Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

After arriving at the indoor training room, I directly switched into my Teaching Assistant persona and began teaching.

If it weren’t for this session, I would have almost forgotten my status as a Teaching Assistant.

But who could blame me when Big Sis Bai usually wouldn’t let me waste time on her courses…

Thinking about it made me sigh.

However, after experiencing teaching these fellows from my dorm, I discovered that I actually had quite a bit of teaching talent.

Even Hong Chenyi could understand it and perform the movements standardly.

Wasn’t this proof of talent?

However, since they hadn’t undergone the Witch-transformation Reconstruction Metamorphic Spell yet, they couldn’t truly perform the cultivation, so I only spent some time on teaching the physical movements.

And while teaching, I realized another problem… that was, Hong Chenyi and the others didn’t have enough Magic Power Sources!

Although they also persistently challenged the Witch’s Secret Realms to obtain Magic Power Source rewards, by now, their Magic Power Sources were definitely not enough to conduct the Self-generating Magic Power construction ritual…

But… that didn’t matter.

Magic Power Sources were a resource that was almost “overflowing” within the Witch Academy; those with ability had plenty of ways to get them.

However, that didn’t mean beginners could just pick them up off the ground without cost.

Most Magic Power Sources were simply being hoarded within the Witch Academy in another way.

Furthermore, Magic Power Sources weren’t a resource like Soul Crystals that could only be encountered by chance, so I could just find Millian to collect them later.

But… preparing nearly ten thousand Magic Power Sources for each of the four people at once was also not a small amount.

And I had already passed the stage where I would help them for free.

The opportunity had been given; I couldn’t be expected to feed them as well, right?

Besides, they were participating in the Self-generating Magic Power experiment.

Once they mastered Self-generating Magic Power and the Magic Power Source condensation technique, they wouldn’t lack Magic Power Sources in the future.

So, letting them take an advance was fine. I didn’t plan on helping them for free; otherwise, without a bit of pressure on the road of hard work, how could it be transformed into motivation?

Especially for Hong Chenyi—I felt she seemed too comfortable.

If I didn’t set some debts for her, I felt she wouldn’t get serious.

After coming out of the training ground, I had another meal with them.

This could be considered a tradition of our dorm; after all, who could refuse a delicious feast?

After eating, we each went back to our own business.

And during the process of spending time with them, another episode occurred in the academy.

That was, our phones, or rather the Seeds of Great Knowledge connected to the academy network, received a Joyful News message released by the academy system.

The general content inside was a notification like:

“The student team led by Teaching Assistant Yang Yuehan has preliminarily overcome the difficulties of the Self-generating Magic Power body talent, and the first wave of small-scale testing is currently being conducted in the academy……”

To be reported by the academy system—this kind of treatment was truly shocking!

The last time such an announcement was made seemed to be when the Great Tree of Knowledge caused an anomaly to rise in the academy, right?

However, this kind of announcement wasn’t a pop-up, so students who didn’t pay much attention to the academy system announcements mostly didn’t know about it at all.

But those who understood the weight of an academy system report immediately noticed the importance of this matter.

So very quickly, the concept of the Self-generating Magic Power body talent began to spread within many circles.

In fact, many people were inquiring about this test and the qualifications for it.

Because they were almost completely unaware of it!

It happened too suddenly, and no one had ever mentioned this to them.

But it wasn’t their fault; after all, students couldn’t enter the experimental area, so news regarding the progress of the experiment naturally wouldn’t leak out.

However, many people also recalled what that Teaching Assistant Xiao Han said at the arena on the day school started.

But they never thought things would progress so rapidly!

But as for the commotion this matter caused in other circles, I couldn’t be bothered to care; after all, I only cared about whether the experiment could proceed.

After finishing with those people from my dorm, many figures surfaced in my mind.

For instance, those who had fought alongside me in the academy exchange matches—Minian, Shi Huiyu, and Lan Baihui.

However, I hadn’t been in contact with them for a long time.

And then, I thought of Lucianne, as well as Qiu Ruxin and Ninglan Qiuyue.

But under the special treatment of the academy, Ninglan Qiuyue was currently managing the Ninglan territory in the Expansion Realm and handling the interconnection with the outside world.

I estimated the Witch Academy planned to have Ninglan qiuyue integrate the Expansion Realm, so at this stage, I probably couldn’t invite Ninglan qiuyue.

I estimated that for her, it would likely be at an even later stage.

