I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 541: 524: Hit OnceChapter 541: Chapter 524: Hit Once

Previously, she hadn’t carefully compared them, but now upon reflection, Mu Ying realized she was much stronger than she had imagined.

According to Mu Ying’s understanding, normally, every profession has its strengths and weaknesses.

For instance, warriors excel in physical attacks, mages in magic attacks, barbarians in defense, wanderers in speed, and priests in support ability; aside from their strengths, other areas are weak points, or even completely lacking.

Then there are professions like the bard and the forest patrol, which might excel slightly in a few areas but are not adept in others.

Averaging out all aspects, you get the druid.

In fact, overall, all professions are similar, each with its own characteristics and areas of expertise.

There’s no high or low in professions, but each person’s talent varies, determined by factors such as attributes and bloodlines.

Apart from professions like the druid, who are jacks of all trades with all aspects being grade B, that’s considered a normal level of talent.

For other professions with standout features, a normal talent’s standout item is generally considered grade A, ranging from A- to A+; for those with lesser talent, the standout feature grades below A; while for those with great talent, the standout feature grades are super A, reaching S level.

Professionals like Draco and Vinica are considered to have excellent professional talent, with standout features all being super A.

Not just them, but basically, those in the upper echelons of world rankings generally have decent talent in their professions.

However, if a professional feature is stronger, its weaknesses become more distinct, the better ones perhaps being grade C or below, and the worse ones showing complete ineptitude in those aspects.

Such as support abilities for professions like warriors and barbarians.

However, these apply to professionals who are not trialists. Those with the status of trialists are somewhat special, as they have opportunities to access various cultivation systems to compensate for their professional weaknesses, thus their combined combat power score tends to have an advantage.

Take Draco; after exchanging bandage skills with Li Luoxia, he who previously had no support abilities can now use this skill to quickly stop bleeding and heal himself, and his support item score has reached F.

Then there’s Li Luoxia, who exchanged crosshair skills with Mu Ying and enchanted her bow with infinite arrows, lifting her attack item to B-.

But none of them are as extraordinary as Mu Ying, with both her defense item and speed item being super A, and her attack item also at A.

Although her support item is still at B+, that’s because the support category is vast. Although she knows a little of everything, she is still somewhat biased, with healing, detoxification, agility support, and flying support already reaching grade A.

The remaining strength, constitution, intelligence, perception, and charm support are still at B, which held her back, but these support abilities are not commonly used by her.

Mu Ying, comparing herself against names on the Talent List and global rankings, understood that reaching A in one or two items as a druid is comparable to other professions reaching S, considered to be good talent.

Looking at her own ratings, Mu Ying suddenly felt that, at least compared to native players from Deep Blue Star, she was indeed very strong. As long as her level doesn’t hold her back, her comprehensive combat power is consistently the strongest, with virtually no weak points.

Her weak spots are only relative to her own strong points, but that might not necessarily be the case in combat against others.

Because her defense item is significantly strong, it can completely compensate for any lack in her attack item.

However, if she were to move away from the territories around her frequently overseen land, the effect of Guardian Armor would not be evident, and then her defense item might not be as strong as it is now, at most around an A level, similar to her attack item.

Although the statistics on the Talent List are quite comprehensive, using data rankings alone to represent someone’s actual combat abilities is clearly insufficient.

Because this was just static data, true combat ability could only be demonstrated in battle.

Honestly, Mu Ying really wanted to set up an arena in the territory and then organize arena fights to rank combat abilities.

But it wasn’t just about having a venue; there were many other needs, such as safety issues.

Arena battles were meant to test and train real combat skills, not to fight to the death.

How to avoid injuries, or even life-threatening situations, was a big problem. Mu Ying had no solution and could only mention it to Little Stone in passing.

However, Little Stone’s growth was not according to her will but according to the emotional power it received, and there were many variables.

Mu Ying could only make the facilities in the Crystal Underground City focus more on enhancing strength or testing combat power, but she couldn’t decide what special buildings would emerge afterward.

“Sigh, Little Stone, it’s all on you,” Mu Ying pinched the squishy Little Stone in her hand.

Her hand warmed slightly, the pattern of the Territory Internal Network appeared, someone was contacting her.

She opened it and saw that several group chats were quite lively.

This morning, she had already announced in the work group that she was out of seclusion. However, now that the territory’s affairs had already been set on the right track, nothing requiring her decision had occurred in half a month. After reading the territory affairs report sent by Furris, there were no further issues. At the moment, they were also chatting about the Talent List in the groups, just cheering that she had reclaimed the top position on the Talent List.

The Trialists’ group was much quieter; Vinica, Maz, Chisima Keiko had all left Qingshan City.

The real reason for contacting her was Draco; he sent her a private message.

Draco, “Lord, let’s have a fight. I want to see how big the gap between us is!”

Mu Ying raised an eyebrow and replied, “How do you want to fight?”

At that moment, Edwin also poked her privately, “Lord, you’re incredible, even surpassing Gonggong in defense items. He found that even his strong points are inferior to yours, which stoked his fighting spirit!”

Mu Ying understood, “Are you still with him?”

Edwin, “We are with Xie Sen, Atom at the adventurer square watching the Talent List!”

Mu Ying looked down, but the crowd was too big to locate anyone.

She thought for a moment and sent coordinates to Edwin, Draco, Atom, and Xie Sen, asking them to teleport directly onto her Flying Carpet. She had set up Soundproof Magic on the Flying Carpet, so she simply called them up to chat.

Though the Flying Carpet wasn’t particularly large, it was enough to seat five people.

Mu Ying also put away Little Stone’s Avatar.

In the crowd, Xie Sen frowned at the coordinates, “These coordinates seem to be in...”

Four of them looked up, but there was clearly nothing above them.

“Hehe, maybe there’s some secret room exclusive to the Lord up there. We can’t miss this chance; let’s go!” Edwin rubbed his hands together.
