My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 2997 -998: Spread Love, Not Hatred (2)

Now both of his disciples are under your control, Bertie has also been transformed into a vampire by you. I think you should strengthen your security recently.

The Slave Master previously attempted to assassinate you, and now there’s such a direct conflict. In such a situation, an assassination being scheduled would not surprise me. Perhaps that fearsome Shadow Elf assassin is lurking somewhere in Charldo Harbor planning to give you a surprise.

“He wouldn’t do that.”

Murphy displayed a subtle smile and said:

“If I die, Bertie will die too. If Bertie dies, it’s certain that Penny’s current state will go on a rampage, and you’ve already seen her destructive power firsthand.

Old Bach’s deletion of most of Penny’s memories is a stroke of genius, which means the Slave Master is just a familiar stranger to her. Hence, if Sarifov Shadowblade makes one wrong move, a drama of ‘master and disciple turning against each other’ will unfold before his eyes.

What we need to confirm now is whether this memory deletion is permanent or temporary.”

“The examination results are out.”

Repair Sentinel Mosna stood up, unplugging the connection line from Penny’s database while adjusting the test results on the instrument in her hand. She glanced at Murphy and gestured to the vampire.

But Murphy shook his head and said:

“No need to deliberately hide this from the two of them. They are involved parties, they deserve to know the current situation. Speak, Mosna, is there any hope for our Miss Penny now?”

“There is! Provided we can find a high-spec Creator Mechanical Repair Unit that can function normally.”

Mosna, with one hand on her hip and using the tone like an experienced military doctor facing a difficult case, shook her head and said:

“Otherwise, the current extent of data damage is unsolvable. The consciousness coding program used by Old Bach has been modified by that guy, including the segment for deleting the emotional module, which has not been recorded in the Sentinel Corps’ database.

The power of that thing is extraordinary.

It not only deleted Penny’s memory files but also shattered the root files and released the forms, meaning those memories have permanently vanished.

Considering Penny’s consciousness has been digitized now, I can simply sum it up as this poor girl permanently losing a part of her soul.

Although theoretically, memory data can be restored through hardware feature reading, that kind of technology requires strong hardware support, which is unlikely to exist in the continent at this moment.”

For the Sentinel who gained actual emotional perception due to receiving her sister’s unique emotional core, she sympathetically patted Penny’s mechanical shoulder and said:

“I once had amnesia, I know that feeling, but at least I had complete self-awareness at the time. Now, Miss Penny has thoroughly lost her past personality, like a newborn based on past consciousness, pure and powerful, but also left with only these.”

“It’s okay!”

Bertie shouted on the side:

“It’s okay to forget, I still remember. I will tell you every single thing from our childhood, Penny. Don’t be afraid, you will remember.”

“I…”

The decision-making logic of Prototype 11 hesitated for a moment, she “looked” at Bertie’s tenderness-filled eyes, unsure of how to refuse such help until Murphy coughed once and said:

“I think you don’t need to do that, Bertie. Your intention to help Penny regain her memory is good, but you also need to consider whether she truly needs those memories that have drifted away. Think carefully, knowing those things from the past, is it really good for her?

If you truly care for her, truly love her, you should know that accepting reality and looking forward to the future is the happiest thing for her now.

Hmm, look at your eyes, you think I’m afraid that Penny will choose to oppose me after learning about the past?

No.

You underestimate your senior.”

Murphy smiled and said to Mosna:

“Import the entire memory data of the God-Slaying War into Penny’s core, and do not conceal my actions in it.”

“Are you sure you want to do this, sir?”

Mosna asked:

“If Penny indeed loses control because of this, forgive me for being direct, it’s too late for you to put on the power armor now.”

“It’s okay, show it to her.”

Murphy was confident.

Mosna shrugged, thinking that her commander indeed knows how to pretend. Murphy possesses the formatting authority for all Creator database systems, in other words, if he wishes, he can completely reformat Penny’s current consciousness data.

In the moment Old Bach encoded Penny’s consciousness and stored it in Prototype 11, this girl could never escape the control of Lord Administrator.

As Mosna imported the memory data, Penny took 0.05 seconds to read through it, completing the computing analysis and decision-making, then under Bertie’s gaze, Penny said in a puzzled electronic voice:

“Was it you who once harmed me and destroyed the forces I served? Was it your influence that turned me into this? So, should I hate you?”

“You should, but you can also choose not to.”

Murphy stepped forward, looking at Penny’s bright mechanical eye, he said:
