Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1282: Indistinct White Figure

”Xuanyin—”

*Swoosh*

A waterball imbued with demonic power shot out from within the pond, shooting towards Mo Shentian.

Mo Shentian tried to dispel Dong Xuanyin’s attack to no avail, and her attack knocked him back several steps, which shocked Mo Tianqi.

’What the hell? How could this bitch attack my father?’ Mo Tianqi screamed in his heart.

Mo Shentian had already stabilized himself; however, he did not dare to retaliate against Dong Xuanyin. ’Tch! Her temperament never changes! The problems between us have long passed, but she still remembers the accident that happened at that time.’

”Are you okay, father?” Mo Tianqi approached him.

”I’m fine.” Mo Shentian hurriedly grabbed his third son’s shoulder as another water ball shot towards them from within the pond.

”Leave now! Otherwise, I will strike you with a deadly attack, and you should be aware that your ability to bend reality will not work against me.” Dong Xuanyin spoke in an angry tone.

”Alright, we’ll leave.” Mo Shentian chose to give up and take his third son away. However, a shadow swiftly moved toward them, caught them off guard, and devoured them.

Inside the pond, Dong Xuanyin lay sideways on a coral in a leisurely manner. Her face was delicate and refined, with slender brows, small black eyes, and slightly curved lips. Her long, jet-black hair flows down her back, styled neatly with part of it swept up. Her figure was full but not overly voluptuous, with her fitted black bodice that highlighted her chest and curvy waist. What was most interesting about her was the third eye on her forehead, which exuded unusual light. ”That stupid demon is really annoying.”

[Haha.] An indistinct white figure with a male voice suddenly laughed from behind her.

Dong Xuanyin looked back and asked, ”Are you sure the ten-tailed fox’s successor has truly arrived in this realm, Master?”

[Zhang Fei arrived in this realm several years ago, but he was focused on his seclusion. However, he has come out now, and he has done a few things in this realm. Unfortunately, many races cannot accept his existence, and they are thinking of killing him before he develops, including the four perils. I don’t know how Mo Shentian knew about him, but I think he heard about him from the beasts or natural races. That kid is still too weak, but he’s not stupid, and he has a lot of protectors now.]

”Hmm?” Dong Xuanyin furrowed her brows. ”Who are Zhang Fei’s protectors?”

[Empress Huo Yanling, Long Wuzhao, and several others. Zhang Fei is building up his strength and force now, and he managed to get nine out of ten evil beast generals as his slaves.]

”Oh?” Dong Xuanyin was surprised to hear that. ”So, Xie Heilong and the others have become Zhang Fei’s slaves now, huh?”

[Long Wuzhao and the others helped Zhang Fei weaken them, and he enslaved them afterward.]

”Do you know where Zhang Fei is now, Master?”

[Zhang Fei should be in the Soul-Devouring Domain now, as he is Nalan Shizhe’s son-in-law.]

The indistinct white figure’s answer surprised Dong Xuanyin again. ”Since Nalan Shizhe is by his side, and he still has many protectors, he should be safe, right?”

[Zhang Fei is indeed safe now, but he will be facing many dangers soon. By the way, I want you to go to the Heavenly Fiend Domain to kill the Infernal Fiend, and you can give its Blood Core to the Demonic Wind Beast, Fei Lian.]

”Fei Lian is one of the ten beast generals, and the Infernal Blood Core is one of the five demon items needed to break through to the Seven Supreme Demon Ranks, so Zhang Fei’s demon rank is still at the Ten Moral Demon Ranks.” Dong Xuanyin immediately got off the coral. ”Are you going with me, Master?”

[I can’t leave this place, so you have to go alone, and I will wait for you to come back.]

”Alright, I’ll go now, and I’ll be back soon.”

After Dong Xuanyin left, the indistinct white figure transformed into a male human with long white hair that touched almost the floor. [What exactly do you want, Shen Yuanzhi? Have you discovered the mystery hidden in this universe that you are so impatient for Zhang Fei to become strong? Are you that impatient to break free from the chains that bind our souls to this universe?]

”Father.” Mo Tianqi hid behind his father as soon as they appeared somewhere else.

Mo Shentian narrowed his eyes before speaking. ”Taotie, I know you brought us here on purpose, so you can come out now.”

