Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

First, before we even discussed it, we had already settled on a “consensus,” which was that not a single one of these fellows should think about returning!

Even if they did return, they would not be intact.

As for that Witch’s Contract signing proposed by the Holy Angel?

What a joke.

A contract was merely another method of execution.

What better solution was there than them being dead?

It was just that before they died, they could be utilized once more.

After all, right now the Witch Academy was not yet suited to completely fall out with the other Transcendent academies.

Even though the Witch Academy had a reason on the surface to attribute everything to a Dream Calamity and claim it was unrelated to the witches... so-called rules were built upon strength, interests, and deterrence.

Therefore... these people could not be allowed to completely flip the table.

The best situation was to bicker with each other back and forth.

And what kind of method was suitable for this?

That was to claim that the life consciousness of these fellows was lost within the Primal Dream State, while the witches proactively and pioneeringly proposed a cooperative exploration of the Primal Dream State, aiming to find and rescue those Transcendents lost in this Dream Calamity.

After all, the incident had already occurred.

If the witches proposed a plan and you didn’t accept it, that was your problem, indicating you were intentionally looking for trouble.

With so many Transcendents, you wouldn’t want to find them back?

As long as one academy relented, the other academies would have to follow suit.

Otherwise, an academy not taking responsibility for the lives of its Transcendent mentors... that would be a very serious crisis of trust!

Moreover, the Witch Academy could also cooperate by having a few witches go “missing” and then slowly find them back.

If they were to question why most of those found back were witches!

Then the Witch Academy could take the opportunity to trigger the Great Project of the Soul theory of the Fourth Interpretation of Life in the Main World.

Don’t look at this as if we were helping others complete the sublimation of their life essence for free; looking at the big picture, this was a game on the level of the entire Void races.

The Great Project of the Soul belonged to the very forefront of the Void where the witches walked.

As the originators of the Fourth Interpretation of Life, this advantage was absolutely incomparable.

As the saying goes, what is free is the most expensive.

When the vast majority of races in the Void joined the soul essence group, then the rhythm of all this would be dominated by the witch race.

Why was it that the soul interpretation had been stirring in the Void for so long, yet the vast majority of Transcendent races remained “indifferent” to it?

At least on the surface, it was so.

Behind this counter-intuitive behavior, there must be an even deeper layer of gaming.

Therefore... now that the Witch Academy had laid out such an straightforward plot, if you chose to unite to rescue those Transcendent consciousnesses within the Primal Dream State, then you stepped into the witches’ rhythm.

If you chose not to go... then they would have to completely lose these dozen or so Transcendent experts!

Although in essence they were all “dead,” they had no way to prove this claim themselves.

Therefore, in name, they had to go and rescue them.

If they didn’t go, the chain reaction brought by this would not be something they could control.

If this Transcendent still had good friends, or a wife, partner, or the like, then after the Witch Academy operated things for a bit, they could even achieve secretly turning them against their own side.

Of course... these things were only a possibility.

The Witch Academy naturally didn’t have to do this, but they had to guard against the Witch Academy doing so.

This was naturally not something the Academy Head and the others had planned in advance.

After all, before that, we didn’t even know the Dream Calamity would be so terrifying, and I happened to master such great power.

So as far as the present was concerned, the Academy Head was actually always dedicated to maintaining the relatively peaceful general environment of the Main World.

Including this cooperative exploration of the Primal Dream State, it was actually just stalling for time and diverting contradictions and attention.

After all, for the witches, the most important “Umbilicus Mundi” had not yet been completely mastered.

And the plan to locate the Umbilicus Mundi through the Destiny Gazing Technique was still in progress.

Currently, it seemed to be a long way off.

The Main World had already been stable for so long; the witches didn’t mind staying dormant for a while longer.

The matters were roughly settled like this first.

And more importantly... we discussed like this without avoiding those Transcendents at all, plotting these things right to their faces.

But those Transcendents could not laugh.

Because this also represented that, from the very beginning, the witches were not afraid of them leaking this matter out.

Watching their expressions turn from terror to despair, and finally to the numbness of being unable to live yet unable to die, was truly a unique sight to behold.

Even though they seemingly had never done anything to wrong me, it didn’t matter.

Had I not similarly never done anything to wrong them?

