Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Once the experiment for the Perfection Ritual began:

When I scrutinized the Self-generating Magic Power within Tan Han’s body from a perspective of higher cognition, it felt exceptionally crude.

Back when Tan Han first preliminarily possessed Self-generating Magic Power, I couldn’t even directly observe its existence; I had to borrow other means just to confirm that the talent had been born.

But now, its existence was no longer a so-called secret to me.

As the brand-new Perfection Ritual was completed upon Tan Han’s life level, the Self-generating Magic Power within her was being perfected at a speed that was almost “visible to the naked eye”!

I wasn’t surprised by this.

After all, I knew that the upper limit for the speed of advancing perfection by interfering with Self-generating Magic Power through rituals was actually very high.

Back when I saw April gestate Self-generating Magic Power from nothing and reach thorough completeness in just a few short hours, I understood that if the technique for constructing Self-generating Magic Power matured, it could completely cross that distance in a short time to reach perfection, just like an advancement to Transcendent.

However, although the current stage of the Perfection Ritual was a huge improvement over the previous ones, it still hadn’t reached the expectations I had just envisioned.

If Tan Han wanted to reach perfection at this rate, she would have to wait at least one or two years!

This length of time wasn’t long for others—after all, the time spent in the Witch Academy was ten years.

Moreover, this Perfection Ritual usually didn’t consume much energy.

For those who were fast, they could thoroughly perfect their Self-generating Magic Power in about a year.

Was this not progress?

But to me, one or two years was still too long.

This efficiency couldn’t even compare to mine!

I didn’t need a Perfection Ritual; I simply used self-awakened body cultivation as the architectural foundation, and it perfected itself naturally.

This process didn’t even take a year.

Since external means were being used for interference, if the efficiency couldn’t even beat my passive rate, it would be truly embarrassing.

“I can feel the magic power in my body now… Has it increased? Is it this fast?”

At this moment, Tan Han also reported the situation she felt in real-time.

“Mhm, it shows we found the right method. Tan Han, your luck is really useful.”

I said quite casually.

Although Destiny didn’t actually provide any boost—it was entirely a success achieved by relying on my own understanding—giving Tan Han some appropriate encouragement so she felt like she was also playing a part would at least give her some sense of participation.

“Is that so?”

Tan Han felt a bit of unreality at this moment.

Had her Destiny really reached such a heaven-defying level?

Before, it was the Architecture Ritual, where she unexpectedly succeeded after just one attempt, and this time was similar to the last.

“Yes, don’t think too much. However, being this smooth was indeed somewhat beyond my expectations. Tan Han, according to the plan, I should next continuously correct the Perfection Ritual so it can achieve the maximum efficiency in perfecting Self-generating Magic Power.”

“But doing that would be far too boring. Do you want to accompany me in trying some brand-new attempts? I can’t really give many guarantees; I can only say that if you die, I can resurrect you—even in situations where a normal Resurrection Spell cannot. I have the confidence to bring you back.”

After all, the effect of the Reincarnation spellbook was no joke.

Coupled with the Soul Depiction technique—although this technique hadn’t been perfected yet, I could use such means to do things ordinary people couldn’t.

For example… if soul-substance dissipates, I could regather it in a short time after death.

I could even try to piece it together if it shattered and merged into the earth vein soul-substance cycle.

However, my experiment wouldn’t drive Tan Han to the point of death like that.

What I said was merely the source of my confidence for making willful attempts.

“Brand-new attempts…”

Tan Han repeated my words.

It seemed the “results of her luck” had given her a lot of confidence, so she agreed very quickly.

“Since you proposed it, Xiao Han, then I naturally believe you won’t make a joke out of me. I agree.”

“Very good, a wise choice!”

I said with a smile.

As for what I wanted Tan Han to cooperate with… naturally, it was to help me explore the secrets of Self-generating Magic Power!

While Tan Han’s Self-generating Magic Power was not yet perfected, I needed to collect the characteristics of Self-generating Magic Power as it was perfected to each stage.

I would use this to help me understand if the ”Prototype” concept of Self-generating Magic Power was correct.

I naturally hadn’t forgotten the possibility of ”Prototype Self-generating Magic Power” and derivations I thought of earlier; I just never had the chance.

Now that Tan Han was even willing to cooperate, I naturally wouldn’t waste such a good opportunity.

