Nalan Ziyue was surprised when Morgana walked out of the training space, proving that Zhang Fei did have a witch demon by his side.

”I’m uncertain whether the members of her race will be willing to meet her due to her low cultivation, but I’ll teach her how to find them, and you can figure out a solution yourself later.” Zhang Fei nodded to Nalan Ziyue, who immediately touched Morgana’s forehead and shared the method with her. ”You can use that method to track their whereabouts, but as I said before, they won’t necessarily be willing to meet you because of your low cultivation. Even if they were willing to meet you, your cultivation isn’t sufficient to match the Demon Soul Elixir.”

Morgana smiled bitterly at Nalan Ziyue’s words, as she didn’t have all of Zhang Fei’s advantages, nor was she a dual cultivator like him. Furthermore, she had stayed in the Three Mortal Realms for too long, so her current cultivation lagged far behind her.

”I don’t think it’s a big deal, and you can cultivate in my space for now. With the difference in the time flow, I’m sure you can break through to the Five Celestial Realms faster.” Zhang Fei sent Morgana back into the training space before asking Nalan Ziyue. ”Do you have anything else for me?”

Nalan Ziyue closed the coffin first. ”Take my corpse with you, and this coffin will preserve it until the time comes for you to use it.”

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei was confused. ”Could you please explain why I need to use your corpse?”

”I don’t have an answer for you.” Nalan Ziyue’s soul suddenly faded. ”My time is up, and I will disappear after this. Back then, Hu Tianlang told me that his successor would need my corpse for something in the future, but he didn’t explain the details to me. If you want to know about his grand plan, you just need to evolve into the ten-tailed fox, and you will have all the answers to your questions then.”

Zhang Fei’s lips twitched at that. ”Does this mean your original soul has been reincarnated?”

”Yes.” Nalan Ziyue nodded in response. ”The moment I died, Hu Tianlang helped my original soul reincarnate, but I don’t know the identity or location of my reincarnation. Perhaps, you will meet her in the future, or maybe she is already by your side now.”

”What—” Nalan Ziyue smiled mysteriously before disappearing, making Zhang Fei sigh heavily. He then looked up, and all the souls in the pond began to disappear one by one. ”I can’t promise you anything, but I will strive hard to lead your soul-devouring race to a much better life in the future.”

”The successor of the ten-tailed fox, thank you and farewell.”

Zhang Fei let out a soft sigh before looking at the coffin and touching it. ”What exactly did the old fox have planned with Nalan Ziyue’s corpse? Why did he deliberately preserve her corpse for me? What should I do with this corpse now?”

[Master, I think the safest place to hide this corpse is your soul world, so you should send it there now. As for its use, I can’t think of anything for now, but the ten-tailed fox won’t leave anything useless for you. Therefore, you don’t need to think too much about it for now, and you just need to wait for the time to get the answer.]

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei immediately sent the coffin into his soul world before using his nine cloud steps to get out of the pond.

”Zhang Fei!”

”Husband!”

”Brother-in-law!”

Nalan Shizhe and her three children exclaimed simultaneously as soon as Zhang Fei shot out of the pond, and Nalan Yushu immediately grabbed his shoulders, checking him up and down. ”Did something happen to you there?”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei softly laughed and pecked her lips. ”Nothing happened to me, so you don’t need to worry this much, okay?”

”Phew.” Nalan Yushu breathed a sigh of relief and hugged him tightly. ”I’m really scared if something happens to you, but I’m relieved that you came back safely.”

”I know you care about me, but I’m fine.” Zhang Fei turned to Nalan Shizhe, who was stunned to see the empty pond after those souls disappeared. ”Mother-in-law, I met Nalan Ziyue down there, and she—”

”What?” Nalan Shizhe abruptly looked at him, exclaiming in shock. ”Did you really meet our ancestor down there?”

”Yes.” Zhang Fei nodded at Nalan Shizhe before recounting his previous encounter with Nalan Ziyue to them, which shocked all of them. ”As for her corpse and coffin, I keep both of them in my soul world, so no one will be able to find them.”