But they still viewed me as a thorn in their side.

Innocence was pale and laughable in the face of stances.

“Little Han, are you certain that kind of technique can work against Transcendents?”

Regarding this, Academy Head Mei inquired of me once more.

And the technique Mei Linde inquired about was naturally the reverse application of “Wisdom Bestowal,” which was “Wisdom Deprival.”

There was no method more convenient than making them become idiotic and foolish.

This way, it both ensured they were still alive and ensured they were as worthless as if they were dead.

“I’m not sure but this is a stripping technique targeted at the essence of life essence. I have never forcibly used this ability on a Transcendent before.”

I spoke very bluntly regarding this.

“Then let us watch. If it really doesn’t work, then we will activate the original plan.”

Mei Linde looked at me, speaking with a somewhat complex gaze.

The current Little Han was gradually escaping her cognition in her eyes.

Looking back at the past, since she became a Transcendent Witch, she had always deeply agreed with one viewpoint, which was that “non-Transcendents can never kill Transcendents.”

Precisely because of such a massive chasm and the leap in class, the rank of “Transcendent” was the only recognized rank division within the Void.

Even the so-called “Saint Stage” was merely a human-defined rank.

But look at the current Little Han.

She hadn’t even advanced to Transcendent yet, yet she possessed means that crushed Transcendents—that kind of “Dream Domain” that had never been heard of before.

Now, if this “Wisdom Deprival technique” could succeed experimentally upon the life essence of Transcendents, then... Little Han would have mastered two methods equivalent to death for Transcendents before even advancing to Transcendent!

Add to that Little Han’s innate soul and her having embarked on the Great Project of the Soul, using the soul blessing “Soul Dream State” of the Great Project of the Soul, she could evade lethal strikes from Transcendents.

From the perspective of “combat power,” Little Han was already comparable to... no, one could even say she crushed average Transcendents!

Only, as for what Academy Head Mei Linde was thinking at this moment, I was naturally unclear.

However, even if I knew, I would merely give a smile and not care too much, because I knew very well that I deserved all of this.

Or rather, only in this way could I have a bit of a sense of security in this chaotic world.

My figure was no longer as large as before.

That previous posture, aside from appearing giant, essentially had no effect.

It was merely a form of presentation for my external manifestation by my domain order, and could only be done within the Primal Dream State.

In reality, I would be as large as I should be.

When I walked up to a Wizard, I looked at him, seemingly expecting what kind of reaction he would have.

“Go ahead... do it... in the end I didn’t expect to fall into your hands.”

This Wizard had an indescribable mockery upon his face, but it was mostly self-mockery.

Yet the gaze with which he looked at me still held a deep wariness.

Most of the Transcendents among them recognized me, but they could not imagine why a little witch who wasn’t even a Transcendent would master such terrifying means!

They should have pulled up the roots and eliminated the cause at the very beginning!

Their previous methods were still not ruthless enough!

But unfortunately, they could no longer transmit this information out.

“I’m waiting for your last words. Is that all? It would be good to curse me a few times; don’t be polite.”

As my words were spoken, the other party fell silent.

“Truly boring.”

I gave a light snort and ignored him.

After all, I wasn’t the kind of person who liked looking for abuse.

Furthermore, what I was doing right now was still an experiment.

Even I wasn’t clear if I could still succeed with Wisdom Deprival in the face of Transcendent-level resistance.

Previously, my experiments were all conducted on mutated beasts and such that could not break free from my dominance, as well as those ordinary people of the Hawthorne Family.

But a technique targeted at the life essence would inevitably be resisted by a high life tier.

And after the formal experiment, the development of the experiment was indeed as I had expected.

Under circumstances where the consciousness of resistance was extremely strong, trying to perform Wisdom Deprival on them was very difficult!

But... I gradually performed another technique, “Wisdom Wither,” on them... which they found somewhat difficult to resist.

So... in terms of experimental results, the reverse application of Wisdom Bestowal was undoubtedly a success.

After all, succeeding halfway is also called success, isn’t it?

Wisdom Wither... this special technique was like a curse, and moreover a means born as a derivative technique of a Grand Spellbook.

Even if the other party wanted to remedy it, only someone with very deep accomplishments regarding the life essence could possibly alleviate it.