Using the assumption that the ”Prototype” concept was real as a prerequisite, this exploration process might even trigger my derivation inspiration for it.

It was just like the Fireball spellbook back then.

Once I learned to dismantle it, the thought of modding it naturally arose.

This feeling was like returning to the past, when I first touched and dismantled the Fireball spellbook with Teacher Ji Niang’s help.

Just reminiscing about that feeling made my interest soar!

However, the excited expression I had at this moment appeared as a different sight to Tan Han.

She suddenly regretted agreeing so readily just now; this was simply the expression of a predator looking at prey!

Unfortunately, there was no medicine for regret in this world.

I began my preparations in full swing.

Since I was recording periodic characteristics, I naturally needed to adjust the data reception channels within the Great Tree of Knowledge.

Witch Academy.

After two days of the incident fermenting, a matter that had been completely eclipsed by the heat of the Arena Power Network Ladder Rankings and the Newcomer Competition was once again brought up by many.

That was the match in the arena between Tan Han and that assistant named April.

Originally, many people felt this matter had passed and there would be no follow-up, but things did not continue according to that predetermined development.

A lot of explosive news quickly spread.

Namely, that April, whose assistant status was stripped by Mentor Chris, had actually advanced to Transcendent and returned to the Witch Academy once again.

The academy had even held a personal graduation ceremony for her.

Because it was impossible for students in the academy to graduate at the same time, the graduation ceremonies of the Witch Academy were held individually.

Occasionally, if they happened at the same time, they would be held jointly.

Only the completion ceremony was handled collectively.

After the last semester passed and before the Witch Academy welcomed a new batch of students, the academy had sent off another batch of senior students.

Even their completion ceremony didn’t have much heat, as if they were just going through the motions.

But right now, the rumors regarding April circulating on the Academy Network were very much a topic of conversation.

Although advancing to Transcendent wasn’t considered rare—after all, someone in the Witch Academy would advance every once in a while—this person, April… no, this witch, April, was simply too much of a hot topic!

First of all, April’s name had appeared on the Academy Network not long ago.

Subsequently, she bumped into her identity as a member of the Hawthorne Family.

The incidents in Mo Nuo Peng City initially didn’t have much heat in the Witch Academy; after all, it wasn’t in witch territory.

But when combined with April’s matter, it could instinctively trigger many people’s passion for gossip.

Coupled with the intentional guidance of Millian and the support groups, this led to the widespread dissemination of this matter on the Academy Network.

Thus, many “people in the know” and “on-site” spectators appeared on the Academy Network, gradually piecing together the “process and truth” of the entire incident.

First, conspiracy theorists were filling in the blanks, claiming the Wizard family wanted to harm the Witch Academy’s genius student Tan Han and strangle the Witch Academy’s Child of Destiny.

This point was indeed half-guessed correctly… but they were after the Wand of Absolute Cold in Tan Han’s hand, not her status as a Child of Destiny.

Then, Assistant Xiao Han stepped in to settle the matter and took Mentor Chris to expel Assistant April from the Witch Academy.

Finally, Assistant Xiao Han couldn’t stand the Hawthorne Family’s actions and personally went to Mo Nuo Peng City, creating a bloodbath there in just a few short days.

During this period, Assistant Xiao Han saw the humiliation April suffered in the family, instigated her defection, and guided her to advance to Transcendent.

Only after causing a huge scene in Mo Nuo Peng City did she return to the Witch Academy with satisfaction.

This was currently the most normal version on the Academy Network.

Many other “unofficial histories” were entirely about shaping the public opinion.

In just these two days, rumors of a scandal between the witch April and the witch Chris had even spread on the Academy Network.

Some students claimed to have seen the witch April confessing to Mentor Chris…

Some students even claimed to be April’s friends or besties, describing gossip about April having secret feelings for her mentor during her student years as if it were fact…

These topics were to the extent that even if the parties involved just saw them, they would be fuming.

By the time this matter reached its end, no one expected that most people had started chatting about this kind of gossip, while not many talked about serious business.

After all, on the internet, almost everyone is only willing to believe what they expect to see rather than the truth.

However, this heat truly gave the newcomers who hadn’t been enrolled for long a little bit of witch shock.

It let them know that between girls and girls, it was also possible…

Fortunately, April was about to leave the Main World within these two days to head to the broader Void world, so she didn’t have to be angry over those brain-dead topics on the Academy Network anymore.

