I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 540: 523: Is there someone?Chapter 540: Chapter 523: Is there someone?

There was a long queue at every test house, but Mu Ying didn’t have to line up honestly, nor did she have to cut in line.

She glanced at the interface of the Underground City.

“...Test house (20/23)...”

In this period, the limit for test houses had increased by three.

After finishing her noodles and parting with Edwin and the others, Mu Ying teleported first to the Plantation to check on Little Stone’s main body and asked it to build three more test houses; after that, she teleported to test house number 21 and began her project testing.

...

Crystal Underground City, adventurer square, test house area.

Jing Jiang had just gotten his number at test house number 20 when he turned his head and saw a new, deep corridor next to him. It startled him, as he was about to head to the tomb exploration area in search of treasures.

If it weren’t for the bright light from the Lamp Vine overhead, he would have thought it was haunted.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out that three new test houses had been opened.

Feeling lucky, but before he could cancel his number at test house number 20, other people waiting behind him had already hurried over to take their places, and he ended up falling behind.

In a moment, the numbers for the three new test houses had already queued up to 5 and 6, and he managed to get number 7 for test house number 21.

However, this number was already quite advanced; he’d be up in a little over an hour, so he decided to wait there. He couldn’t wait to find out if his recent training was successful.

The first “contestants” for test houses numbers 22 and 23 had already entered their respective houses.

The person second in line outside test house number 21 nudged the person in front of him, “Bro, you spacing out? Get in there!”

“Didn’t you notice I’m number two? There’s already someone inside!”

“Wait, weren’t you the first one?”

“How come number 21 already has someone inside from the start? I didn’t see anyone go in before us, did you?”

Not just him, but no one else had seen it; everyone was certain of it, because there would have been a very clear noise from the Stone Gate opening, so for the time being, they all fixed their gaze on that door.

“Could someone have teleported in?”

“Aren’t you only supposed to be able to teleport out of the test houses, not in?”

“What kind of person could break this rule and already be teleported inside the moment the test house appears?”

A name was on the tip of everyone’s tongue.

Jing Jiang learned from his earlier mistake and was the first to dash out to the square, securing a vantage point where he could see the Talent List. He intently watched a particular name.

Ten minutes later, the name moved.

“First! First! The Lord is first on the overall list again!” Jing Jiang yelled.

But by then, it wasn’t just him paying attention to that name; his voice was drowned out by the crowd.

“Fourth in Attack Item, first in Defense, second in Support List, second in speed item, and first on the overall list!”

“Who says Druids get weaker later on? I want that kind of ‘weakness’!”

“Defense is stronger than the First Barbarian Warrior, support is only slightly weaker than the First Priest, speed is just a bit behind the First Wanderer, and even the worst ranking, the attack, is fourth place, barely behind those professions that specialize in attacks! Weak my foot!”

“In the subcategory of physical attack, I’m just a little behind Draco and Atom, and for magic attack, only behind Maz, but it’s only our Lord whose physical and magical attacks both rank at the forefront. When it really comes down to combat, it’s not clear who has the stronger attack power!”

“The Lord’s Level Progress hasn’t changed at all, which means she has been at this level for some time now! The rumors were right, the previous data was outdated!”

“I really want to see her detailed scores! Are each of the sub-rankings this impressive?”

“Hahaha, all those naysayers on the forum must be feeling pretty embarrassed now!”

“I’ve noticed something, when comparing players of the same level, except for the defense, our Lord’s other three aspects are not quite as strong as those of the top Talent players, but rounding up, she still has the highest Comprehensive Combat Power. Even the First Barbarian Warrior, whose strong suit is defense, has to be one level higher to outrank her in defense by one place. This suggests that defense must be the Lord’s strongest point, absolutely Super A!”

“Is Druid the strongest in defense?”

“There’s this Druid called Mu Ying, speaking from personal experience; a regular Druid would have B- for attack, B- for defense, B- for support, and B- for speed, each aspect somewhat weaker than the strong points of other professions of the same level, typically by one or two levels. However, when you combine all four aspects, they can compete with others of the same level. So there’s no ‘strongest profession’, it all just boils down to different strengths.”

...

Mu Ying had finished her tests and was now sitting on a Magic Flying Carpet, floating above adventurer square, comparing her test results with the data of the top contenders on the Talent List, all the while listening to the compliments of the Local People.

“Mu Ying, Level 9 Druid.

1. Attack Item: Physical 43A(4), Magic 43A(4), Overall A(4).

2. Defense: Physical 56SSS-(1), Magic 56SSS-(1), Overall SSS-(1).

3. Support List: Healing 45A+(2), Detoxification 41A-(2), Strength 38B(3), Physical 38B(3), Dexterity 41A-(3), Intelligence 38B(3), Perception 38B(3), Charisma 38B(3), Flying 41A-(1). Overall B+(2).

4. Speed Item: Move Speed 46S-(2), Attack Speed 46S-(2), Overall S-(2)

Combat Power Score: 648(1)

Evaluation of overall combat power at this level: S+(1)

Note: The combat power scoring system is out of 1500 points, with each item’s maximum score being 100 points, and the maximum score for overall combat power at each level equals the level times 5 times 15, while the maximum score for each level’s item score equals the level times 5. The numbers in brackets are the rankings for that item.

Compared to the last time, the most improved were the defense and speed items, with the former rising from SS+ to SSS- and the latter from A+ to S-.

The scores for the other items had only risen normally due to higher levels, and the evaluations had not changed significantly.

Mu Ying wasn’t too surprised; the increase in her defense was due to her continuous patrolling of the forest, where her Guardian Armor’s defensive power had greatly improved.

The improvement in speed came from training with Furris and Layla, learning to harness her inherent Elven talents and utilizing support magic to boost her speed, which now ranks just slightly below the First Wanderer Atom, whose move speed and attack speed are both one point higher at 47S-.

Atom had reached the same level as her, now also at Level 9.

As you go higher, the Experience needed for each level increases significantly, making the time required to break through to the next level longer. That’s why the leveling speed for higher-level players may appear to have slowed down.

The top six players are all at Level 9, while the top eighteen are all above Level 8.

Players like Draco, Vinica, Atom, Maz, and Li Luoxia actually have excellent Professional Talents, with S rankings in their respective strong points.

For example, Draco is S- in the subcategory of physical attack and S in defense; Vinica has an S- in magic defense; Atom is S- in speed; Maz has an S in the magic attack subcategory; and Li Luoxia has an S in support.
