Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Top of the Sky Abyss.

This was the place where a large gash had been cut into the sky of the Expansion Realm, the spatial rift that connected the Expansion Realm with the Horaso Swamp in the Core Realm.

The Witch Academy did not intend to manage this place; regardless, it had no impact on the Expansion Realm.

The name “Top of the Sky Abyss” was given to it by the Elves.

Since it was a very iconic region and the Witches seemingly had no thoughts on naming it, the Elves exercised their characteristic traits and gave it a fairly decent and appropriate name.

After these few days of organization, the Witch Academy’s observation stations here were mostly sorted out.

Only a few witches remained stationed in the Expansion Realm, keeping a constant watch on the conditions of the Primal Dream State.

Those Transcendents who originally wanted to come over and cause trouble had all left in a dejected manner, because the witch leading the group stationed here was Bev Ailana!

That Witch Academy Head who loved to seek out trouble and fights; even in the restoration of the Small World for this Expansion Realm, this Academy Head had contributed quite a bit.

Who would want to provoke a Transcendent Witch who enjoyed wandering through the Void for no reason?

And no matter what was said, she was still an Academy Head!

Although she was somewhat out of tune and very flighty, the fact that her strength could stabilize her position proved many things.

As for Mei Linde… she still needed to handle the affairs of the academy, though she was similarly keeping a constant eye on the situation in the Expansion Realm.

She didn’t have much time to waste in the Expansion Realm continuously; naturally, her time to appear would be the critical moment.

After the presence in the Expansion Realm was replaced by Bev Ailana, the Expansion Realm suddenly became “quiet.”

Although other academies would question: since the Witch Academy had already withdrawn from the exploration of the Expansion Realm’s Primal Dream State, why leave behind an Academy Head who was clearly not an Academic Witch?

However, the response given by the Witch Academy corrected their statement.

The Witch Academy had never withdrawn from the exploration of the Expansion Realm’s Primal Dream State, but was instead temporarily avoiding unnecessary risks, and reiterated the horror of the Dream Calamity.

As for why an Academy Head was still stationed here… that was naturally because since its restoration, the Expansion Realm had been the Witches’ territory.

The Witch Academy naturally needed to have a witch of sufficient weight to guard the safety of the Expansion Realm at all times and keep it from being violated.

After all, the Expansion Realm did not have the Great Weakening Spell suppressing them.

If they had ill intentions and wanted to destroy the Expansion Realm, it would be as easy as turning a hand!

Just like when they collectively invaded the Main World back then.

In this way, the Witch Academy and the other academies bickered back and forth.

But no one dared to take action.

And their ideas of testing also completely vanished, because the only person they could test was Bev Ailana.

But this fellow was simply simple-minded, a fool who knew nothing!

Therefore, there was naturally no value in testing her.

At least in the eyes of those Transcendent scholars, it was so.

They guessed that this Academy Head, Bev Ailana, didn’t even know the Witch Academy’s plan.

A dignified Academy Head was actually being utilized by the witches in such a manner… but the key was that Bev Ailana truly didn’t care!

That was the part that drove them crazy.

After all, Bev Ailana wasn’t truly stupid; she just wasn’t a scholar and knew nothing about professional matters.

Furthermore, another point that made them feel somewhat uneasy was… Bev Ailana and Cheryl actually got along very well!

One was an Academy Head, and the other was a terrifying Anti-Witch.

For these two fellows to actually be able to chat and get along with talk and laughter during their time together was truly a headache to behold.

“Don’t you say it. That child, Little Han, when I first met her in that Small World, I felt she was the kind of Lesser Witch who could do big things……”

Bev Ailana spoke eloquently to Cheryl.

Although she hadn’t had much contact with Little Han recently, it still didn’t dampen the relationship between the two sides.

Bev Ailana remembered very clearly; regarding Little Han’s Grand Spellbook, she could be considered to have contributed a bit!

She felt she could remember this for a lifetime!

The nights in the Expansion Realm had exceptionally clean skies.

The sky obscured by the Primal Dream State flickered with dreamlike stars.

The light from the flickering campfire reflected on the faces of several witches.

They seemed as if they would never lack topics to talk about, chatting and laughing there.

Some food brought along was roasted over the campfire; no matter how coarse the food was, it became extremely delicious at this time.

“Speaking of which, which night is this today?”

“You aren’t in the Primal Dream State. You’ve only been here for a few days. Is it because you’re too bored from a lack of fun?”

