Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

“Where... is... this place?”

After breaking away from the shallow rules of reality interfered with by my Domain, I entered a place I had never been to before.

But without thinking, this must be the Primal Dream State!

After sensing that the consciousness anchoring I had placed in the shallow layer and reality had no problems, my courage also grew.

Everything here was very strange, like a junkyard; everything within my sight was a gathering of concepts formed by information.

When my gaze swept over them, those information concepts would transform into concrete objects within my subjective cognition.

Furthermore, these objects would constantly change along with my cognition, harmonizing without any sense of discordance, as if I had eaten poisonous mushrooms.

Even I could not define what piece of equipment those creations belonged to a part of, yet it was such existences that constructed this vast “dream world.”

“All that was deposited here was information the dream state had obtained from reality... was the source... the dreams of living beings?”

Regarding the dream state presenting such a form, I was somewhat surprised.

This made me think of a possibility, which was that the Primal Dream State might be like a junkyard, and people who sleep and dream were like people throwing out trash.

They brought dreams constructed with their own cognition, and after experiencing them, those dreams became a part of the Primal Dream State…

Just as I intended to explore a bit, I felt the dream creatures I had captured struggle at this moment.

“Oh, I almost forgot about you.”

Looking at the dream creatures I had brought here, I remembered what I was supposed to do.

“I was... what was I supposed to do again? Can this Primal Dream State even affect my cognition?”

But regardless, memories were continuous. After sorting out my own memories, I also completed the reasoning of what I wanted to do based on logic.

“I want to use these dream creatures as experiments, then go back…… wait, what experiment was I going to do?”

When I realized that this crucial problem could not be resolved, I instinctively broke out in a cold sweat.

No!

I was a conscious body, how could I break out in a cold sweat?

The moment I touched upon a problem beyond my cognition, a segment of memory was immediately triggered.

“No... Big Sis Bai is still waiting for me……”

When this memory stimulated my instincts, I felt myself being forcibly dragged out of this unknown dream world.

Real world.

At this moment, I was like a lucky survivor who had been pulled up from drowning, breathing heavily to relieve the oppression and fear on my soul.

After calming down for a period of time, I also began to organize the situation of the dive into the Primal Dream State just now.

First, one thing could be confirmed: I did not encounter any external danger.

Second… the memories were recalled, and the memories were not damaged…

So the danger was the Primal Dream State itself!

It was using another method to put me in a state of cognitive shielding, as if one could not realize they were dreaming while dreaming.

After entering the Primal Dream State, I actually began to discard my original cognition and plans; specific memories were like a layer of fog that prevented me from remembering, and associative memories could only be derived through very limited logical reasoning.

And what made me fear was… after instinctively recognizing this point, I would also forget the memory anchors for going back!

In that case, I would be lost in the Primal Dream State!

I could not bear such a consequence, which was why I returned so decisively.

“Big Sis Xiao Han, are you feeling better?”

At this time, Fool’s Blue stepped forward and asked with concern.

“I am fine after all, it was my first time trying to enter such a deep layer of the Primal Dream State. I will be fine after a short break.”

I rubbed Fool’s Blue small head and said with a smile.

After having the comfort of the Fool’s Dream, I also quickly had a solution, which was to interface with the Great Tree of Knowledge again with my consciousness, using the Great Tree of Knowledge as the safeguard for my cognition and memory.

Although this still could not overcome the influence the dream state caused me, it was enough for me to do what I wanted to do.

“Big Sis Xiao Han, let us accompany you as well next time, okay?”

“You are going too?”

I looked at the three Fool’s Dreams.

Although I knew they were dream creatures and were very familiar with the Primal Dream State, I was still afraid they would encounter accidents.

“Um... well, alright then…”

Hesitating repeatedly, I recalled that brief experience in the Primal Dream State and finally nodded.

But agreeing was one thing; it did not mean I had no other requirements and preparations.

For example, when performing the memory point anchoring and awakening, it was interconnected with the consciousness of the Fool’s Dreams.

Otherwise, if the Fool’s Dreams could not return... that would truly make me cry to death.

By the time all this was done, an hour had already passed.

Do not underestimate the time required to modify the Primal Dream State runes.