Nalan Shizhe frowned for a moment before sighing softly. ”I didn’t expect that my soul-devouring race was already connected to you long before you met Yushu, let alone about the connection between my ancestor and the ten-tailed fox.”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed in response. ”I myself never thought that the relationship between us had been established even before I became a cultivator, but unfortunately, I was still too weak to fulfill the ten-tailed fox’s hope of becoming a peacemaker, and it still took me a very long time to be able to reach that level.”

Nalan Shizhe nodded in agreement. ”I don’t know how or how long it will take you to reach that level, but I’m sure you’ll eventually reach it one day. Right now, there’s no point in thinking about that. You just need to cultivate more diligently while building your own strength in this realm, so everything will be ready when you reach that level.”

”Yeah, you’re right,” Zhang Fei then asked her. ”Do you know the situation in the Heavenly Fiend Domain, Mother-in-law?”

”Hmm?” Nalan Shizhe and the others frowned at Zhang Fei, prompting him to explain why he wanted to go to the Heavenly Fiend Domain.

Nalan Wangzi then spoke. ”What if we take him to those black markets, Mother? We might be able to find the Infernal Blood Core and the Demon Soul Elixir there, so he won’t have to risk facing the Infernal Fiend. Furthermore, the Heavenly Fiend Demon God, Sha Mo, will definitely be aware of his presence in his domain, which will be even more risky for him.”

”Demon God Sha Mo is the most fierce among all demon gods, and his brute strength is too terrifying.” Nalan Huanzi then looked at Zhang Fei. ”Brother-in-law, I can’t measure your physical strength because I’m not a body cultivator like you, but I advise you to flee immediately if you encounter him. If one of his fists strikes you, it will crush all your bones, leaving you permanently crippled.”

”How much difference is there between Sha Mo’s strength compared to Shang Zhanluo?”

Nalan Huanzi patted Zhang Fei’s shoulder. ”Brother-in-law, Shang Zhanluo became the second strongest of all the demon gods due to a secret technique from his Asura demon race. In contrast to him, Sha Mo possessed pure brute strength, and the Asura Demon God would have lost completely to him if he had not used a secret technique.”

”Huanzi is right.” Nalan Shizhe waved her hand and created a qi screen, displaying the battle between the two demon gods as they fought for the status of the second strongest. ”As you can see for yourself, Shang Zhanluo almost lost the battle, but he managed to turn the situation around after he used his secret technique. Without it, he would never be able to become the second strongest among all demon gods. Therefore, you must be completely careful if you really want to go to the Heavenly Fiend Domain, and you must immediately escape from there if Sha Mo appears in front of you.”

Zhang Fei nodded to Nalan Shizhe as he seriously watched the battle between the two demon gods on the qi screen. ”Sha Mo’s brute strength is indeed terrifying, but I think he’s still weaker than Long Wuzhao.”

”Long Wuzhao is recognized as the strongest cultivator for a good reason, you know?” Nalan Shizhe removed the qi screen after the battle between the two demon gods was over. ”He is the only five-clawed golden dragon in this universe, and his dragon’s physique is the strongest. Therefore, you can’t compare Sha Mo with him, as the dragon emperor can easily defeat him.”

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei let out a soft sigh, but he was confident that he could match Long Wuzhao and Sha Mo in the future, as he was the only Calamity Demon Dragon in their universe, which had power equal to the five-clawed golden dragon. Moreover, he will evolve into the ten-tailed fox in the future, and the old fox was once a primordial being.

”Hehe.” Nalan Yushu giggled and hugged his arm. ”Once you reach the Celestial God Realm, the Demon God Rank, and evolve into the ten-tailed fox, there will be no one in this universe who can be your match.”

Zhang Fei just smiled when he heard that because it was still far beyond his reach. ”Let’s rest first, and we will continue our journey when the sun rises. I hope the Nine-Petal Phantom Soul Lotus has bloomed inside there.”