”Hahaha.” Taotie laughed from a distance before walking closer to the two, but his beast form scared Mo Tianqi half to death, especially the two eyes on his armpits. ”I pity you, Mo Shentian. You are a demon god and the leader of the demon races, but you have such a cowardly son. Look at him; I didn’t do anything, but he was so scared of me.”

Mo Shentian sighed softly after turning to his third son. ”I’ve long wanted to meet you and the other three, and I sent my second son to meet your generals. Unfortunately, they suffered misfortune and fell into Long Wuzhao’s hands.”

”You shouldn’t have mentioned them in front of me!” Taotie furiously spoke. ”I can’t do anything against Long Wuzhao now, but I will chop that damned golden dragon to pieces and eat his flesh one day! So, why did you meet that woman?”

”I’m having trouble finding Wu Mian’s real body, and Dong Xuanyin can help me find him. Unfortunately, she’s not willing to help me because of past problems between us.” Taotie stared intensely at Mo Shentian. ”Even though I am the leader of the demon races, none of them truly obey me. Our strengths are also almost equal, and some of them have already formed alliances with each other. Therefore, I must find his real body, and I will use his disguise technique to invade the other demon races so I can gradually control them.”

Taotie naturally knew the Faceless Demon God, Wu Mian’s strengths, so he wasn’t surprised that Mo Shentian wanted to capture him. ”What is your purpose in looking for us?”

”What else?” Mo Shentian responded with a shake of his head. ”We have common enemies, remember? We struggled to defeat Long Wuzhao and his subordinates, and we also have to face those winged races. Therefore, I want to work together with you, and we will destroy those obstacles together.”

”Hahaha!” Taotie laughed loudly after hearing that. ”Do you really think my three brothers and I can’t defeat them? If you really think that, you’re underestimating us. We haven’t made a move against them yet for a certain reason, but I won’t explain it to you, and I can assure you that we will destroy the beast and winged races in the future. After that, you and your demon races will submit to us, and you can’t do anything to stop us.”

Mo Shentian frowned and was furious after hearing Taotie’s last sentence, but he suddenly sensed the presence of the other three, forcing him to swallow his anger.

”Hahaha!” Taotie laughed mockingly at Mo Shentian’s expression. ”I’ve had enough of your expression, so I’ll send you back, and you can wait for the time when we conquer all the races in this realm.”

”Wait—”

Before Mo Shentian could speak, Taotie had already sent the two of them away. He then turned to the other three. ”What do you guys think of his plans?”

”We don’t need to bother with his affairs, and we just need to wait for our master’s order to move.” Hundun immediately appeared along with the other two.

Taowu then spoke. ”As soon as our master wakes up and orders us to move, we will immediately attack the Divine Origin Main Domain.”

”Hey! It’s time for you to contact that useless demon! Otherwise, our master will punish us if we haven’t managed to collect those items when he wakes up.” Taotie nodded to Qiongqi before contacting Xereth, but he couldn’t reach him. ”What’s wrong?”

”He disappeared.” The three beasts frowned at Taotie’s answer. ”I contacted him but I couldn’t reach him, and I couldn’t track him anywhere, so he’s probably dead now.”

”Since that foolish demon is dead, we will send one of our subordinates to the Three Mortal Realms to search for those items.” Taotie agreed with them and summoned one of their subordinates.

Soon, a male evil beast approached them, and Taotie gave him several orders. ”You don’t need to hold back and kill anyone who gets in your way.”

”Yes, Lord.”

After that, Taotie sent the male beast into one of the passages connecting the two realms. ”Who exactly killed that foolish demon? No one should be able to defeat him in the Three Mortal Realms, unless a cultivator from this realm deliberately descended there.”

”Forget him and let our subordinate take care of that matter, and we must continue our plans in this realm.” The four perils immediately disappeared from that place.

*Boom*

Mo Shentian’s aura exploded as soon as he appeared outside the Ten Thousand Beast Grave Domain, causing his third son to feel fearful of him. ”Those bastard beasts! How dare they threaten me! Once I find Wu Mian’s real body and unite all demon races, I will immediately attack them.”

Mo Shentian turned to his third son, but he said nothing and flew away directly, and Mo Tianqi followed behind him. ’Father! You’re too scary.’
