My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 2959 -985: Ah, Before My Eyes… There’s Nothing But Merfolk…_3

When the vampires landed in the command area where Old Qin was, Gebao was still complaining, and the other Vampire Players all nodded in agreement with Gebao’s statement that today’s battle was indeed quite frustrating.

“Brothers and sisters, the outer city has also started fighting, the werewolves are attacking the walls under the cover of the merfolk’s storm, using this method to nullify our firepower advantage. The situation there is dire, which means we probably won’t get any support in the port district.”

Old Qin, with a serious face, rushed out and shouted to the vampires in the rain:

“The Demi-human Lords have contacted the Mermaids, and they have agreed to disrupt the merfolk’s storm ritual as much as possible from behind. But before they succeed, I need you to replicate the previous bombing tactics; there’s enough light incendiary bombs here.

Take them and attack the Fishman Army in the dock area, slow their advance.”

“Leave it to us! We will… light up the sea!!!”

Little Wei Ming raised his weapon and shouted loudly, this grand declaration was immediately echoed by loud cheers from the players. But now the storm was growing, making it difficult for the vampires to control their flight paths even in high air, which meant they had to take the dangerous low-altitude bombing, with the merfolk’s strong ranged forces greatly increasing the risk of this bombing action.

But Old Qin did not explain this.

It’s not that he’s cold-hearted, but he knows very well that the players won’t back down because of this bit of difficulty; instead, they’ll think it’s cool.

Yeah, often, cool equals dangerous; it’s the same in any world, this is undoubtedly a dangerous game, but the players are obsessed with it.

As the vampires struggled to ascend with the light bombs, on the rooftop of the Port Authority in the dock area, members of the Loyalty Song Guild were trapped here, with the tides below already submerging the ground floor of the port area buildings, making this high ground an isolated island in Ze Country.

There was no way to retreat now.

Surrounded by water filled with constantly climbing merfolk, over twenty players set up a temporary stronghold in the center of the rooftop, continuously firing in all directions to deplete the merfolk’s assault. Before the battle, full of confidence, Threejin Sweet Potato was now gritting his teeth, cursing while shooting bullets forward.

His three brothers were dragged into the water by the merfolk during the previous retreat, dying a miserable death.

“Kill these bastards!”

Deep-fried Sweet Potato angrily cursed, grabbing a bundle of grenades and pulling the pins. When a large group of merfolk came climbing up from the front, he flung the grenades over there.

The thundering firelight blew those twisted monsters apart, but before Deep-fried Sweet Potato could breathe a sigh of relief, a massive figure wielding two coral war swords leapt from the water and landed in the bloody sludge, howling towards the sky in front of Deep-fried Sweet Potato, inadvertently striking a rather fierce pose.

This was a provocation, as well as a display of its devotion to the “Father of Fish”. In the next second, it was blown apart on the spot by a flying Iron Fist Missile.

Deep-fried Sweet Potato didn’t even spare the Fishman Overlord a glance.

He was too busy.

Even though more than twenty elite players were gathered here to resist, the imminent depletion of bullets meant that they would soon find themselves in a dire situation of close combat with the Daguan Fishmen.

“We’re not getting out of here, tonight we’ll probably end it here.”

Brother Prodigal, panting heavily, inserted his last magazine into the Blood Vulture Claw, glanced at the empty ammunition box by his feet, shrugged, and said to Deep-fried Sweet Potato and Mr. Ziwei beside him:

“This will probably be the most meaningless death, no matter how many merfolk we kill here, it can’t change the reality of the dock area being flooded. These bastard’s flooding tactics are too cunning.”

“That’s their racial talents, just like you can’t prevent the vampires from flying, we just aren’t up to par, nothing to say.”

Zihui looked at it with an open mind.

He shoved a bottle of Victory Wine into his chest, raised his head to glance at the firelight bursting through the storm behind them, and said:

“The vampires have started bombing, in this pitch black darkness, they need a coordinate, here you go! College Student.”

The professional handed a signal gun to Deep-fried Sweet Potato, saying:

“Once we’re all dead or a vampire gets close, shoot this thing into the sky to guide them for a bombing run here…”

“Whoa! A sea monster is coming, watch out guys!”

A scream from Mofu interrupted Mr. Ziwei’s words of advice, and upon standing up, clad in a steel helmet, he saw an octopus tentacle covered with suckers emerging from the water, swinging like a whip towards their position.

Mustard micro-fool was still firing at the tentacle, but in the next second, like a desktop clean-up master, over a dozen people on the rooftop, along with nearly a hundred merfolk, were swept away by the tentacle.

Lying on the ground ahead of time, Deep-fried Sweet Potato avoided disaster, but when he got up, his other brothers were already overwhelmed by the merfolk pouring over them.

The College Student gritted his teeth, pulled out the war halberd from his back, and charged at the merfolk, swinging it horizontally, but within seconds, he saw a giant black octopus sea monster emerging from the water, its venomous eyes fixed on his position, three tentacles raised and ready to crush this little bug.

“What the hell are you looking at! “

With death imminent, Deep-fried Sweet Potato was not afraid but instead let out a battle roar with reddened eyes.

In the last second before being swarmed and bitten by the pouncing merfolk, he raised his hand and fired the signal flare into the sky.

“Whoosh”

The red signal flare flew into the stormy night sky, its blazing crimson light illuminating Deep-fried Sweet Potato’s eyes.

He was being dragged and thrown to the ground by the merfolk, those ugly creatures biting at him wildly, while the sea monster raised its tentacles to destroy this building, and before him were nothing but the hideous heads of the merfolk.

But in that last moment before he broke connection, in the crimson glow of the signal flare, he clearly saw a small figure carrying a large bomb diving down from high altitude in the raging storm.

“Finish it, Little Potato… this is my last support, the rest is up to you!”

The roar before the eruption of the Light-eating Divine Power dissipated in the sound of the storm, but a few seconds later, the sight of a ball of fire rising into the storm and the sea monster’s pained howls seemed to indicate that Deep-fried Sweet Potato’s noble thoughts had been understood by Little Potato.

Yeah, probably understood.

Tch, for dying so heroically, I won’t hold you accountable for calling me ‘Little Potato’.