Moreover, this was linking the consciousness of the Fool’s Dreams; these were all my first attempts, with no experience, relying entirely on my own exploration.

Fortunately, everything was relatively smooth.

When I dived into the depths of the Primal Dream State again, I encountered the previous situation once more.

My own memory and cognition were “interfered with” by the dream state itself.

“Great... Tree of Knowledge...”

I called upon that layer of connection between myself and the Great Tree of Knowledge.

Very quickly, a massive phantom of a tree form surfaced in my line of sight.

“I remember now……”

After organizing the cognition and memory reserved by the Great Tree of Knowledge, I quickly completed the reconstruction of my cognition.

“Fool’s Blue? Fool’s Luck……”

“Big Sis Xiao Han, we are here.”

A voice suddenly rang in my ear, but I could not see their figures no matter what.

It was not until they actively touched my “body” that I suddenly realized their existence.

And it was as if I had just recognized them; their form of existence was reshaped into the appearance of Fool’s Dreams in my “vision.”

“Was that how you were in the Primal Dream State just now?”

I inquired curiously.

The Primal Dream State had too many unknowns that made me feel terrified and unadjusted.

Just now the Fool’s Dreams were by my side, but I did not perceive them.

Only when they made contact with my conscious body and completed the “touching” of information could I “see” their existence.

That was to say… in this dream state, it seemed it was not empty.

There were too many things here I could not touch, nor could I observe, let alone know of their existence.

They passed by me in the dream state in another form.

Just thinking about this kind of thing felt extremely terrifying.

What if what passed by me was a terrifying dream creature?

“Fool’s Blue... just now…… how did you find me? I did not see you just now.”

I spoke to inquire.

“That is just how I saw Big Sis Xiao Han?”

Fool’s Blue tilted her head, as if curious why I would ask such a strange question.

“Instinct...?”

I said to myself.

Only then did I notice the position I was in.

It seemed to be on a very high ruin.

Beneath my feet were all broken fragments from reality, and in the distance… was a vast empty area beyond imagination.

Broken things drifted in eerie postures, yet they merged into this place that was like a “ruin” to me in a harmonious way.

My “vision” was somewhat blurry, and at times clear.

Suddenly at a certain moment, I seemed to realize that this area appeared to be a city; those breakages and undulations were like the towering high-rises and buildings within a city.

When I had such a thought, everything before my eyes seemed to become clear, and the scene before me…… really became a bustling metropolis!

“This is... the dream state.”

Regarding this, I also sighed with emotion.

When I reacted, I realized that I was currently standing under the phantom of the Great Tree of Knowledge.

The golden light emitted by the phantom scattered countless minute golden photons.

The power of knowledge that rose unintentionally protected my whole body, but a feeling was born inexplicably in my thoughts.

That was… I was out of place here.

“Mhm Big Sis Xiao Han, this is the Primal Dream State. Many places here do not follow rules; it is very absurd and also very strange.”

Fool’s Blue also spoke from the side.

“Then…… Fool’s Blue, what does the Primal Dream State in your eyes, which is here… look like?”

I have a guess now, which is that dream creatures like the Fool’s Dreams see a different dream world than I do.

This difference was like a person without spirit vision and a person with spirit vision seeing whether they could see True Time or not.

“What does it look like here?”

Fool’s Blue looked at me somewhat strangely, then began to describe very seriously, “Here is a very bustling city... the far distance cannot be seen clearly, but there are many people living here……”

“Many... people?”

In the long passage Fool’s Blue spoke, I captured the anomaly I cared about most.

Because, I could not see any “living things” other than the Fool’s Dreams here!

Had I encountered ghosts?

“Um... they should be people, right?”

“Could it be dream creatures?”

I inquired.

“That is also possible?”

“Fool’s Blue... stupid, this is the Primal Dream State, they must all be dream creatures!”

At this time, Fool’s Luck corrected from the side.

“Oh, right!”

I looked at the city full of “desolation.”

I could not see the dream creatures the Fool’s Dreams spoke of.

Perhaps this was the gap.

But I made a bold decision.

I prepared to go closer and see exactly what the situation was.

When I raised this request, the Fool’s Dreams also happily led me forward.

They did not have even a single bit of reservation about this.

“Speaking of which, for the dream creatures here, Fool’s Blue, aren’t you afraid they will bully you?”

