most players can live relatively long.

Players beyond Level 5 experience changes in their life span, easily living over two hundred years.

It’s even more so for Undead Mages; sometimes a Level 4 Undead Mage, as long as they aren’t reckless, can easily live over three hundred years.

A guild leader like ours, who is beyond Level 10 as an Undead Mage, even if his path has deviated, his life span is surely long enough.

This is precisely why the guild leader has the confidence to manage a team.

After joking with Gu Xi, the guild leader left on his own.

As for everything from this time, it was all handed over to Gu Xi. How to use these things is up to Gu Xi now.

Gu Xi, at this moment, couldn’t bother with anything else. He planned to go to Yalidu City, put down what he had obtained, and then deliver the Purple Armor to Eldest Princess Anna.

Moreover, he intended to strengthen the current Yalidu City and organize his troops.

Once everything is taken care of, he would look back to see if there’s a chance to learn Leadership Skill.

This is the key for Gu Xi coming up.

If Gu Xi learns Leadership Skill, he can specialize in training skills and prepare for the impact on Level 5.

If he doesn’t learn it, then Gu Xi still needs to think of a way to find a place where he can learn Leadership Skill.

In that case, his time to reach Level 5 would be delayed.

That wouldn’t be good news, as Gu Xi hopes to reach Level 5 quickly to see a broader world.

However, before entering Yalidu City, Gu Xi must request a leave of absence. After all, this time away, he doesn’t know how many days it will take to handle everything. If something happens and they can’t find Gu Xi, it would be troublesome.

Therefore, every time Gu Xi plans to go to Yalidu City, he must report to someone in the guild.

After reporting, he can leave on his own.

Gu Xi doesn’t really know which Undead Mage Corps he’s part of, nor does he have a superior to oversee him. In Chaoyang Radiance Guild, he’s relatively free.

So, Gu Xi quickly ran to the registration point in front of the Teleportation Plaza to report his whereabouts, then ran to the open space specially marked for his access to Yalidu City and entered Yalidu City.

Not long after Gu Xi entered Yalidu City, the vice-captain of the Sun Mage Corps also walked out from the administrative building.

The guild leader had spoken to him alone; Gu Xi would be joining the Sun Mage Corps next, following them on missions.

So, the vice-captain came out intending to talk with Gu Xi, to better assign tasks based on Gu Xi’s abilities later.

He just didn’t expect he would be a step too late.

By the time he came out looking for Gu Xi, Gu Xi had already entered Yalidu City.

Although Yalidu City belongs to Gu Xi’s own territory, the one assisting with the registration still treated him as if entering a game.

Even if the Sun Mage Corps’ vice-captain came over, he just replied,

”The person you’re looking for has already entered the game. Unless there’s a Level 1 alert, he can’t be called out.”

The vice-captain of the Sun Mage Corps didn’t understand the situation here, thinking it was genuine.

So he could only say, ”Then, when he returns, let him come find me. I won’t be leaving the guild for a long while. Direct him to our Sun Mage Corps headquarters.”

After saying this, the vice-captain turned and left.

The recorder merely noted it down and did not rush to inform Gu Xi.

In their view, Gu Xi would come out eventually, and mentioning it later would suffice; there was no need to notify him specifically.

As a result, Gu Xi ended up missing out on the opportunity to join the Sun Mage Corps.

Gu Xi, unaware of all this, was now handing over the Desunap to Eldest Princess Anna.

Looking at the three-headed flail in front of her, Eldest Princess Anna’s face showed helplessness.

”I was a Priest before, correct, but I really can’t use flails. Moreover, for normal combat, Priests use nail head hammers or square-headed hammers like single-handed hammers; I’m really not used to this.”

Gu Xi could only shrug after hearing this; he hadn’t expected such a result.

However, things like flails are not like swords that can be used after a day or two of practice. A flail is somewhat like nunchucks, and if mishandled, it can strike oneself.

Eldest Princess Anna couldn’t use it herself, so of course, she wouldn’t want to use this equipment, as she didn’t have time to learn flail tactics anew.

”Well, forget it. For now, just store it away and see if anyone else can use it in the future.”

Gu Xi faced with this situation could only shake his head, thinking, if not, he could find obscure players in the guild to trade for other good items.

Players over Level 5 might not care, but those below might be thrilled to get a piece of Purple Armor.

After putting down the Desunap, Gu Xi relayed what he gained from the guild.

Particularly, the plan concerning Leadership Skill, which Gu Xi explained in detail to Eldest Princess Anna.

Eldest Princess Anna, after listening, thought carefully, ”The plan works; its feasibility is quite high. Although forced learning won’t grant true mastery and the foundation may be weak, reaching the Death Decree is sufficient.”

”I estimate it will take around thirty days to complete all this. After that, I have a mission for you.”

Gu Xi glanced at Eldest Princess Anna, not hesitating much, ”Okay!”

After agreeing to Eldest Princess Anna’s request, Gu Xi set out to make preparations; he needed to reorganize his troops. Luna hadn’t returned, so he couldn’t yet integrate the two Land Titles into Yalidu City.

But rearranging troops was feasible.

This time, from the White Training Grand Ceremony, Gu Xi acquired quite a few troops, but the forces were somewhat scattered, with varied levels.

Gu Xi needed to handle this military force.

Additionally, he needed to remove non-Undead, easily transformable troops out of Yalidu City ahead of time.

Particularly his Red Dragons, although six had fallen, Gu Xi wasn’t willing to let the rest all become Bone Dragons.

So these Red Dragons must be sent to Yaliduvi Tower. Once there’s a new Satellite City, the Red Dragons will be positioned there.

At least, for now, the Red Dragons shouldn’t be affected by Blood Maple.

At this moment, news came from the Magic Plant District, Luna had arrived at Yalidu City.
