My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 2978 -992: Protocol III · The Creator’s Perfect Blueprint Will Surely Be Realized!

The battle in the Port District on the front line has ended.

After the storm ritual of the Daguan Fishmen was destroyed by a single solar blast, the terrain transformation tactics of the fishmen completely failed. The tide receded, and the ice field that Eris had created also melted away. Before the members of The Hidden Worship of Daguan retreated, the Black Winter Wolf had bitten to death at least seven sea beasts, enjoying a feast of seafood sashimi.

With this legendary creature guarding the frontline of the dock area, the players could finally relax a bit. After the frontline was defeated, those fishman thugs trapped in the Port District became the targets for the players to hunt down.

They won this battle, but it was far from perfect.

Underestimating the threat of the fishmen led to more player casualties in the Port District than imagined. Whether to vent anger or place blame, the Foreign Spirit Heroes have decided to root out every fishman remaining in the city before dawn arrives, to vent this resentment.

The veteran players kept their dignity; they didn’t join the newbies in the fishman chase but instead prepared to clean up the battlefield to see if they could score some fun items.

However, just when the Silver Moon Group and Big Bird Team had divided the loot collection areas, a thunderous explosion suddenly resounded over the dock area.

Brother Meow looked up and saw a meteor wrapped in ghostly blue flames crash down from the sky, landing on a nearby three-story building that had been flooded. Its impact was strong enough to collapse the floors upon landing and erupt in dazzling flames on the spot.

“What the hell is that?”

Three Five Battles exclaimed, while next to him, Yan Song scratched his head and said:

“I saw it seemed to be a person… a person wrapped in flames, judging by the body lines, it should be a woman?”

The group’s trust in Yan Song, the reconnaissance master, was unshakable, so at Brother Meow’s command, the surrounding players rushed to the crash site to see what it was.

Upon reaching the anti-burning rubble, they just in time saw Prototype Machine No. 11 stand up from the ruins, encased in flames.

The silver-gray mechanical exterior armor showed no obvious damage, but the bruises left by heavy impact marred its refined appearance. This fancy robot seemed to have some kind of malfunction, showing clear signs of shaking its head and patting its head when rising, much like a pampered young master bewildered upon waking up early.

Its arm and leg flame nozzles sporadically emitted ghostly blue plasma flames, and its concealed weapon compartments on the shoulders and back repeatedly opened and closed like malfunctioning electrical switches.

“Threat level…No! I am…Penny…executing scorched earth operation…stop! This isn’t…stop!!!”

The very palpable mechanical voice echoed in the fiery ruin.

The chaos from the depths of its being could be sensed without observation, yet the gathered players were not focused on the mindset of this mechanically feminine robot, their eyes were drawn to its cool exterior.

“What the heck! The dev team made a Gundam! Is this Iron Man? Which model from the Mark series is this? Is this thing for sale? I want to get one for myself!”

Little Wei Ming hugged his Iron Hammer Guard, gazing at this incredibly cool robot with the same fervent love as a plastic figure collector seeing a new model.

From its adaptive external armor in constant motion and streamlined bionic design, it was clear this was no fantasy technology crafted by Half-body Man, perhaps another creation from Creator Technology. As the old saying goes, something with combat effectiveness is invariably beautiful.

Strength beauty and shape beauty often aren’t at odds, and Prototype Machine No. 11 before their eyes perfectly demonstrated this. Amid Little Wei Ming’s exclamations and hand-rubbing, surrounding players had already started frantically taking photos of the slightly deranged robot.

Some even started streaming, letting more viewers witness the scene of the Mech Maiden amidst flames, instantly blowing up the chat.

A group of people shouted bizarre phrases like “I will ignite the sea” in the chat.

This mad Mech Maiden descending from the sky gave players a vague sense that this might be the dev team’s promise to them, but the machine’s aesthetic allure undeniably caught their eyes. Amidst the exclamations, however, cautious veterans instantly threw a Reconnaissance Magic at the confused mechanical body.

Brother Meow’s eyes widened upon receiving the feedback:

Target Name: Destroyer Guardian Type 11·Codename “Elewen”

Target Type: Mechanical Creature·High-grade Creator Technology Construct

Target Rank: ???

Target Class: ???

Target Evaluation: God-like·Invincible

“Retreat! Quickly retreat! Damn, don’t approach!”

Brother Meow pulled his comrades back, also shouting a warning to some bold newbies approaching, but as with all classic plot designs, the warning always comes a moment too late.

During this moment of stabilization, as the Mech Maiden had been thrown into a confusion state due to the signal jammer inserted in the outer armor by Murphy, she realized she was being scanned. According to the combat logic of the Intelligent Guard, being scanned is the signal to begin battle!

It was just as if a Sacred Warrior suddenly barged into a tavern full of heretics, and their opening move was to throw an evil assessment at everyone… Is this not an invitation to draw swords and fight?
