Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1261: Fight The Other Two

”You’re wrong.” Shang Xijiao raised an eyebrow at Zhang Fei, who pointed at the bloody red figure behind him. ”This one is the embodiment of my bloodlust, and I have not used my killing intent.”

”Are you fucking kidding me?” Shang Xijiao asked in a loud, incredulous tone.

Zhang Fei shrugged his shoulders, but a jet-black figure suddenly appeared behind him, causing Shang Xijiao to fall dumbstruck.

’What the hell is with this brat!’ Shang Xijiao was visibly shaken by the appearance of the jet-black figure, which was the embodiment of Zhang Fei’s killing intent. ’His killing intent and bloodlust are far more intense than what he displayed when the Slaughter Blood Phantom appeared earlier!’

Below them, Shang Luohu and the other three asura guardians were also frightened by the two figures behind Zhang Fei, especially after they realized the origins of the two.

”Do you believe me now?” Zhang Fei asked casually.

Shang Xijiao nodded at Zhang Fei. ”How can you simultaneously manifest and restrain your killing intent and bloodlust?”

”The sword maniac, Jian Kuang, taught me to manifest both.” Shang Xijiao was surprised to hear that name from Zhang Fei. ”As for how I can restrain my killing intent and bloodlust, it’s because I use both every day, even when I sleep. Thus, it’s not difficult for me to restrain both, and I can use them whenever I want.”

Shang Xijiao furrowed his brows because Zhang Fei’s words really made no sense to him. It was impossible for a demon born from blood and battle like him to use killing intent and bloodlust while sleeping, and both of them would spiral out of control if he did that.

Zhang Fei shook his head slightly. ”Naturally, I didn’t succeed on the first try, and both went out of control when I tried it the first time. However, I kept repeating the process, and I managed to do it after decades of trying.”

”Decades, huh?” Shang Xijiao muttered to himself. ”You’re still in your early forties, and normal cultivators start cultivating at 16. However, you couldn’t use your bloodlust and killing intent at that time, and you need to reach a certain stage to be able to use them. Furthermore, your killing intent and bloodlust are abnormal, which proves that you’ve killed a lot in the past. According to my calculations, you’ve only mastered both for about two decades or slightly longer.”

”Unfortunately, you’re wrong about that, senior.” Shang Xijiao looked at Zhang Fei in disbelief. ”Believe it or not, I’ve been able to use my killing intent and bloodlust since my cultivation was in the Ten Mortal Realms, and I’ve continued to hone both of them to this day. I no longer remember how many living beings I’ve killed directly or indirectly because their number was too numerous; otherwise, my killing intent and bloodlust wouldn’t be this strong.”

Shang Xijiao didn’t doubt Zhang Fei because cultivators could only hone their killing intent and bloodlust through battle and killing, and he also used the same method to hone his.

However, Shang Xijiao doubted that Zhang Fei could have killed so many at such a young age; nevertheless, he could tell that his killing intent and bloodlust were much stronger than his own, indicating that he had killed far more than he had in the past. ”Aren’t you afraid that we or the others will kill you for exposing yourself like this?”

”Hahaha.” Zhang Fei laughed softly and canceled both. ”Naturally, I am aware of the risks, but I have decided not to hide anymore, and I will face anyone who comes to kill me. If all of you wanted to kill me, you guys would have done it from the start. However, it is too late because the Slaughter Blood Phantom is now on my side, and it will attack you if you try to kill me.”

”What a shameless brat!” Shang Xijiao grumbled. ”Let’s continue our fight.”

”Sure!”

In an instant, Zhang Fei and Shang Xijiao engaged in fierce combat once again, but he continued to gain the upper hand over the male asura demon, frustrating him.

After a long battle, Shang Xijiao decided to surrender, as he still couldn’t defeat Zhang Fei without his cultivation. He wanted to test his true strength, but Shang Luohu warned him not to, as the difference in their cultivation bases was too vast.

Thereafter, Shang Nanzhui took over Shang Xijao’s position to fight with Zhang Fei, but his situation was much better than his friend’s.

Zhang Fei did not underestimate Shang Nanzhui, and he used hit-and-run tactics, utilizing his speed and movement technique against the male asura demon, who was stronger and more agile than Shang Xijiao.

