Chapter 544: 527: SSS-Level DefenseChapter 544: Chapter 527: SSS-Level Defense

After splitting up with Draco and his group, Mu Ying had Little Stone form a spacious little square.

Little Stone had consumed enough stone, so a small square was just a slightly larger stone house, which was easy to form.

To make it a private combat arena, they just needed to thicken the foundation and the walls, and increase the height a bit. It was just an open combat arena, and the ceiling had many Permanent Light Lantern Vines for illumination.

The entire arena was completely enclosed, with no external entrances. Only those whom Mu Ying granted teleportation access could enter.

The next day, Mu Ying sent Draco and his group the teleport coordinates and opened the teleport permissions.

In addition to Draco, Atom, Edwin, and Xie Sen, Li Luoxia, Zheng Jing, Liu Luoluo, along with Gungun, Da Ming, and others, also came.

Li Luoxia voluntarily took on the task of healing after the battle, and Zheng Jing came to act as a translator.

Mu Ying and Draco were in the middle of the arena, while the others went to the corners.

“I’ll just use my strongest defensive form, the Brown Bear, to try close combat with you. My close combat skills are really not that great, so please bear with me,” Mu Ying said.

She wasn’t being modest—her Brown Bear form was learned from the big Brown Bear in the orchard. She had managed to learn the Brown Bear’s habits almost completely, but her combat skills weren’t great.

During the period she learned them, the wild animals around the orchard had already been frightened by the Brown Bear, only the Wolf Pack would occasionally come to spar.

Mu Ying had seen it many times, but she hadn’t mastered the Brown Bear’s combat skills; she had only learned the basics since the Brown Bear had only allowed her to stay nearby to observe and hadn’t let her get too close, let alone teach her thoroughly.

The Wolf Form, on the other hand, had better close combat skills because Da Hui and the others were from her own pack, and she had participated in the hunting with the pack when she was learning.

“Okay!” Draco readily agreed, not minding that Mu Ying wasn’t going all out in the battle.

After all, he too was aware of his own shortcomings—his attack range was too small. Strong attack power and defensive power are useless if you can’t get close enough to hit someone.

If Mu Ying were to fight with all her might, she would just have to keep her distance, which wouldn’t be hard for her at all considering her speed item had reached “S” and she had all those spells. Keeping a distance would be easy.

If that were the case, then sparring with her like this would have no meaning.

His purpose wasn’t to compete with Mu Ying to see who was stronger or weaker, but rather to see to what extent Mu Ying’s SSS- defense item had developed. So her using her strongest defensive form, the Brown Bear, was perfect for him.

“Come on!”

Mu Ying took a step forward.

A slender and pretty girl blinked and transformed into a strong and imposing big Brown Bear.

The tall and burly Draco, who initially had to slightly look down to see Mu Ying, now had to look up slightly at the upright big Brown Bear.

“Wow!”

The four spectators were astounded.

Edwin enviously said, “The Druid’s transformation is so cool!”

“The Lord’s Brown Bear form is quite the beauty among bears. No wonder the big guy has been smitten for so long!” Xie Sen spilled a big secret.

“Wait, what did you say?” Edwin felt like he heard something he shouldn’t have.

“You know, the big Brown Bear from the orchard up north...”

“Roar!” Mu Ying couldn’t help but call out to the audience.

Doesn’t she care about losing face?

Xie Sen touched his nose.

Liu Luoluo, all agog, said, “Wait, what is the Lord talking about?”

Xie Sen dared not say. However, Zheng Jing, who could talk with animals, sabotaged him by saying, “She said shut up!”

“Hahaha!” Liu Luoluo took pleasure in Xie Sen’s misfortune. “That’s what you get for blabbering, you got yelled at!”

Edwin leaned closer to Xie Sen and whispered, “Tell us more about it later, brother.”

“Look! They’re fighting now!” Li Luoxia alerted everyone.

As not to cause irreparable damage, Draco used no heavy axe but only wore a pair of gloves.

After Mu Ying transformed into a bear, she responded to all changes by standing still, making a pose as if to attack and waiting for him to approach.

Draco didn’t hesitate and threw a punch with about seventy percent of his strength right away.

His speed wasn’t fast and his movements were quick, Mu Ying could have dodged, but at first, she wanted to test her defensive power against his strength, so she also swung towards his approaching fist.

Now as a brown bear, with the addition of the wild tooth feature of the Natural Bracelet, her strength and strength attribute were comparable to a human with seventeen or eighteen points, different from her weak form in human shape.

Mu Ying genuinely felt the impact from her bear claw and took half a step back.

However, it was only a slight numbness in her paw, with no injury sustained.

Draco also noticed her strength was indeed not low. He looked around as if nothing much had happened. But his stance was very stable, he didn’t move, and quickly kicked out his leg, but this time it missed.

Mu Ying caught his movement, but she hadn’t steadied herself yet. She tried to dodge forward with her front paws but wasn’t quick enough, and her hind leg got swept.

It was a solid kick, and Mu Ying felt its force, even heavier than the punch earlier; she nearly got knocked over by the pain. Although it hurt, it didn’t affect her much; she rolled on the spot to steady herself. Realizing she had no advantage in standing combat with Draco, she changed her strategy, went down on all fours, turned around, and lunged back at him.

In no time, the man and the bear exchanged several blows, punches landing on flesh, incredibly primitive and brutal.

“That’s too rough!” Edwin felt as if he were watching a beast fight.

“The Lord doesn’t seem to have the upper hand, always being pressured. The disadvantage is very obvious; it seems she was serious when she said she’s bad at close combat,” Xie Sen said.

“Seems like the Lord isn’t very familiar with the brown bear’s combat style. During the New Year’s animal sports meet, the brown bear from the orchard was really strong,” Zheng Jing expressed some concern.

The only two priests present, Li Luoxia and Liu Luoluo exchanged glances, feeling like they were the only sober ones amongst the drunk.

“Guess who has lost more blood now?” Liu Luoluo couldn’t help asking.

“Definitely the Lord, she’s been hit by several punches, kicked flying two or three times, while Draco only exchanged one palm strike with her and was pushed back once,” Edwin said without hesitation.

Liu Luoluo rolled her eyes: “I checked with my priest skills, the Lord’s blood volume is still at 100%, Draco is at 96%.”

Edwin’s face was full of disbelief: “How is that possible!”

Xie Sen and Atom were also astonished, turning to Li Luoxia: “Really?”

Li Luoxia nodded, “The Lord’s SSS-grade defense item is really overpowered!”

The others looked on in utter shock.
