Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

”Talk. How did you get here?”

Seeing the Village Chief leave, I no longer needed to play the role of that kind Sage.

Facing this Nightmare Demon, I wouldn’t have any pleasant expression.

Even though I had undone the seal on her, her movements were still restricted.

”Who are you exactly! Why should I tell you?”

”A worthless question.”

My face turned cold, and subsequently, one hand directly gripped her face.

Power originating from the Time Sense of Body Cultivation distorted the concept of dream time.

In just a short while, the complexion of this Nightmare Demon in my hand changed repeatedly.

Because in her cognitive perception, she only felt that everything in her sight had slowed down, while only her thoughts remained unchanged.

She was forced to maintain such a posture while no one paid her any mind; this eternally unchanging status quo lasted for a day... a week... a month......

This was the understanding of time by cognition: powerless and terrified!

If it were reality, I absolutely could not have achieved this degree.

Even Big Sis Bai, I guessed she might not be able to do it.

Big Sis Bai could perfectly control Time Sense with her own self-cognition as the center, a manifestation of dominance over power.

This cognition could not influence an independent cognition other than oneself.

Even if Big Sis Bai could instantly make a person weather away, that person would experience their own body weathering away in a short time, rather than seeing themselves gradually weather away within a ”normal time flow” in their subjective cognition.

And I could achieve this not only because this was the Primal Dream State, where the information framework was even more ridiculous than reality, but mainly because of my understanding of ”Emotional Body Cultivation,” which gave me a means of interfering with ”consciousness” other than my own.

One could say that every path of Body Cultivation had its own horror, and Emotional Body Cultivation was similarly the most eerie power in my cognition, depriving or guiding the opponent’s emotions.

This power was truly too interesting.

And at this moment, the Nightmare Demon, who had ended ”several months” of imprisonment, collapsed on the ground gasping for breath.

Even though for me this was just a brief moment, for her, several months had already passed!

She could only maintain that movement and do nothing, and the energy she exhausted, along with those cognitions, memories, and tortures, were ”very real.”

”Talk, how did you come here? If you still talk nonsense, I’ll give you another year of imprisonment to see if your mouth is still hard.”

I spoke without giving her any chance, my tone entirely one of command and threat, without any concealment.

”I... I’ll talk! Don’t let me experience that again! I... I just descended into this world to enter the Primal Dream State according to the Lord’s meaning......”

”And then?”

”And then... then I saw something similar to a staircase in the Primal Dream State, and I followed the dream creatures deeper into the Primal Dream State... and arrived here...”

”You are quite capable, actually able to enter such a deep layer of the Primal Dream State? It looks like you Nightmare Demons still have some skills.”

I half-crouched down, sizing up the Nightmare Demon before me with interest.

In the past, relying on Spirit Vision, I performed a preliminary deconstruction of dream concepts like Nightmare Demons and Nightmares, eventually perfecting the Primordial Rune, thereby shaping the Nightmare Spell and Nightmare Demon Spell, finally unifying the two.

If the previous me mastered Floating World-level Spirit Vision and reached ”application” through ”probing.”

Now I had an extra layer of ”understanding.”

After a long time, I once again carefully researched the existence of the Nightmare Demon, only then could I understand just how green the previous me had been.

And incidentally, I sighed at how good my luck had been back then.

After teasing the Nightmare Demon for a bit, I also began to interrogate her quickly again.

For example, how many Nightmare Demons in total had come to the Expansion Realm this time, how many had reached Fool’s Village, and whether any had already snuck in.

But after a series of inquiries, I found that this Nightmare Demon truly knew nothing.

She didn’t know how many Nightmare Demons had come this time either; there could be dozens, or even hundreds were possible.

As for sneaking into Fool’s Village in advance... that was even more impossible.

According to her, she was captured by this ”dream world,” and after reacting, she was forced to choose to enter here amidst the throng of dream creatures.

Only then did she discover that this was a special dream world in the depths of the Primal Dream State.

They were originally sent over by the Abyssal Demons to perform information collection tasks in the Primal Dream State, and incidentally to pass on the movements and progress of the various Transcendent academies.

If possible, they were also to sabotage the research and progress of other academies in passing, to hinder other Transcendents from conducting deeper exploration of the Primal Dream State.

When all this news gathered together, it was just a very normal Primal Dream State exploration.