“Indeed.”

After all, for witches who didn’t sleep or rest for long periods, they didn’t like using day and night as a way to keep time.

“I heard you all say there will be a super-large-scale Primal Dream State calamity next. Why haven’t I seen it yet?”

Bev Ailana said with some sentiment.

She was precisely that typical type who wished for the world to be in chaos.

Words like these had actually been said by Bev Ailana quite a few times, but no one could give a specific and accurate piece of information.

“You’ll have to ask Little Bai about that.”

Cheryl said with a smile, tossing the topic to Bai Yu.

“If no accidents occur, it will be in the near future,” Bai Yu also said with some uncertainty.

After all, she truly didn’t understand this.

But during the most recent communication with Little Han, she learned that the situation in Fool’s Village had undergone a very obvious change.

This showed that the Fool’s Village dream was already nearly approaching the shallow dream.

“The near future again?”

Cheryl crossed her legs on one side, resting her chin on one hand, looking at Bai Yu with a smile.

“It’s normal for a time difference to appear between the dream and reality, isn’t it?”

Bai Yu once again used this explanation, preparing to gloss over the topic.

But after she finished her words this time, she keenly sensed an abnormality.

It was a type of throb originating from the soul—very weak, yet very real.

Bai Yu instinctively looked at the several people across from her and found that they had clearly sensed the abnormality as well.

With just a single exchange of looks, they all understood what was likely to happen next.

The witches slowly stood up, their gazes instinctively looking toward the distance, eventually circling back to the core sector where the Primal Dream State was breaking through reality in the distance.

Standing there were the golden Dual-Trees growing back-to-back.

They all knew very well what that represented.

“It’s finally here. Hehe, let me see exactly what kind of grand scene this Dream Calamity is, to make Old Witch Mei choose to temporarily avoid its edge.”

Bev Ailana stood up, full of expectation, and said with a smile.

“Oh? Not going to notify Mei Linde first?”

“Doesn’t that fellow say she’s watching the Expansion Realm at all times? Does she still need me to remind her? Truly a joke!”

Bev Ailana said disdainfully.

“True enough.”

Cheryl also started laughing, and subsequently, her gaze also looked toward the distance.

“This is clearly a throb of the Primal Dream State. The affected range is a bit wide. I’ll go measure what its limit range is; you all should also pay attention and evade.”

Cheryl also stood up, unable to wait.

As she finished speaking, her figure disappeared from beside the campfire.

“No need to evade. Isn’t it just the Primal Dream State? How much commotion can it possibly cause?”

Bev Ailana also said quite indifferently.

According to the great winds and waves she had experienced, what kind of scene had she not seen?

Even in the Void wars where large world clusters fell, she was a participant and even a witness.

This kind of calamity that could only affect the Expansion Realm was not worth mentioning in her eyes.

“Academy Head Bev, it’s still better not to look down on the Primal Dream State too much,” at this moment, Bai Yu also spoke up to remind her.

In the Transcendent world, there were too many matters that could not be solved by pure strength.

Although Academy Head Mei wouldn’t let Bai Yu enter the Primal Dream State rashly, that didn’t mean Bai Yu hadn’t tried entering the shallow Primal Dream State to experience it.

Precisely because she had experienced it, she could understand the dangers of the Primal Dream State.

And with the passage of time, the abnormality of the Primal Dream State was gradually sensed by the other Transcendent academies.

After all, they didn’t have soul essences; their sensitivity toward the Primal Dream State was naturally incomparable.

After confirming that this burst of abnormality was not a device error or damage, those Transcendent academies immediately thought of the Witch Academy.

Thus, they instantly unified in a consensus—all of this was the doing of those witches!

Consequently, they quickly gathered at the location of the Witch Academy’s forward observation station.

“Exactly what kind of ghost thing are you witches up to?”

Accompanying this questioning shout, Bev Ailana turned her body to look at the several figures before her.

In the pitch-black night, only the light from that campfire reflected their forms.

“Are you asking me?”

“You… exactly what have you all done to the Primal Dream State?”

The Wizard who had been frightened still faced the pressure of this Academy Head and questioned loudly.

“Those witches of yours who entered the Primal Dream State didn’t get lost at all, right! Are you all plotting some conspiracy!”

“Truly ridiculous. If the Witch Academy wanted to plot something against you, would it really be your turn to come here and point at us while asking this kind of question?”

Bai Yu mocked them to the extreme from the side.