Walking halfway, I suddenly inquired.

“Not afraid don’t we still have Big Sis Bai?”

“But... I cannot see them, and I cannot protect you.”

I shook my head and spoke.

“But we can go back.”

“That is right! We can go back with Big Sis Xiao Han.”

“Yes... you can follow me back.”

I also nodded, accepting this explanation.

But I felt as if I had forgotten something...

Why could the Fool’s Dreams follow me back, but these dream creatures could not?

Thinking of this, I suddenly stopped my footsteps.

I struggled to seek the answer to this question in the Great Tree of Knowledge.

In my impression, I had once explored the answer to this question.

The Fool’s Dreams could come to reality because of…… the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell!

When I derived this answer, it was as if I suddenly reacted.

But in the next moment, this “world” suddenly flipped... and I fell into the sky.

“Big Sis Xiao Han!”

The anomaly that happened abruptly immediately caused the three Fool’s Dreams a surge of tension.

Looking at me who was falling backwards into the sky, they were very powerless.

But my feeling at this moment was very wonderful.

I only felt the sky was like a mirror, and the earth and sky were reversed.

I had experienced this feeling before.

That was the conversion between my own Sea of Consciousness and the Sea of the Dream State.

I fell steadily into the sky.

The sky was like a reflected water surface; when I fell into it, it stirred up shallow ripples.

When I turned my head back again, the tree behind me was still there.

But it was no longer the Great Tree of Knowledge.

Rather…… it was the Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment!

“As expected... the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell also has a connection with the dream state?”

At this moment, I was as if I had broken into a peculiar world; the previous sense of discordance had also disappeared, and the Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment behind me was no longer out of place with the Primal Dream State.

And I... seemed to have merged into here as well.

Everything seemed to be going a bit too smoothly…… I stared at the Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment behind me, feeling that it had some slight throbbing inexplicably.

“Big Sis Xiao Han! Are you okay?”

“Big Sis Xiao Han... just now, it really scared me just now!”

“I am fine, sorry for making you worry.”

I picked up the three Fool’s Dreams.

Everything that happened just now was indeed something even I had not expected, but the abnormal situation of the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell had indeed exerted an unknown effect.

After comforting the Fool’s Dreams, I continued walking.

Towards that... city?

When I looked at that “city” again, it had already lost the appearance I originally perceived it to have.

In this moment, distance seemed to have lost its original meaning in the dream state.

The giant city that was originally still very distant was now pulled close to my eyes.

And now… it was no longer a so-called city, but a giant village.

Shedding the outer coat originally put on by the dream state, it was as if everything seen previously was an hallucination.

It was not very far from me; actually, it was very close.

It was not a giant city, but a massive village.

It was as if playing an optical illusion game; I had triggered some peculiar “switch,” and it presented itself before me in another posture.

This was the Primal Dream State that did not speak of reason nor logic.

When I stood at the gate of this village, I only felt a peculiar sense of familiarity wash over me.

Because here, it was really so similar to that Fool’s Village Secret Realm from back then!

“Fool’s Blue... Fool’s Luck, Fool’s Fruit, do you know where this is?”

“Um... not sure...”

The gazes of the three little ones were somewhat hesitant.

They seemed to really not know where this place was.

But the instinctive curiosity and closeness in their gazes unintentionally displayed a special meaning.

“But there is an inexplicable sense of intimacy here...”

“Sense of intimacy?”

I repeated the very crucial words, and only felt that I seemed to have come to an extraordinary place.

I should learn more from Academy Head Mei about the things that happened when she came into contact with the Fool’s Dreams……

Otherwise, it would not be like now where I know nothing.

And just as I and the Fool’s Dreams were in a daze, the gate of this village suddenly opened, and countless blurry shadows surged out from within.

When I saw “them,” their figures gradually transformed into postures that could be distinguished.

And the posture they now presented was actually very similar to the image of the Fool’s Dream I had molded!

“Welcome back... our Heroes, we are very glad to see you return... are only three left... So have you found the Sage who can save our Fool’s Dream race?”

The voices they spoke I could not understand, but the meaning they expressed was clearly imprinted in my mind.

Heroes?

Sage?

“Who are you……?”