It just had a layer of games and small tricks between the Expansion Realm and the various Transcendent academies wrapped around it, plus various uncontrollable accidents within the Primal Dream State, which ultimately led to the encounter between me and this Nightmare Demon in Fool’s Village.

But... what I was even more curious about was that concept mentioned by the Nightmare Demon.

She said the culprit of the external Dream Calamity was the movement of this dream world.

Isn’t this indirectly saying that the originator was me?

So this also made me attach importance for the first time to the ”aftershocks” brought about by my actions within the Primal Dream State.

Forcibly shaping a dream domain order dominated by me within the Primal Dream State, anchoring a special dream state between reality and dreams......

I truly hadn’t thought about what kind of impact these things would cause; I only felt this means was very impressive... and that was it.

I didn’t even have much of a real sense of it.

After confirming that this Nightmare Demon really only knew these pieces of intelligence, I also threw her aside in disgust.

Subsequently, I proactively contacted Big Sis Bai again through the Great Tree of Knowledge.

I needed to confirm things once more.

I remembered Big Sis Bai telling me that the current Primal Dream State invasion of the Expansion Realm had entered a relatively ”smooth” stage.

Previously, I was thinking that the Primal Dream State had entered a smooth stage, so it just happened to coincide with the timeframe when I was to anchor Fool’s Village and enter the shallow dream.

This made me think of a very terrifying possibility.

If my previous actions had already triggered such a large-scale Dream Calamity, then... if I forcibly used the anchoring of [Transcendent Knowledge] to pull Fool’s Village into the shallow dream, wouldn’t it...

Thinking of this, I suddenly realized that the so-called smooth period didn’t seem to be a sign of the Primal Dream State subsiding, but rather the silence before the storm!

If previous actions were compared to waves hitting the shore, then this was simply about to stir up a super tsunami!

”It’s over......”

As soon as I thought of this possibility, my head began to ache right now.

Even if all of this was just my guess, if I ”guessed right,” the consequences would be unimaginable!

I looked at the communication between Big Sis Bai and me on the Great Tree of Knowledge.

But this was across dreams and reality; even with the Great Tree of Knowledge as an anchor for the exchange of information, I still could not establish an order absolutely equivalent to reality on a macro level.

In the Primal Dream State, order was always a special case; only chaotic disorder was the main theme of the Primal Dream State.

I no longer had the mind to care about whether that Nightmare Demon lived or died; after sealing her and throwing her aside again, I kept focusing on the information from the Great Tree of Knowledge.

And at the same time, I also took back my absolute dominance and perception over the domain.

Normally, I wouldn’t be this troublesome; after all, being in a state of receiving and processing massive amounts of information at every moment was truly tiring.

Otherwise, I wouldn’t have directly conducted screening based on the ”Nightmare” concept; it was to solve trouble all at once.

And this had resulted in this Nightmare Demon almost breaking through my defensive line against dream creatures.

Fortunately, everything could still be salvaged, and the Village Chief could be considered to have helped a lot.

As expected of the Village Chief guarding Fool’s Village.

To avoid this kind of thing happening again, I took up the burden of guarding once more; even if it was very hard, it was indeed the only way.

After a long time, my Great Tree of Knowledge finally received Big Sis Bai’s response.

The question I asked was very simple, only asking about the current situation of the Primal Dream State, whether it was gradually smoothing out like before.

After all, the previous possibility was just my guess; to verify it, I would also need to cooperate and exert force.

But the current situation of Fool’s Village was not suitable for me to leave, so wanting to verify was a very difficult thing.

And Big Sis Bai’s response was very formal, lacking that kind of intimacy from a private chat.

Perhaps this was the matter Big Sis Bai mentioned.

This was currently the only channel to achieve communication with the Primal Dream State, so the content of the communication would be public to a certain extent.

”Has it already begun to gradually recede?”

I looked at Big Sis Bai’s response; it was very detailed.

The content included the range of the Primal Dream State’s influence on reality right now, as well as comparisons and statistics with previous data; additionally, it informed me in real-time how many people were currently trapped within the Primal Dream State, and so on.

I could already imagine the scene where Big Sis Bai replied to my message while the Academy Head and a large group of other witches looked on from the side.

It must be hard on Big Sis Bai.

I wonder what kind of impact it would cause if I replied to them with this ”baseless guess” of mine.

After all, I didn’t have any evidence to prove that all of this was done by me, and that the current peace was just the silence before the storm.