But she was actually right.

Did the Witch Academy’s side count as plotting?

Even the Witch Academy was not clear on exactly what kind of calamity the Primal Dream State would erupt with, but what was certain now was that this calamity had already begun its prelude.

At this moment.

Arriving in the sky above the Expansion Realm, Cheryl turned around to overlook the earth.

The dream region originally covered by the Primal Dream State was now not even the size of a palm in her field of vision.

That massive golden Dual-Tree Structure was still emitting a brilliant radiance.

And with that as the core, Cheryl faintly saw… a massive illusory world slowly overlapping with the Expansion Realm.

“Is this… ‘Fool’s Village’?”

After Cheryl muttered this sentence to herself, she only felt everything before her eyes seemed about to shatter.

But what seemed to be shattering was not reality… but her way of perceiving the world through her senses.

Yet all of this seemingly made no difference……

At this moment, the corner of Cheryl’s mouth, which always carried a hint of a playful smile, could no longer hold its pose.

Because she seemingly realized that the affected range of the Primal Dream State appeared even more terrifying than she had expected!

In just an instant, as an “old fritter” who had entered the Primal Dream State multiple times, she quickly converted her own adaptation state.

This feeling was miraculous.

She remained in reality, yet her consciousness was swept into the dream by the massive Primal Dream State.

And at this moment, the things in her eyes also became exceptionally eerie.

This feeling was just like when she first touched True Time back then, the things her gaze saw.

This was the perspective of the Primal Dream State!

The earth of the Expansion Realm became a place where dream Information was deposited, and countless dream creatures continuously surged out from the depths.

And she once again truly saw that sliver of the dream world.

It seemed to have no boundaries, yet the infinite dream creatures outlined its edges with their illusory figures.

Golden-glinting chains wrapped around the entire dream world like a seal, and the Nightmares decorated it in a treacherous and ominous manner.

The order, like a staircase anchored the road from the dream leading to reality, like a lighthouse upon an endless sea, guiding the direction of its ascent.

Exactly what kind of great power was dragging such a dream world to surface into reality from within the Primal Dream State……

Just a single Grand Spellbook possessed by Little Han, which Bai Yu told her about?

Or perhaps a portion of [Transcendent Knowledge]?

It definitely wasn’t either!

Then… only the Dream Domain remained.

A thing like a domain was the hallmark of the Saint Stage; it was a leap in the energy level of the power one mastered, and further the root of the power of a Saint Stage Transcendent to confront a world single-handedly.

Is this a Dream Domain within the Primal Dream State?

Cheryl’s gaze reflected the exquisite beauty of the scene before her.

For a time, she was even a bit dazed from watching……

That was a type of yearning for unknown power!

At this moment, the dream world was like a giant whale leaping out of the sea surface, opening its massive mouth and swallowing every consciousness upon the Expansion Realm.

This was the only description Cheryl could come up with.

Just as Little Han had depicted, all of this was the silence before the storm.

When everything happened, no one could escape the sweep of the disaster.

Even she, overlooking the earth from high in the sky, could not escape the invasion of the Primal Dream State.

All the witches had guessed wrong…

This Dream Calamity of the Primal Dream State did not just affect this one region.

Instead… it was more than half of the Expansion Realm!

At this moment, the Expansion Realm was like a massive meteorite crashing into the surface, with a terrifying shockwave rippling beneath the atmosphere.

But this was not a meteorite impact; it was the descent of the Primal Dream State!

It broke through the boundaries of reality, using a dream world evolved from a portion of [Transcendent Knowledge] as an anchor, dragging a massive number of dream creatures with it from the depths of the Primal Dream State.

The Primal Dream State in the depths instantly poured back into reality.

No living thing could escape unscathed.

The Expansion Realm was still that same Expansion Realm.

The difference was… at this moment, the Expansion Realm was silent.

Everything instantly fell into a dead silence.

All consciousnesses returned to the Primal Dream State.

Cheryl could feel her perspective constantly descending.

She was not surprised by this… because she knew very well she had entered the dream, and her power was gradually declining.

That was the appearance of constantly falling into the deep Primal Dream State.

The actual reason was that the Transcendent rules and order of reality gradually collapsed within the dream.

The deeper she fell into the Primal Dream State, the more she would return to the original truth of consciousness—a single individual without any power.

This was the horror of the Primal Dream State.

No matter how powerful she had once been, here… she was useless as well.
