My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 2998 -998: Spread Love, Not Hate (Part 3)

“In the past, you served a World-Destroying Organization, an act of unequivocal evil from any perspective, and you have been severely punished, yet resurrected with a pure body crafted by the creator.

Perhaps destiny intends to give you a second chance, to let you freely decide what kind of stance you will take in this world.

I will not interfere with your choices, Penny, I just feel that your power should be used in a more suitable place.

As for you, Bertie…”

He looked at his Blood Descendant and said:

“Penny is now a blank slate, she only trusts you, so her future direction depends on what kind of knowledge and emotions you instill in her. From your eyes, I can see your care for Penny and that hidden love.

Thus, I would advise you, give her love, not hatred!

The first mistake might have been my fault, but repeating it would be too foolish. Who turned Penny and you into what you are now, I believe you already have the answer in your heart.”

Murphy glanced at his mechanical pocket watch and said:

“I have to fulfill a Dog Planner’s duty now, what was promised to be an epilogue evolved into a crisis war, my exotic little darlings have gotten into quite a mess, you see, I accidentally did something wrong and now I have to find a way to apologize to them.

Sarifov Shadowblade will definitely come to find you.

I won’t stop you from leaving with him if you choose to return to that dark life of heretics, maybe you’ll think I’m being hypocritical saying this.

But the fact is, you now have another chance to decide your own future…

Seize it, don’t waste it.

Of course, if in the future we are destined to reunite on the battlefield as enemies, don’t expect me to show mercy, and by the way, tell the Slave Master to wash his neck and be ready!

Lady Rose is furious about the destruction of Mejewa City, and the wrath of the God of the Abyss will ultimately be executed by me in justice.”

——————-

“Thank you for your hard work, Slave Master.”

In some hidden place, Old Bach, who had just opened his eyes and climbed out of the biological pod, was getting dressed while speaking to Sarifov Shadowblade standing in front of him:

“Originally, I thought it was just a simple search and transport job, but I didn’t expect it to evolve like this with Murphy’s intervention. However, fortunately, we’ve found what we were looking for.”

“Are you sure?”

Sarifov Shadowblade played with a Shadow Spider’s Fang dagger, looking at the freshly cloned Old Bach with a gaze of death, and said:

“What about my disciple? And what do you plan to do about Penny and Bertie? I left them in your care, and you promised to take care of them! Is this how you did it?”

“I fulfilled the promise, Sarifov, Penny is alive again, stronger and purer than before, and free from mortal danger.”

Old Bach blinked and said:

“Although there was a slight problem at the end of the consciousness encoding, it’s nothing irreparable, your disciple has abandoned weakness and just needs you to go and bring her back.

As for Bertie’s case, I’m sorry I couldn’t take good care of him.

But it’s okay!

You already know I can encode souls, so that so-called unsolvable Blood Covenant of the vampire is a joke now, bring him back, and I’ll accomplish a ‘mechanical ascension’ for Bertie as well, like I did for Penny.

But now, I must ask you to leave, Sarifov.

I have to immediately restart the response to the Life Project, I’ve waited too long for this, we’ve all waited too long.

Go.

Board your Shuttlecraft, bring your disciples back, I assure you, you will see them again soon, and if you don’t like that pure mechanical body, I can also clone new bodies for them, just like mine.

You have seen with your own eyes, I have this capability.”

“You should hope so.”

Sarifov put away the dagger and vanished into the darkness, while Old Bach let out a sigh of relief, the feeling of being targeted by such an assassin was terrible. He rubbed his neck and quickly walked towards the master AI computing unit, which had been transported down from the Flyshuttle and connected in front of the Life Project control platform.

During the time he was being re-cloned, Resurrection His Excellency was diligently unlocking the response code, and had already completed 95% by now.

Looking down from the platform where the Scholar stood, the entire massive body of the Life Project lay quietly beneath the earth like a sleeping city, resembling a true mechanical labyrinth.

No one had ever gazed upon this miracle as closely as the Scholar had, nor understood what kind of impact starting this project again would have on the world.

“As I said, what the creator could not accomplish, I will personally advance!”

Old Bach watched the unlock progress bar advance to 99%, and the excitement in his heart was beyond words. The moment the 100% information popped up, the entire sleeping Life Project seemed to come alive.

Response codes unlocked.

Authorization verification starting…authenticating…Welcome back! Controller of the Life Project.

Biological repository data infusion…Laboratory system coming online…Life spilling program self-checking…Beep! Special directive detected…Authorization validated as “Hand of the Creator”!

Authorization transfer…

Directive: Format all currently detectable low and medium-level authorization drivers received…Preparing to execute!

“???”

The Scholar stared in shock at this suddenly sprung-up prompt, hardly having time to think, but the mere word “format” made him feel disaster was imminent.

“Stop! I command you!”

The Scholar screamed, losing all previous composure, and the resurrection program immediately sensed something wrong and forcibly attempted to terminate the code response within a second.

But it was too late.

The data meme program personally written by the sentinel, at the moment it took effect, was replicated countless times in a quantum entanglement manner and delivered to all targets subject to the format directive, and the just-awakened Life Project lay back down like a lazy man rolling over, returning to slumber.

But the Scholar wasn’t the unluckiest one.

Outside in the dark night sky, the Slave Master, sitting in the cockpit pondering how to advance the plan next, was stunned for a moment, seeing the control panel of the fully automatic Shuttlecraft flicker weirdly before popping up the message “main control program format completed…good luck to the passengers,” and then all the indicator lights went off.

Then, this cool spaceship plummeted straight down from tens of thousands of meters high like a powerless bird, aiming directly for the ground.

This was the “surprise” Murphy had prepared for them.

As he said, the era of swinging the stolen great sword proudly…has ended.