Moreover, if I got it wrong, that would be a huge blunder......

”Phew Calm down, calm down... I am no longer the me of the past... Why can’t I cause such a massive commotion?”

I patted my own cheeks to comfort myself.

”The Transcendent have only touched True Time... while I have reached the Primal Dream State and shaped a dream domain... why can’t I be the Saint Stage within the dream?”

I constantly comforted myself, even to the point of talking nonsense, but I knew very well what I lacked.

I lacked the... confidence to correctly perceive myself!

Returning to the old topic of the roots of my original family again...

Regarding this, I only gave a light smile, but I made the final decision.

”Big Sis Bai... the smoothing of the Primal Dream State might represent the silence before an even greater disaster. It’s not easy for me to explain to you exactly what I’ve done, nor do I have evidence to prove all this is related to me, but please take it seriously... a true Dream Calamity will likely descend in a certain period of time afterward.”

When I finished editing this message and transmitted the information through the Great Tree of Knowledge, a stone in my heart finally fell to the ground.

Sure enough... I still wanted to do this, whether my guess was right or wrong.

This was a piece of my heart.

And not long after this message of mine was sent out, I perceived that outside the Dream Picture Scroll, another ”existence” other than dream creatures had arrived.

With a heavy gaze, I came to the sky above, welcoming their arrival.

Would these fellows still be Nightmare Demons, or those students lost in the Primal Dream State?

Or perhaps... those Transcendent Witches walking upon the Great Project of the Soul?

I didn’t know, but the answers would ultimately be revealed one by one.

Not long after, that figure appeared again.

The second ”visitor”...... was still a Nightmare Demon!

Seeing this result, my mood also suddenly became not so good.

In reality.

”Little Bai, is there no reply yet? Is the time difference between the dream and reality actually this large?”

”Not yet.”

Bai Yu shook her head to indicate no.

Currently, she was surrounded by a group of witches.

The place they were at was the temporary observation station built at the very forefront where the Primal Dream State broke through the reality boundary.

Regarding the fact that Bai Yu could communicate with Little Han in the Primal Dream State, all the witches who knew had not informed the people of other academies.

This kind of good thing was naturally for them to make a fortune in silence.

And the witches gathered around her were mostly the group who liked to watch the fun.

Of course, this also included Mei Linde, the Academy Head, as well as Cheryl, the Anti-Witch.

Of course, letting Cheryl know was naturally because they couldn’t stop her.

If possible, Mei Linde actually didn’t want her to know about this.

If she poked her finger in or caused trouble in this matter, then this matter would be pushed to an even more complex state.

”Information has come from Little Han!”

Accompanying Bai Yu’s voice, it instantly attracted the onlookers of many witches.

But after the group of witches saw the content, all of them suddenly fell silent.

The mention of the ”true Dream Calamity” and the silence before the disaster in this passage deeply silenced the group of witches.

To be honest, they were similarly unable to disprove this guess.

Even if Little Han couldn’t provide evidence, for Little Han to reach this conclusion, she must have sensed something.

Silence before the storm—this description used to describe the current Primal Dream State was similarly very appropriate.

This was also a possibility they hadn’t thought of before, or rather, even if they had, they didn’t feel the probability would be very large.

But now that Little Han had suddenly proposed it, they indeed needed to take this opportunity to think about it well.

But before any discussion, Mei Linde had already roughly guessed the final possibility, which was that no witch would retreat.

After all, witches were not existences who would retreat when encountering a disaster.

Furthermore, this message didn’t have any evidence to prove it; how could they possibly retreat just like that?

”Why is everyone silent? I think what Little Han said makes a lot of sense; aren’t you going to discuss it?”

At this moment, Cheryl took the lead in breaking the situation, bringing the topic into the open.

Primal Dream State.

Fool’s Village.

With the arrival of the Nightmare Demon, Fool’s Village also began to welcome new visitors one after another.

And currently, I had ”received” four Nightmare Demons, as well as two fragile consciousnesses whose consciousness had already fallen into confusion and mania.

These two fragile consciousnesses—even their consciousness bodies within the dream had become blurry.

This was the result of the collapse of their self-cognition.

These were those student cannon fodder whom other Transcendent academies had pushed out as experiments, as Big Sis Bai had said...

Regarding this, I only gave a second of silence.

Even if their real bodies were still fresh, it could be foreseen that they were already no different from being dead.
