I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 235 - 235 232 Glass Greenhouse235: Chapter 232: Glass Greenhouse 235: Chapter 232: Glass Greenhouse The next day, when she came out again, a group of Sky Wolves were squatting at the door, staring at her eagerly.

“Ao ao!”

What was going on this time?

Mu Ying cast an animal conversation spell on herself.

“What?

You guys want the High-level Magic Claw too?”

“There’s another group of Sky Wolves, larger in numbers than you, provoking you?”

Da Hui nodded, “Ao~!”

Alright, this would help her test the combat effectiveness of the High-level Magic Claw, since the mermaids had only played in the water yesterday.

“It’s the same, you can only use it nine times,” Mu Ying said.

Nine of the strongest Sky Wolves stepped forward.

Mu Ying cast the High-level Magic Claw on each one of them.

More noticeably than the mermaids, the Sky Wolves with the High-level Magic Claw became stronger, their teeth and claws sharper.

“Aowu~” At Da Hui’s command, he led his underlings to find a battleground.

Mu Ying wasn’t too worried about their safety.

Previously, the challenges they faced only provoked them and didn’t cause any severe damage, and now that they were stronger, they were even less likely to encounter any serious issues.

Having used up all her Mana Value early, Mu Ying resignedly went back to her research on magic potions.

“It worked!” This was Mu Ying’s first attempt today, and she had actually succeeded.

The magic potion exhibited a normal, translucent color.

She quickly recorded the ratio and the timing of the ingredients used.

She tested this mixture a second time.

“Bang~” It failed again.

But this time, the problem wasn’t with the formula; she had been close to success, got a little unstable mentally, and accidentally added too much of the last ingredient.

Wiping her face, she took a deep breath, and started her third attempt at the potion.

This time, it finally succeeded.

Still not satisfied, only after succeeding three times in a row did Mu Ying finally sigh in relief, content that it was a success.

After numerous experiments and attempts initially, she wasn’t without gains.

At least she now knew the Permanent Magic Potion by heart.

Once she confirmed the ratios, her success rate was incredibly high.

Overjoyed, she brewed many bottles and stored them in a super-large glass jar.

Tao Hua, Bo He, and Iron Bamboo helped her pick the Lamp Vine.

Mu Ying put all of it in the glass jar, sealed it, and buried it next to the Lamp Vine.

After an entire day of making magic potions, she managed to process all the recently cultivated Lamp Vine.

With these flowers, the red packets she could give out during the New Year became even richer.

The Lamp Vine was a new plant species she had cultivated herself.

When grown in the real world, like the Binding Vine, it also earned her a reward from nature, increasing her Experience Value by 300 points.

With her continuous cultivation and the experience gained over this period, her progress at level 6 had increased significantly.

[Profession: Druid Lv6 (1005/2100)]

But the experience cap for level 6 was so high that she hadn’t even reached half of it yet, and reaching the limit of level 6 would take a long time.

By now, she had almost learned all the spells of the third circle, only left with Magic Dispel, Fire Extinguishing Skill, and Fake Death Technique.

She took out the three spells again and looked them over, preparing to pick another to learn.

Magic Dispel could be used to remove certain spell effects from creatures or objects within casting range, like the Tree Skin Skill, Divine Movement Technique, Spider Walk Skill, and Enhanced Attributes etc.

These amplifying spells could be forcibly terminated by someone using Magic Dispel, and High-level Magic Claw was also among them.

It was a useful spell, but since Mu Ying currently encountered few spellcasters as enemies and since most player mages, having saved up money, would first consider spells with strong attack power, this kind of supportive spell was seldom learned by mages, even Mage Armor was rarely mastered.

That’s why Mu Ying hadn’t been in a hurry to learn this spell.

As for the Fire Extinguishing Skill, as the name implies, it was used for extinguishing fires.

It was most effective against ordinary flames like forest fires, which could be resolved with one cast of the Fire Extinguishing Skill, but it was not as strong against flames caused by spell effects, only able to suppress them slightly, and it could also cause some damage to Fire Element creatures.

It was also because she temporarily didn’t need it that it was placed at the end of her spell learning list.

The last one, Fake Death Technique, could turn a willing creature into a stiff, death-like state through contact casting, and this state provided strong resistance to all damage except mental.

Before, she thought it wasn’t useful because it could only be used on others, and since she always acted alone, rarely facing crises with others.

Looking at it now, she realized that during the fake death state, the effects of diseases and poison also temporarily paused until one was roused from the fake-death state.

This point made it much more useful as a life-saving spell.

Mu Ying picked out this spell and began to read it carefully.

However, she was out of Mana at the moment and couldn’t practice, so she could only learn about the spell theory.

These few spells, if learned continuously for more than half a month, would be mostly covered, but gaining Experience Value would be much more difficult.

Now that it was winter, many plants were not suitable for planting at this time, making experience even harder to obtain.

However, she did not plan to wait until next spring to figure things out.

She opened the territory page and began designing new blueprints.

[Facility: Glass Greenhouse]

[Function: Semi-transparent greenhouse, insulation]

[Scale: Depends on the amount of materials used during construction]

[Required Materials: Glass, Iron, Energy]

[Blueprint Transformation Requirement: 300]

She didn’t have glass, but she did have iron.

Mu Ying transformed the blueprint, first building a small greenhouse of around 50 square meters in her own plantation, then building a larger one at the public farm.

Then she dialed Lin Shang’s Dingling Flower.

“Hello?

Did you see the greenhouse?

You can arrange it, plant some vegetables or something,” Mu Ying said.

“Got it!

The work has increased again, not considering a raise?” The voice of Lin Shang came from the Dingling Flower.

‘I’ll allocate a bit of the greenhouse to you, you can do some research on your own.

With such a greenhouse, the Experience Value that has been stagnant lately can increase, right?” Mu Ying said, as for the raise, maybe wait for a while, the territory although quite affluent recently, was all reserved for future crises.

“Sigh, having a Druid boss is tough, how do you know everything?” Lin Shang murmured.

Mu Ying hung up the phone irritably.

She began working busily in her own greenhouse.

With this greenhouse, she planned to cultivate some saplings, and once they grew enough, she’d transfer them to the seedling grass basket, so that by next spring, they could be directly planted.

Although with her current level, planting a few trees yielded minuscule Experience, but as the saying goes, every little bit helps; she needed to accumulate from all aspects.

She hadn’t made much progress on her initial idea to expand the forest a bit!

Now her Perception of natural power had sharpened quite a bit.

She knew it wasn’t just trees, but also flowers, birds, beasts, and even humans that bore traces of natural power, yet trees still held the densest natural power among all entities.

So, no matter where she went, tree planting was always a job that a Druid could never put aside.