As for Qiu Ruxin… I supposed I had some fate with this girl who enrolled midway, but she didn’t have course exemptions, so she wasn’t very suitable to participate in this experiment.

As for… Lucianne.

She seemed like a good target.

I didn’t know if Millian had called that unlucky kid…

However, her relationship with Wan Shi Wu was deep, which truly required me to weigh things carefully.

The Wan Shi Wu club was too chaotic; I didn’t know if Lucianne would once again establish a connection with the Wizard Academy because of the fence-sitting forces and her family.

However… Lucianne wasn’t a member of the family, so she shouldn’t have any so-called sense of belonging toward the Wizard Academy.

Therefore, I decided that I indeed needed to contact Lucianne to prevent her from going astray.

After all, she was the first person to test my Seed of Great Knowledge; I still had some high hopes for her.

……

Early the next morning.

I arrived at the laboratory as usual.

Last night, I had also made a temporary decision to find Lucianne.

As one of the few Children of Destiny in the Witch Academy, I could find her location even just by using the Destiny Gazing Technique.

So I went directly to find her last night.

After possessing the Seed of Great Knowledge I gifted her, Lucianne had temporarily escaped the label of being theoretically deficient, so I didn’t find her in the library like before.

Instead, she was at another training ground.

As one of the excellent students whose course exemption was seen as a standard feature, Lucianne’s daily routine was similarly very hardworking and strenuous.

She had experienced the betrayal of the Wizard Academy and endured the lack of understanding from her family.

Now in the Witch Academy, her only reliance was the Wan Shi Wu club.

So she worked very hard; she needed to make herself worthy of such treatment!

And she also saw through the identity of the so-called “Child of Destiny” earlier than Tan Han, realizing that it meant nothing for those who were nobodies, so she could only work hard.

As for what she was working hard for……

In the Transcendent world, what was the yardstick that measured everything?

That was naturally power!

Transcendent power was the goal of her efforts.

Having experienced a period of influence at the Wizard Academy, Lucianne was more or less affected by what she saw and heard.

There were many forms of Transcendent power—equipment, alchemical items, potions, and materials.

In the Witch Academy, there was another universal standard of measurement: Magic Power Sources and Spellbooks.

She had witnessed the methods of Wizards and personally experienced the hardships Wizards faced to obtain power.

She understood the value of knowledge better than any other student of the same batch in the Witch Academy, and she also understood how difficult it was to obtain power.

That was why when she saw Magic Power Sources and Spellbooks, she envied this kind of ready-to-use power that witches had so much.

And now… she had also become a member of the witches.

She wasn’t someone who was good at studying; otherwise, right after arriving at the Witch Academy, she wouldn’t have been the first one troubled by the theoretical courses.

But after having the Seed of Great Knowledge, this situation had changed a lot.

She needed power—power sufficient to master her own destiny.

And before obtaining enough power, she had to learn to play nice.

At least when facing a massive club like Wan Shi Wu, she was powerless to resist.

Currently, the relationship between me and the Wan Shi Wu club is very subtle.

They didn’t want to actively provoke me, but they also wanted the Heart of Cold Tide in my hands.

They were heavily guarded against me, yet would appear respectful when in contact with me.

This resulted in me feeling the wariness of those around Lucianne when I contacted her.

They didn’t seem to want Lucianne to have too much of a relationship with me.

Perhaps… the matter with April made them feel that people who contacted me would eventually gradually slip out of their control…

In the end, I only spoke a few words with Lucianne before leaving.

It wasn’t that they had the ability to drive me away, but that I could feel that kind of gaze from Lucianne; she also didn’t want me to have too much contact with her.

Of course, this feeling was more out of helplessness rather than Lucianne herself being unwilling to have any communication with me.

Possessing Heart Sense, I could easily see through what Lucianne was thinking; even if she disguised it perfectly, it was to no avail.

So if I stayed any longer, the one who would have trouble wouldn’t be me, nor Wan Shi Wu, but Lucianne.

So I didn’t force the matter too much.

At this moment, I arrived at the laboratory and found Millian still lingering here.

“Big Sis Xiao Han… sorry, because there were really too many things yesterday, so that… I only delivered them this morning.”

Seeing me arrive, Millian immediately stepped forward to explain.

“It’s nothing; there’s no need to apologize for such minor details.”

After all, no matter what, Millian had delivered the Soul Crystals on time, hadn’t she?