Despite this, Zhang Fei and Shang Nanshui’s fight ended in a draw, and both suffered bruises on several parts of their bodies.

Then, Zhang Fei continued to spar with Shang Beixuan, but the male asura demon was simply stronger than the previous two.

Shang Beixuan’s swift and powerful attacks overwhelmed Zhang Fei, forcing him to use his clone illusion steps as a distraction. Unfortunately, his efforts were in vain because the male asura demon could see through his illusions, and his hit-and-run tactics were also useless against him.

Zhang Fei used all his strength to fight his opponent, but Shang Beixuan always broke his attacks. He could feel that the male asura demon was deliberately limiting his strength in fighting him, making him realize the disparity between their strengths.

After they fought for a long time, Shang Beixuan decided to stop fighting Zhang Fei, as his body was already covered in bruises and blood from his attacks. ”You’re strong, kid. Unfortunately, I’m still much stronger than you, and I can kill you easily even without using my cultivation.”

”Thank you for your pointers, senior.” Zhang Fei immediately cleaned the blood off his body, but he felt quite sore all over. Fortunately, he possessed his passive regenerative healing factor, and the bruises on his body quickly disappeared, surprising Shang Luohu and the others.

Shang Beixuan simply nodded at Zhang Fei, and the two of them landed in front of each other.

Shang Dongzhu immediately spoke to Zhang Fei. ”Since you’re already overwhelmed by Beixuan, I won’t spar with you today. Once you can match or defeat him, you can come to this domain again to meet me, and we’ll have a hearty spar at that time.”

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei clenched his fists tightly. ’Sigh! My strength is still too weak to face old demons like them! If I’m this weak, I won’t be able to face Jia Zizhen, Mo Shentian, Jiu Mozu, and my other enemies. Furthermore, those four perils are stronger than them, and there’s still the Primordial Nihility Beast behind them. I can’t waste time relaxing, and I must continue to increase my strength; otherwise, I won’t be able to defeat them, and I will die by their hands.’

Since they were satisfied after witnessing Zhang Fei’s fighting prowess, Shang Dongzhu and the other three immediately left the Blood Sea.

Shang Luohu then asked Zhang Fei. ”Why don’t you return to your true form? My people won’t attack you as long as you stay here, so you don’t need to use your disguise anymore.”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei softly laughed and returned to his transcendent lust demon form. ”Are you satisfied, Empress Luohu?”

”Hmm?” Shang Luohu was surprised to see Zhang Fei’s nine tails, and she bent forward to look at them. ”How can you have nine tails? I’ve met many transcendent lust demons, but none of them have nine tails. Additionally, your demon rank hasn’t even risen to the Seven Supreme Demon Ranks, so your tails make me feel strange.”

Zhang Fei casually shrugged, as Shang Luohu wouldn’t be able to detect his beast bloodline. ”I don’t know how I got nine tails, but they appeared one by one every time my demon rank increased, and the number became nine after my demon rank reached Emperor Rank.”

”Hmm?” Shang Luohu naturally didn’t believe Zhang Fei, but she chose not to dwell on it and instead asked him a question. ”What are your plans next? Do you still want to cultivate in this Blood Sea? My husband allowed you to cultivate here as you please, and no one from our members will disturb you.”

”Yes.” Zhang Fei nodded at Shang Luohu. ”My main purpose in coming to this domain was to cultivate in this Blood Sea, but I also heard that the Blood Forest is very suitable for my training, so I plan to go there too. However, Tian Shuixiang told me that I cannot go in and out of that place freely, and I need permission to enter there.”

”Is Tian Shuixiang Shang Xiuluo’s current name?”

”That’s right, and he prefers to use that name rather than Shang Xiuluo.”

Shang Luohu nodded in understanding and handed Zhang Fei a token. ”Show this token to the guards in the Blood Forest, and they won’t stop you from entering. However, you must be careful inside, as the place is infested with bloodthirsty beasts, and some of them are no less powerful than Shang Dongzhu.”

”Thank you.” Zhang Fei gladly received the token, and he was not the least bit worried about those bloodthirsty beasts, as he was sure that none of them were mythical beasts.

Shang Luohu nodded to Zhang Fei, and she immediately flew away after him, but she glanced back at him several times, curious about his nine tails.

”Do you want to go to that forest now?” Nalan Wangzi asked.
