My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 2970 -989: Since Things Have Come to This, Only One Choice Remains…_2

Destruction-type Guardian of Creation Prototype No. 11, code-named ‘Elewen’ initiating consciousness reception program…

Countdown to self-destruction of the computation unit 21 minutes… Please speed up the process… “

Eden’s piercing warning made Murphy realize that something strange was happening in the land of creation ahead. He glanced back at Adel and the mechanics still fighting against the mechanical cultists, gestured to E Sister to “stand firm”, then grabbed Master Minkus beside him, and with a beat of his wings, broke through the entanglement here at supersonic speed.

Meanwhile, in the innermost control room of the main AI computation unit in the land of creation, Old Bach rolled up his sleeves and took a step back, satisfied as he watched the various programs on the mechanical modification platform in front of him begin to operate.

The body of the Shadow Elf Penny lying there was already shattered beyond recognition.

This was the fallout from Murphy’s attack that destroyed the God’s Scepter of the Slave Master faction. This poor girl was merely caught on the periphery of the “Genesis” aftershock, leaving her in this state, her body shattered to crystallization, with her consciousness and soul severely injured by the purifying power.

The Scholar didn’t lie about this; the girl’s injuries were beyond help in the current continent.

Fortunately, she still has one last path to go.

“Smart Hat… the last invention from my past life. I can even guess how my apprentices evaluated it: a foolish creation from a mad old man in his dreams, entirely unactivable, entirely unusable, even its internal structure was a mess.”

Old Bach chuckled.

He tapped the strangely shaped Smart Hat on Penny’s head and softly said:

“But they would never know that the sole purpose of this thing is to conduct consciousness encoding, achieving consciousness immortality by deconstructing the soul as data. Even a replica made by copying blindly has enough safety and usability. It’s hard to imagine how powerful the creator’s technological strength was?

Sigh, it’s a pity I wasn’t born in an era where I could admire his great power, but it’s okay, the great work left by the creator will eventually be realized.

Even if perhaps not in the way he imagined.”

He glanced back at the optical projection, where the progress bar slowly yet steadily marched forward.

A waterfall-like optical projection around frantically refreshed with strings—the data-layer warfare between two main control programs from the Golden Era, smokeless yet fierce, occasionally causing overloaded and sparking modules in the control room that represent the intensity of the battle.

Regret and melancholy flashed in Old Bach’s eyes.

Even now, he still cannot intervene in such a battle akin to the “God of Data”. Sure, he learned a lot of era-defying knowledge from the creator’s think tank, but the continent’s current technological level prevents him from replicating those great powers.

Even more regrettable is that there are fewer than ten people on this continent who can understand this battle unfolding.

“Compared to you, we are like worms crawling on the ground, unable to grasp the truths conveyed amidst the starry spots even occasionally looking up at the sky. But you destroyed the world, and I will rebuild it…”

Old Bach clenched his fists.

In the flicker of various lights around the consciousness encoding process advancing on the mechanical modification platform behind him, this petite Half-body Man seemed to be declaring war against something already lost and intangible.

He shouted loudly:

“The creator once left everything behind, but you destroyed it… I will personally complete the Creator’s Blueprint! Thousands of years ago, laughable bastards, I will prove the gifts you were unworthy of will become rights for the beings of the next era.

For this, I will not hesitate to destroy this world and rebuild it!

Haha, an era birthed upon errors ought to be reversed, and I will personally complete my final work! The future has arrived… I am the future!”

“Bang”

A recording device beside Old Bach exploded in the overload from the data warfare.

In the dance of electric sparks, Lady Rose, clumsily climbing onto this “Network”, was staring blankly at the “World War” happening on the date network between Eden and Resurrection.

She seemed like a primitive standing beside a big shot, utterly incomprehensible and incapable of understanding the casual tactics used in mutual attack and defense by the two super AIs, but she could see the terrifying power brought by the waves of tremors across the shattered data network that broke thousands of years ago.

This data network woven by the creator will eventually crumble over time, while the invisible network that would blanket the world in the next era will be woven by her.

Amidst the data war between Eden and Resurrection, Lady Rose recorded everything she saw with a greedy demeanor. Though unable to grasp the operation mode and underlying framework of this data network, she knew she must document all she saw for future reference and details for the network she would weave.

She told Murphy she abandoned weaving the Network of Destiny, but in truth, she hadn’t!

Rose was greedy.

She inherited the greed of the Shadow Elves and multiplied it numerous times. Not only does she intend to become the God of Data, dominating the world in the flicker of numbers, but also to rewrite the waves of destiny with this denser invisible network as the foundation.
