My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 2967 -988: Millennium Divergence · Eden VS Revival_2

He gritted his teeth, strapped on the portable biological chamber, and followed Sarifov forward.

At the deepest part of this underground space, in front of a metal structure seemingly “embedded” within the rock wall, the core members of the Mechanical Church had already laid out their setup. Several bizarre machines were connected by them to some exposed pipelines on the Creator’s Gate, and a mechanic was using a highly complex large Calculating Pearl instrument for adjustments.

The Scholar was conversing with his three old friends.

“I heard that you once tried to turn my disciple Flywheel into a member of the Mechanical Church?”

The Scholar asked, and the Half-body Man Mechanical Sage Marvin beside him replied in an exceptionally peculiar emotionless mechanical voice:

“It was an attempt. After you left, Bach, your daughter played a bad love drama between two promising young men, perhaps unintentionally, but it led to bitter outcomes.

The relationship between Flywheel and Minkus broke down; they had a foolish duel that accidentally injured others. Flywheel was expelled but was brought back underground by us. He was truly talented and only one step away from becoming one of us, even capable of taking the leadership position vacant after your departure.

Unfortunately, Flywheel accidentally met a widow skilled at manipulating hearts. He fell into the trap of emotions a second time and eventually chose to flee his homeland.

Tsk, emotions…

Meaningless things, they only affect our efficiency in researching mechanical power, which is why I’ve always tried to request the followers to remove those meaningless reproductive organs to avoid being influenced in what should be their brilliant and pure lives.”

“Uh, Marvin, you’re a bit too extreme.”

The old Scholar Bach sighed and said:

“More extreme than I remember. In fact, I don’t believe these two needs conflict. Precisely because of the complex and impulsive emotional factors, so many miracles of the weak defeating the strong have appeared in history.

But this is not what we are discussing today, about this door…

We have tried for two hundred years but still can’t open it with our engineering concepts, but that doesn’t prove our technological route is wrong. It’s just because the accumulation of knowledge is not enough. With the help of ‘Revival,’ I’ve found the opportunity and method to combine the two.

There is no place for Spiritual Energy in the mechanical knowledge of the creator, but Spiritual Energy is already an indispensable part of this world. Therefore, we must use this external power to help us develop these two types of knowledge into a mechanical secret unique to us.

I’m back here today to show you the new knowledge I’ve advanced and summarized over these two hundred years!

A new system based on the creator’s mechanical engineering, with the addition of Spiritual Energy as an energy source, resulting in clever changes!

I named it ‘Mystic Engineering.’

He proclaimed loudly, then went to the operating platform of the working Calculating Pearl, transforming his mechanized cane into a complex external device, and performed intricate coding operations within.

Within his cane was a device very similar to the fourth-generation Calculating Pearl that was humming, but this thing could complete parallel connection with the mechanical facilities left by the creator, sufficiently proving its technological content far exceeded the current most advanced fourth-generation Pearl.

“Leader! They’re attacking from outside!”

Just as a group of core members of the Mechanical Church admired with a “pilgrimage” like rapture how old Bach demonstrated the integration of steam engineering and the knowledge of the creator, a panicked member of the Mechanical Church ran in, shouting:

“That damned heretic Minkus brought a group of ferocious vampires and broke in! Our defenses can’t hold them; they’ll breach here in at most twenty minutes.”

“I’ll do it!”

Sarifov stood up, handed the “Smart Hat” in his hand to Bertie, and said:

“I’ll hold them off. You continue.”

“No need, you’re a guest; it’s unreasonable to have guests take action.”

Old Bach, who was engaged in complex reprogramming of the Gate of Creation, didn’t lift his head and said:

“Revival, help!”

“Boom”

With a loud crash, the various mechanical creations scattered around were started with an invisible consciousness in a fierce manner. Those Mechanical Beasts and engineering creations were activated, immediately entering an overload state, squeezing the energy of the Burning Gold Dynamo and charging towards the breached direction.

A few minutes later, as old Bach’s fingers tapped the control platform, the Creator’s Gate, sealed for a thousand years, was reactivated with a piercing noise. With the sound of mechanical operation, the door slowly opened.

The members of the Mechanical Church let out excited cheers.

This was their sacred land, and now, they finally obtained the qualification to visit the sacred land.

Old Bach, with a contented expression, retracted his mechanized cane and turned to Sarifov, saying:

“Please go to the surface, start your Flyshuttle and prepare to receive us for departure. The land of creation houses the calculating units and core modules of the Eden District core AI. These are crucial constructs that must be returned to the Life Greenhouse, and only your Flyshuttle can achieve this on such a chaotic night.”

“My ship can’t carry so many people…”

Sarifov glanced at the surrounding hundreds of core members of the Mechanical Church and said:

“You need to figure out another way to arrange a way out for them.”
