My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 2984 -994: Murphy’s Journey as Administrator – From Deleting Databases to Running Away

Murphy had been speculating and contemplating the source of the Twilight Force for a long time. Ever since he got hold of the Universal Device and realized that part of the “legacy” left by the creator had already been stolen by the Twilight, he had been pondering how to counterattack.

Aside from discussing this matter with Triss on certain occasions, he virtually never broached the subject with anyone else.

But Murphy did, indeed, come up with an idea.

A dumb idea, a crazy idea, but perhaps also a good one.

“You know, Twilight is a heretical sect that worships the subspace shadow ‘Original Sin’, aiming to achieve apocalypse. Although the organization’s members may have their own agendas, they currently share the same overarching goal.

A very classic villain organization with a mysterious structure, strong execution, capable of hiding effectively, and vast connections.”

Standing in the control room, Murphy inserted the Universal Device into the console in front of him to verify his authorization and identity, providing ample support for what he was about to do. Slowly, he said to Mosna on the other end,

“I’ve faced them not once or twice. Despite their formidable power, I realized that in a fair situation, my allies and I might not necessarily be at a disadvantage against them. However, the series of ‘legacy’ stolen from the creator that they possess has seriously disrupted our engagements.

The most apparent case was their interference and assault on the Solar Ship in the Battle of the Gods. If not for our good fortune, and the creator’s measures to protect the world, that incident could have escalated into something terrible.

The power armor they subsequently sent to Huggesen made me realize that the resources and legacy in Twilight’s hands exceed our imaginations.

Their current non-use of these things isn’t due to inability but because they feel the time isn’t ripe.

Truly, when both sides lay all their cards for the final showdown and then attempt to resolve the powers that should have been ours, it will already be too late.

I destroyed the Slave Master faction’s collection of ancient weapons with a strike from God’s Scepter, but that’s not enough!

Far from enough.

We need to seize this opportunity to complete something that must be done at this stage… Mosna, give me your Sentinel identification code; I need to bypass the Eden District’s main control AI’s domain to directly enter the underlying framework of that computing unit’s algorithms and proceed with the next operations.”

“What are you doing!!”

Mosna, an elite repair Sentinel, raised her voice by eight octaves upon hearing Murphy’s words, especially those last few sentences. She realized Murphy was preparing to engage in some extremely dangerous maneuvers.

Faced with her questioning, Lord Administrator moved his shoulders inside the power armor and said,

“I’ve said it, I want to format all these things, code a hidden instruction, and activate it when the Scholar connects the remote computing unit to the main control interface of the bio-dome, like a virus! Can you understand my meaning?

I have the privilege to format all the creator’s facilities and databases, and I intend to make full use of this ‘weapon’.

I want to shut down all of Twilight’s inherited assets from the creator!

Turn those weapons into iron blocks, transform the destructive items they’ve stolen into scrap metal, completely neutralize their advantage in this regard, and elevate the game between us to a fairer level.”

“But the creator’s legacy we hold shares the same foundational logic system as their items! Officer Murphy, are you insane? This is tantamount to hitting us hard while destroying them.”

Mosna screamed,

“To say nothing else, once this format command takes effect, the Sanghai People’s solar ship will immediately face a crisis of being unable to operate or even start, and the Sanghai People currently have no way to rewrite a set of drivers.”

“It won’t, Eden is on the ship, it can act as a temporary main control program.”

Murphy smirked,

“Moreover, the comparison of creator’s relic quantity clearly shows that Twilight has more, I might suffer a small loss, but Twilight will be significantly crippled, and they will learn not to meddle with forces they don’t understand.

The Sanghai Empire will indeed be affected, and the Aztec Kingdom on the distant New Continent will also be impacted.

I admit this act isn’t exactly aboveboard, but look, the Sanghai People have always yearned to justify their identity as followers of the Creator.

They’ve inherited the creator’s legacy without proper name or justification, and as long as they continue using these items, they can’t shake off their suspicion as thieves. However, if they can repair them using the accrued experience of a thousand years after all creator’s intelligent programs are formatted…

It will mean their metamorphosis from the identity of thieves to rightful inheritors.

Furthermore, Mosna, I know what you are truly concerned about, fear not, my authority can’t affect the independent system on the Sentinel Corps’ side, so the total formatting command I issue won’t impact your compatriots one bit.

And, taking a step further, even if it were affected, but you all couldn’t swiftly repair it, can I not understand it as your role as Sentinels hand-crafted by the creator being unacceptably inadequate?”

“You’re being sophistic!”