Here at the laboratory.

After the initial data collection, I adjusted the Perfection Ritual again based on that.

Right now, I wasn’t in a hurry to correct the Perfection Ritual.

Instead, I was using the Perfection Ritual as a means to constantly test various characteristics of Self-generating Magic Power.

And all of this was only to verify whether the “Prototype Self-generating Magic Power” concept was correct.

And the answer was unexpectedly simple.

That was, it truly was a prototype.

And it was the same principle as self-awakened body cultivation.

Self-awakened body cultivation was also a kind of power prototype.

It had given birth to many things, such as body dominance, the body cultivation system, five senses body cultivation, and so on.

If the prototype of self-awakened body cultivation traces back to its root and its basic external manifestation is body dominance, then the external manifestation of Self-generating Magic Power is the birth of magic power.

The derivation of the body dominance ability acting on the body can be seen as body cultivation of strength enhancement; acting on perception channels, it is five senses body cultivation developing five senses perception.

Then what can the characteristic of giving birth to magic power derive?

It can derive the condensation technique for a special creation—the Magic Power Source condensation technique.

Transcendent Witches developed a spell cultivation system unique to witches based on the Magic Power Source characteristic, and they also utilized Witchification based on the Magic Power Source characteristic to walk a path of dual cultivation in body cultivation.

And using the Body-transformation spell concept, I once again perfected the vacancies in the body cultivation field with Magic Power Sources.

So all of this was still a circle, eventually winding back.

Then the most foundational Self-generating Magic Power of a witch… surely it has no other derivation paths?

There definitely are; with a Truth Witch’s wisdom, it can certainly be achieved.

And the fact that those techniques haven’t spread shows that those techniques are not suitable for dissemination.

It’s also possible they don’t want to spread them.

After all, who doesn’t want to keep a trump card for themselves?

I understood this very well; including myself, I also wanted to keep a trump card.

The Self-generating Magic Power derivation of a Transcendent Witch is for the purpose of hooking into the witch racial concept.

The Magic Power Sources born this way have a strongly guided Witchification effect, which is more efficient than Witchification guided by magic power alone.

So far, I hadn’t seen what other uses the Transcendent Witch-level Self-generating Magic Power has.

Perhaps I just haven’t discovered them, but from the Self-generating Magic Power born in April, I haven’t observed any more data; it was merely a concept serving the witch race.

And I now also had an inspiration for Self-generating Magic Power that had arisen earlier.

Infinite Magic Power.

If my thinking was previously limited to constantly improving magic power recovery efficiency, then that was ultimately just a type of “pseudo-infinite magic power.”

But looking at it from a derivation perspective now, many things became clear.

When Self-generating Magic Power tends toward completeness, the magic power recovery speed has an upper limit.

Therefore, the previous thought was completely wrong; the magic power recovery efficiency of Prototype Self-generating Magic Power has its limit.

Unless one finds another way.

Then… what thing has infinite energy in a true sense?

I could only think of one.

That was the Void Crack.

Although theoretically the energy of a Void Crack might not be infinite, this phenomenon of Void power was nearly infinite compared to me as an individual.

Since Transcendent Witches felt that hooking Self-generating Magic Power into the witch racial concept could achieve the results they wanted, I could similarly feel that Self-generating Magic Power could be hooked into a totem!

Although a Void Crack isn’t the power of the totem itself but a secondary characteristic of the totem itself, this didn’t mean it was impossible to utilize.

Moreover, I knew of one thing that utilized Void Cracks, and that was—a Grand Spellbook.

By coincidence, I had all the key nodes for this series of deductions!

Let me organize it now.

My Grand Spellbook has a coexistence relationship with the body cultivation domain, and the body cultivation domain similarly has an inseparable connection with self-awakened body cultivation.

And totems are born from self-awakened body cultivation, Self-generating Magic Power, and the witch racial concept.

Everything was thus connected.

The rest would depend on how I operate and utilize it.

After all, I had gathered all the derivation inspirations and crossed the threshold for realizing those inspirations.

How was this different from being all set and ready?

As for Tan Han at this moment… she didn’t know what exactly I had done, but I knew very well what I had gained in this process.

Those were benefits no one could imagine!

But for Tan Han in all this… she only bore the risk.

Maybe I should find a time to compensate Tan Han, I thought to myself.
