My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 2982 -993: Iron Men Rebellion: Fantasy Edition (Part 2)

The chaos spreading in the sky left the people aboard the Origin Pioneer dumbfounded.

His Highness Prince Hu Fu was suddenly paralyzed with uncertainty, unsure of what to do at this moment. As for the others, they were in a flurry, trying to fend off the interference from the Creator Protocol III on the solar ship. Fortunately, Mosna, a bona fide sentinel, was on board as the acting science officer.

With her operation and recognition codes in place, reviving couldn’t take control of this advanced warship.

“We can’t intervene in the chaos in the city; we can’t direct solar bombardment at civilians, can we? So currently, we can only support the external battlefield.”

General Bopal said through gritted teeth to His Highness Prince Hu Fu:

“We will enter the rear of the Jackal Man formation and bombard their positions at maximum power to alleviate the pressure on the Defenders.”

“The frontline also needs support; our vanguard forces are in a fierce battle.”

Hu Fu said in a deep voice:

“Have the warriors on the ship prepare for airborne assault! Directly land on the city walls of Charldo Harbor. Since this matter involves the secret of the creator, then I… I will personally lead the team!”

“No way!” X3

General Bopal, Guard Commander Sannik, and Priest Bodinos unanimously rejected His Highness Prince Hu Fu’s request to participate in the battle. With Hu Fu staring helplessly, these three quickly came up with the following plan.

The old general would pilot the solar ship for ground bombardment, while Sannik and Bodinos would descend to the surface with soldiers to provide support.

As the solar ship started its operation, Mosna, defending the ship’s main control program, also established secondary contact with Murphy, saying to him:

“Commander, what are you doing right now?”

“Hold on, busy!”

Murphy replied briefly.

He was indeed busy, at that moment piloting the War Marshal Power Armor, using the Hunter Float Cannon to smash the wall, escorting a group of refugees out of a building engulfed in thick smoke.

The wide body of the power armor was loaded with crying children, terrified by the ordeal.

Not just Murphy, players rushing over from the Port District were doing the same thing, with Brother Huozi transformed into a moose carrying seven or eight people out of the fire. Ahead, Lady Shui temporarily laid down her war bow, returning to her old priestly role, calling upon Power of Nature to heal the wounded.

Higher up in the air, Triss was calling a storm to bring down rain and extinguish the fire.

Even Bertie and Penny, who had just “joined,” were strenuously rescuing the civilians in danger. Fortunately, in the state of war, Charles’ high command had gathered the civilians together, greatly reducing the difficulty of the rescue.

Flying Vampire Players and those with exoskeletons were now scouring the city to destroy those rebellious walkers, preventing them from getting close to the civilian area for slaughter.

“Speak, what’s the matter?”

Murphy asked during a fleeting moment, and from Mosna came the response:

“This rebellion was triggered by Old Bach rewriting the operational rules of the Calculating Pearl. Old Flywheel and Little Ruyi are prepared to counterattack on this, currently heading to Charles’ Long-Compute Grand Database, leaving this matter to them is fine.

You have more important things to do, regarding the response code of the life greenhouse project…”

“Eden’s computing unit has been seized.”

Murphy responded with frustration:

“Old Bach modified and upgraded reviving, causing it to suppress Eden in data warfare. Now, Eden’s data algorithm is being rapidly deleted by the former, and I don’t even know where it went.”

“It copied itself into the Origin Pioneer database, and I’ve assisted it in completing the algorithm transfer, so you don’t need to worry about its issues. What I want to tell you is, there is still a chance to salvage this!”

Mosna explained solemnly:

“Your administrator privileges theoretically can perform remote operations on the seized long-computing units, and the authority captured by reviving cannot prevent your invocation. What’s more critical is, the response code for the life greenhouse project is protected by a multi-layer encrypted real-time algorithm, it has been running quietly for over a thousand years.

The scholar can’t immediately unlock it either, additional unlock computations are required to actually restart the project.

This period is our last chance.

Now regaining it is unrealistic, and we can only find a way to destroy that code!”

“Hmm, it makes sense.”

Murphy thought for a moment, asking:

“Is this Eden’s suggestion?”

“Correct, it was its decision plan given to me before entering shutdown self-check, but during the recent data battle with Reviving, Eden gleaned insights into the opposing algorithms and routines. It informed me that the scholar had prepared two plans before setting off.”

Mosna explained:

“There is a portion of computing power within Reviving’s algorithm executing a very complex algorithm model writing; Eden presumes it is a brand new driver framework aimed at the life greenhouse project. Simply put, if the scholar fails to acquire the response code for the life greenhouse project this time, he can forcibly initiate the life greenhouse by loading the new driver framework.

The Eden District, after all, has been destroyed for over a thousand years, the previously systematic data security is now gone, making this brute-force cracking feasible.

Hence, even if we remotely destroy the response code for the life greenhouse, we cannot prevent the scholar from launching this project someday in the future.

That guy is mad!

The prerequisite for the life greenhouse’s activation is that the creator engine must complete ecological remodeling of the world’s surface. Given the current primordial environment of world ecology, even if the life greenhouse is truly applied, those cloned civilizations revived would likely not survive the adaptation period.
