Chapter 506: 489 Perfect ExplorationChapter 506: Chapter 489 Perfect Exploration

“???” Draco’s face was full of confusion. “No, it was the same as the first Trial World; I entered directly into the body of the character without any additional information! Do you have extra information?”

Mu Ying nodded: “At the beginning, I had three optional characters with identity information, Race, and compatibility marked. After selecting and entering a character, I even retained the character’s previous memories.”

“Are we even in the same Ten Thousand Worlds Trial? Why is there such a huge difference?” Draco felt even more uncomfortable.

He thought everyone was in the same situation, but now he realized that he was the only one like this!

“This could also be the difference between perfect exploration and just meeting the Source Power requirements,” Maz said. “Perfect exploration is so difficult; the rewards should indeed be very generous.”

Draco: “...”

Suddenly, he regretted rushing into the Second Trial World. The debts he owed from the First Trial World were now coming back to haunt him in the Second Trial World.

The others had similar thoughts.

However, even lusting after perfect exploration wasn’t enough to make up for their total lack of clues on how to explore their own Trial Worlds.

“Forget it, there was no choice. Every time I entered my First Trial World, it would refresh. Mining depended on luck, and there was hardly any progress. I really don’t know how to achieve perfect exploration,” Draco consoled himself. At least he had earned some time back. Thinking of it that way made him feel much better.

“My perfect exploration should involve completing and clearing the Tower,” Li Luoxia said. “After I accumulate 5,000 Source Power, I’ll try to explore a few more floors.”

Characters could be resurrected, which indeed gave them some hope, but they didn’t have too many chances. The more times they died, the lower the efficiency of their Source Power gains became.

“You can take the basic laws and data of the Tower World and find someone skilled in calculation or strategy games in real life to help you calculate the best strategies. You can’t just try blindly,” Mu Ying suggested.

In her Trial World, every step had to be carefully considered to have any hope of progressing further.

“Right!” realized Li Luoxia.

She had already been planning her strategies for the Trial in real life, but she wasn’t as young anymore, and her mind wasn’t as quick. Her teammates had also contributed ideas; otherwise, she would’ve hit a dead end long ago and wouldn’t have lasted until now.

If she was going to ask for help, why not seek out professionals?

She immediately brought up the Territory Internal Network and posted a bounty on the territory’s forum.

Seeing Li Luoxia, whose Trial World difficulties seemed the most frustrating, finding a way out, Edwin quickly said, “What about me, what about me? Do I just have to keep competing in matches?”

“I suspect your perfect exploration might be reaching the highest level in the competition,” Mu Ying subtly hinted.

“Impossible. Every time I win a difficult match and go up One Star, the difficulty increases in the next round, and I lose and fall right back down!” Edwin complained, “I’m tormented every day in the Trial World!”

“Don’t you have many characters to use? Maybe you should study each character’s Skill properties, see if there is any counteraction between them, and then practice more to get the handle of it,” Mu Ying said.

She felt extremely fortunate to have drawn Square World. If it were a puzzle strategy game based on the Magic Tower or a competitive game based on something like Honor of Kings, then even though she would know the game’s narrative, reaching perfect exploration wouldn’t be easy.

The difficulty of Square World lies in the fact that without knowing the tricks, there’s a high chance of early death, risking the entire Trial World being closed due to the character’s death. Caution is needed at all times.

“Restraint effect?” Edwin was inspired; this was indeed a direction to consider.

Seeing this, others realized that Mu Ying did have her unique insights into exploring Trial Worlds. No wonder she could perfectly explore both the First and Second Trial Worlds!

Everyone wanted to perfectly explore their own Trial Worlds, and Vinica couldn’t help but share her own situation:

“In my Trial World, besides a road that seems endless, I can’t go anywhere else; it’s as if something is blocking me. Gold Coins are just picked up along the road; I touch them and they turn into points, and can also be physically transformed. However, they are not very useful; shopkeepers won’t accept them when I try to buy things, so I can only recycle them as ordinary gold.

Every time I enter the Trial World, a very strange monster appears behind me. I’ve tried countless times, using various methods, but I can’t kill it. I always get bitten to death by it.”

Vinica had been bitten to death so many times that she was nearly traumatized: “It’s too strong. If I have to kill it to pass, then I really have no hope.”

Mu Ying understood right away: wasn’t this just like a parkour game? In a parkour game, what’s the point of picking a fight with the monster chasing you? Is this girl a bit of a fighter?

“Uh, is there a possibility that the monster is unkillable? Since there’s only a road for you to take, perhaps you need to run faster to escape from the monster’s pursuit?”

Vinica: (キ`゚Д゚ ́)!!

“Monsters can also be left undefeated? But it’s chasing me!” Vinica said, her confidence waning.

“Why don’t you try again later, as I suggested?” Mu Ying said.

Vinica nodded; she already had a feeling that Mu Ying was right. After all, the road was so long! If it weren’t for the monster being so aggressive and scaring her out of her wits, she wouldn’t have become so fixated on trying to kill it before exploring the road!

The second person to speak was Chisima Keiko:

“My Trial World is a large square with square indentations, and on the stone platform at the edge of the square, gemstone blocks of various shapes appear each time.

The gemstone blocks can only be placed into the indentations on the square. At first, I thought it was like building blocks, moving the gemstone blocks onto the square and constructing various shapes, which soon became boring.

Later, I accidentally discovered that filling a row would clear it and grant me points, so I understood how the game was supposed to be played.

After each round, reaching a certain number of points would reward different amounts of Source Power.

But the gemstone blocks are really heavy, and the square is very large. It’s quite troublesome to move back and forth, and each game takes a lot of time—it seems endless.

How could I possibly perform a perfect exploration? The square can never be fully filled.”

Isn’t this just like gemstone Tetris? The square can’t be filled entirely; it must be about the difference in scores, right?

“I think this might be similar to Edwin’s scenario. Maybe you need to reach a certain score to be considered to have explored,” Mu Ying said.

There was not much else she could suggest. Gemstone Tetris that required moving the pieces manually was really exhausting; Chisima Keiko’s situation was indeed a pitfall, with her performing hard labor in the Trial World.

Chisima Keiko looked expectantly at Maz and Atom, “What about yours?”

Was there anyone more miserable than her? Speak up and give her something to be glad about?