Furthermore, I had indeed given Millian quite a few arrangements yesterday—not just the matter of negotiating with Wan Shi Wu, but also the arrangement and notification of experimental personnel, and so on.

These were all things that required a lot of time and effort to handle.

Before Millian left, I also asked her to help prepare some things regarding Magic Power Sources.

These Magic Power Sources were naturally in preparation for the experiment.

The quantity was in the units of tens of thousands.

This certainly wasn’t just for the sake of those in my dorm; after all, not every participant in this experiment had a Magic Power Source limit of ten thousand, and the discrepancy in quantity naturally needed to be made up.

Of course, these Magic Power Sources were definitely not being given away for free.

After all… where in the world was there such a good thing?

After sending Millian off, I also went to my area and saw the special storage casket placed there.

This itself was an alchemical tool specifically used for preserving Soul Crystals.

After all, a Soul Crystal itself was an unstable crystal.

If any accident occurred and it evaporated into an untouchable and hard-to-recover soul-substance state, it would be difficult even to try to remedy it.

After opening the casket and inspecting it, I confirmed the quality of the Soul Crystals.

I took them out and sealed them into my Book in the Casket.

No matter how safe a box was, how could it be safer than the seal of my Book in the Casket?

I must say, the quality of these Soul Crystals Millian prepared for me was indeed quite good.

This amount was more than enough for those three little ones of Fool’s Dream.

Even excluding the backups, there was quite a lot left over.

However, I didn’t plan to use Soul Depiction on Fool’s Dream right now.

Because… I didn’t know what the consequences of doing so would be, nor how much time it would cost me.

While facing another large-scale experiment, I didn’t want to complicate things.

So I planned to continue making sufficient early preparations for Fool’s Dream.

For the small-scale promotion test of Self-generating Magic Power, I would inevitably have to be involved in the early stages.

Only after everything was on the right track would I choose to let go and focus my energy on Soul Depiction.

After all, I wasn’t interested in this kind of boring and repetitive experiment.

Furthermore, I also believed in the abilities of Yi Rui and the others.

They were no longer the group of people from the beginning who needed me to lead them in everything.

In this large-scale experiment, the sisters in the laboratory would also personally participate in this experiment in batches.

This was also their request.

They couldn’t wait for the Self-generating Magic Power construction technique to be completely perfected before trying; they only wanted to pave their own way on this road of constant exploration, rather than using others as a bridge and enjoying the final result at the end.

Perhaps… this was the difference in pursuit between them and ordinary people, but I expressed my understanding of it.

Because if I were to choose, I would likely make the same choice as them.

After making this decision, everyone in the laboratory also welcomed a brief period of leisure.

Many people were looking forward to the arrival of this small-scale promotion experiment.

As for why it was called a brief period?

Because around this afternoon, our reporting had already been completed.

Moreover, the requested venue, the supervising mentors, and so on had all been arranged.

This efficiency… was truly frightening.

This wasn’t something where a stroke of a pen to sign a name would get it approved; there were also many trivial matters to handle, and those things all required time and energy to do.

Clearly, this had been specially approved.

Actually, just thinking about the academy announcement released yesterday, one would know the academy’s high level of attention to this matter.

After packing up, the sisters in the laboratory also set off one after another to our venue.

Quite a few people brought equipment there in advance to debug it.

After all, this equipment needed to be adapted for information synchronization with the Seeds of Great Knowledge, and debugging it was also quite troublesome.

I also notified everyone about this in the group, letting those not in the laboratory know where we were going next.

“By the way, where is the place we’re going? This location seems to be somewhere I haven’t been much.”

“It seems to be a fully indoor training ground? Needless to say, for the academy, a place with a large area is definitely a training ground.”

“I heard we need to go there ourselves to negotiate, organize the venue, clearly delineate the experimental boundaries and warning prompts, and remind those wandering around not to affect them. So there’s still quite a lot for us to do.”

“Ah? Do all of these need to be done by ourselves? How about we post a mission to recruit some volunteers to help us with the maintenance?”

“Good idea, how about we implement it? Speaking of which, do volunteers need to sign a secrecy Witch’s Contract for the experiment?”

“Probably not… anyway, it’s a technique that’s going to be promoted. Would anyone really come to steal it? What would be the meaning? Even if they stole it, they wouldn’t understand it.”

“Let’s sign a time-limited contract just to be safe; consider it insurance.”

The crowd chatted like this, and very quickly, they organized the trivial matters into mission applications and posted them on the academy system.
