My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 2991 -996: Lady Rose’s Revolutionary Divine Arts—Please Start by Learning C Language (2)

But after the first wave of DDoS attacks ended, Ruyi was dumbfounded.

The core of the mechanical brain in front of her was not only barely holding on; it was completely unscathed.

Although the Half-body Men indeed didn’t realize the importance of data security—after all, other than them, few other races had the precedent of large-scale use of Calculating Pearls—but the absence of a firewall doesn’t mean hackers can act recklessly.

As the mechanical brain connecting all Calculating Pearls in Charldo Harbor normally interact, this thing serves as the city’s “mechanical heart.” From the initial design, the Half-body Men considered the pressure of large data interaction, thus setting up a terrifyingly large data redundancy zone for the mechanical brain.

Under normal circumstances, the mechanical brain has to handle millions of access requests every day at Charldo Harbor. The data redundancy created by Ruyi’s ordinary DDoS attack protocols is simply insufficient to shake the terrifying interaction capacity of the mechanical brain.

It’s like a breeze blowing through the forest, causing the leaves to tremble but having no further effect.

At this moment, Ruyi felt the control panel of the mechanical brain was silently mocking her:

Weak! Are you hungry?

“Damn!”

Ruyi was getting frustrated.

She gritted her teeth, manipulated her Adventure Assistant, increasing the data redundancy produced by her attack protocols at the risk of destroying it. This time, her attack had some effect.

The assembly lines operating in the mechanical brain hall temporarily stopped for a few seconds but soon resumed operation.

“Are these Half-body Men crazy! This redundancy zone is already so large, yet they’ve written additional overload protection protocols?”

Ruyi screamed in frustration:

“Are you trying to create an alternate world version of 12306? This is too exaggerated.”

She was at wit’s end.

It wasn’t that Ruyi, as a super hacker, could only use one DDoS attack. The reason, as mentioned earlier, was that the Calculating Pearls used by players limited her performance, but her Adventure Assistant was already overheating and failing. At most, another two attack protocols, and the thing would stop on its own.

But two attacks couldn’t possibly paralyze the mechanical brain in front of her…

The countdown on Ruyi’s wrist mechanical bracelet was down to three minutes. If she couldn’t handle this thing, the matter would have to be dealt with by the NPCs on both sides.

For Charldo Harbor, this disaster would end at dawn, but for Half-body Man players, it meant the race’s main storyline’s first step was about to end unperfectly.

“Move aside, little Ruyi!”

Paimon, noticing Ruyi’s helplessness, shouted, turned around to carry the Iron Fist Missile, intending to destroy the mechanical brain physically, but a shot from a Raging Gold Missile only damaged the outer armor of the mechanical brain’s control panel, failing to harm the internal structure even more.

The secret of Burning Gold was initially discovered by Old Bach, so the Half-body Men must have anti-Burning Gold explosion materials.

“It’s over.”

Ruyi knocked on her head hard.

She felt things were about to go wrong, prepared to gamble and let her Adventure Assistant go into overload destruction, further intensifying the data attack, yet unexpectedly a flying fragment hit her head, causing her to fall onto the ground with a bang.

Ruyi’s health started to drop rapidly. She knew if she didn’t stop the bleeding, she might die here, but perhaps the shock just caused her character to suffer a concussion. Anyway, when she fell to the ground, a strange hallucination appeared before her.

Everything around seemed to be “frozen.”

Time ceased to flow at this moment, or perhaps her thoughts were being interfered with by some power. In any case, as Ruyi blinked, a wearing intricate dark clothes, with exquisite wrist Lady Shadow Elf appeared before her, walking elegantly with a tinge of allure.

This was obviously a projection.

But Ruyi could see the graceful yet enchanting visage of the lady. The latter looked down at her, and after a moment of eye contact, she said:

“Ready to give up already?

I’m trying to analyze those unique data programs you just used, full of simple yet brutal destructive power. Though they may be insignificant compared to the creator’s technological power, for the intelligence of me and this world, the ‘evil power’ you possess seems more suitable.

Can you explain the principle of your attack protocol to me?”

“Huh?”

Ruyi was bewildered.

She looked at the strange Shadow Elf in front of her, then noticed the unusual light jumping at the back of the latter, sometimes forming an endless white web, sometimes depicting a thought network made up of countless light spots conveying data.

This was undoubtedly abnormal.

Ruyi suspected she had definitely encountered this world’s unique “supernatural power,” but she wasn’t panicked and instead explained the principle of DDoS attack to the strange sister in front of her in a very concise manner.

The latter seemed a bit slow…

Ruyi explained twice without making her understand the specific principle.

On the third time, Ruyi simply jumped up, in this wondrous time-stopped illusion, personally demonstrated with her Calculating Pearl how to utilize Spiritual Energy Factors to influence the structural arrangement and combination of Virtual Differential Machines within the Calculating Pearl to complete the protocol writing for attack.