Furthermore... only a power of the same level as a Grand Spellbook could counteract the permanent effects of a Grand Spellbook.

Destroying is always much simpler than reshaping.

This was basically equivalent to being unsolvable.

Moreover, according to my estimation, if someone truly had such heritage and was cured, the memory damage and consciousness loss caused by Wisdom Wither, as well as a series of complications, would be very hard to repair.

After all... this was damage targeted at the life essence!

“A mere little witch, who gave you the means to act against a Transcendent... wanting to strip my wisdom with just this kind of method? Do you understand what the concept of wisdom even is!”

“The wisdom of a Wizard is not something you can take away! Delusional fellow...”

“……”

“I admit you indeed have some means within this dream state, but what is a dream? It’s nothing more than a daydream. You are only acting tough within here. In the entire Void, there is no non-Transcendent who can achieve killing a true Transcendent! Even a genius like you won’t work! Even if I tied my own hands and let you try, you couldn’t kill me! It would be better to give me a quick end......”

The Wizard before me was constantly outputting his cognition at me, but he didn’t realize that compared to before, he was saying much more.

He had already gradually lost the restriction over his own ability to express himself, blurring the difference between the Primal Dream State and dreaming.

And with the passage of time, he would lose even more things.

He would gradually lose control over his language ability, his word order would begin to be confused, his logical ability would gradually collapse, and the things he said would turn from attacks into illogical emotional venting.

Finally reaching the point where his emotions went out of control... breaking into a torrent of abuse upon seeing me......

Such a process was presented bit by bit before everyone’s eyes, making one’s spine involuntarily turn cold.

Furthermore, I wasn’t just experimenting on them; I was continuously optimizing during the experimental process... after all, these were Transcendent-level experimental subjects!

For me, they were existences that could be encountered but not sought.

As the words the person I was experimenting on vented at me became increasingly unbearable to hear, in the next moment, the language he spoke was distorted under the order within the Primal Dream State to the point that it couldn’t be heard clearly.

Even the sound of their speech propagating was severely attenuated within the Primal Dream State.

Though they seemingly were less than ten meters away, their voices were like the humming of mosquitoes and flies.

Time in the Primal Dream State passed very quickly.

For some, a day felt like a year, while perhaps some witches felt that only a moment had passed.

“Academy Head, how about I send you all back to reality first? These people have been processed well enough, but I cannot return to reality yet.”

“Why?”

Mei Linde asked instinctively.

“I still need to collect some other data on the effects of Wisdom Wither. Additionally... Big Sis Mei, you are also aware that I am currently carrying the Fool’s Village dream. My placement of those Fool’s Dreams also needs to be within the Primal Dream State. Oh... right, there are several witch sisters in Fool’s Village. They have stayed in the Primal Dream State for a bit too long; I’m afraid some problems will appear in their spirits.”

“Fine, you must pay attention to your own safety first, Little Han...”

Mei Linde pondered for a few seconds and subsequently nodded in agreement.

“Then Little Han... what do you intend for your physical body in reality? Do you need us to bring it back to the Witch Academy, or should it be placed in the Expansion Realm?”

“Place it in the Expansion Realm. That would be more convenient.”

“Then it’s a deal. Let us Academy Heads settle the things that happen next.”

“Yeah! When those fellows come looking for trouble, I’ll be the first to rush out and settle them for you!”

Academy Head Bev Ailana also chimed in from the side.

“Bev, that’s enough. You’d better not mess up the upcoming matters by taking action.”

Mei Linde gave Bev Ailana another reminder.

After personally seeing off the Academy Head, Big Sis Bai, and the others, what remained here... was my home field!

After all, the Academy Head and the others had their home field outside, where they would settle the aftershocks generated by this incident.

After I was left as the only witch here, four figures appeared behind me.

They were precisely the three little Fool’s Dreams, and the former Village Chief of Fool’s Village, Fool’s Star.

“Is this... the Primal Dream State outside Fool’s Village?”

As a Fool’s Dream who had never set foot outside Fool’s Village, this was Fool’s Star’s first time coming to the outside world.

Once upon a time, she had thought her first time setting foot in the Primal Dream State outside Fool’s Village would be the final moment of her protecting her companions and sisters.

But now... the figure before her had completely rewritten her... and all of their Fool’s Dream destinies.
