My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 2968 -988: Millennial Divergence: Eden vs. Revival (Part 3)

“Leave?”

The scholar looked at the slave master in surprise, puzzled, he said:

“Why leave? When did I say I wanted to arrange a retreat for them? Don’t worry, my lord, my old friends won’t become a burden to you. Everyone’s fate has an endpoint, and this is theirs.

You don’t know yet, do you?

Dangerous waves have already appeared in the sub-space, and my old friends have spent two hundred years worshipping mechanics, constructing beliefs and forming organizational structures.

They themselves don’t know they’re playing with something very dangerous.

Considering the current situation, I don’t think the birth of a God of Mechanism is a good idea, you must understand, the creator’s power comes from mechanical civilization, once a God of Mechanism is born, it can easily resonate terribly with those remnants in this field.

Therefore, this is our third task at Charldo Harbor…

To eliminate the Mechanical Church from the source before the mechanical faith continues to spread like wildfire.”

“They have persisted in this sunless underground for two hundred years because of your orders! And the first thing you do after returning is to kill them?!”

Bertie beside Sarifov could no longer hold back, he screamed:

“They all say the scholar is the coldest and most ruthless leader in the organization, they say you treat all beings equally… Fine, is this the way you equally treat your followers?”

“Foolish child, you can’t just look at the surface, it seems you still don’t understand that the so-called truth often runs contrary to what you see. It is a fact that I want to get rid of them, but facts don’t necessarily mean the truth.”

The scholar was not angry.

He only looked at the furious Bertie with a disappointed look of viewing a “fool,” then gestured to the silent Sarifov, who turned and left expressionlessly, then he said to Bertie, who was clenching his fists:

“Take your little girlfriend and come with me, child, we don’t have much time left, I promise, as long as you behave, you will witness your lover’s resurrection with your own eyes… Of course, you can also waste time here by punching me.

You see, I’m indifferent, but how long can your girlfriend hold on?”

After saying that, the scholar strode forward, Bertie hesitated, touched the portable bio-pod on his shoulder, and looked at Penny’s terrifying face inside.

He reached out and touched the observation window, finally gritting his teeth and following along.

This place of creation hidden beneath Charldo Harbor was quite large.

Internally, it was a world apart, the explosion in the Eden District back in the day severely altered the terrain here, but this place of creation wasn’t buried here by geological changes, it was intact, like a core embedded in the soil.

This situation can only prove that when the explosion occurred, the management AI of the Eden District conducted a dangerous space transference of its core capsule, which then malfunctioned and got stuck nearly seven hundred meters underground.

The members of the Mechanical Church had by then already begun their “pilgrimage,” and the three leaders fondly viewed and touched the complex and exquisite mechanical structures with a devout posture, but the scholar ignored them, instead leading Bertie deeper inside, using “Revival’s” authority to open the hatch to the core position.

“Put her on that modification platform!”

In the innermost operating cabin, the scholar instructed Bertie:

“Put the smart cap on her head, I will encode her mind with the creator’s knowledge power and select a sufficiently excellent consciousness container for her, the next work you cannot interfere in, my advice for you is to take this opportunity to learn and see more outside, and download some external database information for me in the meantime.

Take this, go.”

He tossed his mechanized cane to Bertie, who opened the portable bio-pod, looking at the girl inside who was already on the brink of death, he finally kissed her severely burned forehead in a farewell manner and placed his last letter beside her, and then walked out with the mechanized cane in stride.

After Bertie left the control room, the scholar, while activating various programs in the area, deftly input a line of code on a hidden device.

Moments later, a large warning character popped up in front of him:

[Area self-destruction program activated! Countdown 30 minutes start…]

—————–

“Boom”

The mechanical beast in front of Murphy exploded in a self-destructive tank manner at the beginning of its strike, the vampire could confirm it wasn’t his doing, then those mechanical creations blocking the way shut down one after another, as if some force had at that moment taken over their authority and pressed the shutdown key.

“Is it you? Eden, it’s rare to see you interfere with such violence and anxiety.”

Murphy grabbed his Core Bead and tapped it, saying:

“At this crucial moment, say something! What’s going on ahead?”

“Beep… Master program operating unit self-destruction program activated… Core algorithm copy upgrade initiated… Authority suppression initiated…”

For the first time, Eden’s voice came from the Core Bead, the electronic tone was nothing new but carried an undisguised urgency, it reminded:

“It’s… self-replicating… stop it from obtaining the ‘Life Greenhouse’ project response code, please…”

“Who is it?”

Murphy asked, Eden responded:

“Revival…

It self-authorized as ‘Revival’, setting its goal to restart the Life Greenhouse project and restore the creator’s blueprint… It was born for this goal alone, however, according to calculations, the first step in restarting the creator’s blueprint in today’s era would most likely lead to the extinction of existing civilization… Probability is 89.75%… This act severely violates the creator’s intent… But it circumvented the decision with a logical loophole…

This program continuously rewrites its code to prevent its usurpation… But someone is helping it… That’s an unfamiliar coding style…

Help!

Lord Administrator, hurry!”
