Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 40: Chapter 37 Makeup Remover, Super Beauty’s Ultimate Weapon

As soon as he returned to the villa, Zhao Rong began packing, grumbling to himself. Everyone else sends their bodyguards to developed countries in Europe and America... Why is the chairman sending his to the remote wilderness? It’s so uncool.

While he was complaining, the car sent by the chairman to pick them up arrived.

In stark contrast to Zhao Rong’s many bags, the three beauties were traveling light, carrying nothing at all. After the four of them and the assistant got into the car, Zhao Rong looked at the women, who hadn’t brought a single thing, and said in surprise, ”Ladies, we’re heading into the mountains. How can you not bring anything to such a remote place?”

The three beauties looked back at him, equally surprised. ”Why would we need to bring anything to the True Gate of Mount Shu? We just need to show up.”

Zhao Rong was puzzled, but just as he was wondering about their words, the sedan suddenly stopped. As soon as it did, the three girls opened their doors and got out.

Seeing them get out, Zhao Rong said, bewildered, ”What are you doing? This is the city center, the most bustling area.”

After the three girls and the assistant had exited, the driver looked at Zhao Rong, who was still sitting motionless inside. ”We’re here. Why aren’t you getting out?”

Hearing they had arrived, Zhao Rong looked out the window in surprise at the bustling streets, intoxicating neon lights, and dazzling nightscape.

”Aren’t we going to the True Gate of Mount Shu?” he said in amazement. ”That place should be in the deep wilderness... How can we be here? Isn’t this the most bustling part of the city center?”

Hearing this, the three girls burst out laughing. ”The True Gate of Mount Shu is located right here, in the most bustling part of the city center!”

Zhao Rong’s eyes widened. So Mount Shu isn’t in the deep forest... and the True Gate isn’t in a secluded, hard-to-reach place...

He sighed, picked up his many bags, got out of the car, and followed the others to the entrance of the True Gate a short distance away.

Zhao Rong saw what looked like a training center nestled in the bustling downtown district. At the entrance stood a small rockery with the words ”Mount Shu” carved into it. Next to the rockery was a large sign that read: ”True Gate.”

Instantly, Zhao Rong was floored. He had never imagined that the renowned cultivation holy land, the True Gate of Mount Shu, would be located in the heart of the city.

Standing at the entrance, Zhao Rong glanced around. To the left of the True Gate was a lavish disco and dance hall; to the right was a high-end KTV and a bar.

Seeing this, Zhao Rong couldn’t help but wonder, Can anyone really cultivate True Qi in such a bustling and noisy place?

As he stood there, still confused, a bell rang from inside the True Gate, signaling the start of a class. Instantly, a flood of disciples poured out from the neighboring disco, dance hall, KTV, and bar. They rushed toward the True Gate’s entrance like a herd of stampeding horses.

As they ran, one disciple complained, ”Time flies! I just met a foreign girl at the bar, and the class bell rang before I even had a chance to hit on her.”

A very fat but surprisingly fast disciple said, ”I was having a blast dancing at the disco. I really don’t want to go back to class.”

Another disciple, whose eyes were so small they were nearly invisible, grumbled, ”I had just picked out a few good songs at the KTV and was about to start singing when that damn class bell rang. So frustrating.”

Seeing that the disciples of the True Gate apparently spent all their time between classes in the nearby discos, KTVs, and bars, Zhao Rong couldn’t help but gasp in shock.

Just then, as Zhao Rong, the three beauties, and the assistant were about to enter, they were stopped by the gatekeeper. The guard looked them over before blocking the assistant’s path. ”These four can enter, but you can’t.”

”If they can go in, why can’t I?” the assistant protested.

The gatekeeper explained, ”These four got in through the chairman’s connections. Who do you think you are? Do you have a letter of recommendation?”

Stunned, the assistant watched Zhao Rong and the three beauties stroll into the True Gate. He turned back to the guard and pleaded, ”Sir, please, do me a favor. I just want to learn some real skills at the True Gate. Please let me in.”

Faced with the assistant’s plea, the gatekeeper thought for a moment and said, ”It’s possible to enter, but you’ll have to take on a job.”

The assistant’s face lit up. ”As long as you let me into the True Gate, I’ll do anything!”

The gatekeeper told him, ”As it happens, the old man who cleans the toilets just went home. If you don’t mind the work, you could be responsible for cleaning all the toilets inside the True Gate.”

Hearing this, the assistant was reluctant, but he thought, This place looks so small. It probably only has one or two bathrooms. A quick once-over should be enough.

So, he agreed. ”Deal. As long as I can become a disciple of the True Gate, I’ll take charge of all the bathrooms inside.”

After signing a contract, the gatekeeper let the assistant inside.

However, the moment the assistant stepped into the True Gate, he froze in shock. He hadn’t expected that the seemingly small facade concealed a massive space, complete with its own mountains and rivers. To his horror, he discovered there were at least several hundred toilets inside, and all of them were dry latrines. Worst of all, to maintain hygiene, a rule dictated that every toilet had to be cleaned twice a day.

When the assistant read the rule, he nearly fainted. So many toilets, not only are they dry latrines, but they have to be cleaned twice a day? As the toilet cleaner, I won’t have any time left for cultivation! I’ll have to spend all my time just cleaning them!

Meanwhile, when Zhao Rong, a rather unremarkable man, entered the True Gate with three top-tier beauties, he immediately attracted the attention of many disciples. The True Gate was like an engineering college—overwhelmingly male. Consequently, stunning women like Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian were as rare and precious as pandas. When Zhao Rong arrived with them, he instantly drew the jealousy of many powerful disciples.

What Zhao Rong and the women hadn’t expected was that Lili’s ex-boyfriend, the Killer King Wang Jingang, was also training at the True Gate. He had even become the head disciple. Besides the familiar Wang Jingang, the bully from the management training center, Big Dumb, was also here and was now part of Wang Jingang’s crew.

As Zhao Rong led the three beauties into the True Gate’s training hall, a disgruntled disciple approached them. His name was Hu Jie, and he had shifty eyes.

Staring at the three women beside Zhao Rong, he said disdainfully, ”Kid, don’t think you’re all that just because you brought three beauties with you. I, Hu Jie, can bring three beauties too.”

With that, Hu Jie whistled toward a nearby bamboo grove. At the signal, three women wearing heavy makeup walked over.

Hu Jie slung his arms around them and boasted to Zhao Rong, ”See, kid? Don’t think your girls are so special just because they’re young and beautiful. The three I’m with are even younger and prettier.”

He then had the three women introduce themselves.

The woman in red said, ”I’m Xiao Hong, eighteen.”

The woman in blue said, ”I’m Xiao Lan, eighteen and a half.”

The woman in purple said, ”My name is Ah Zi, and I’m not even nineteen.”

Listening to them, Hu Jie proudly addressed the crowd, ”Hey, guys, look here! This new fellow isn’t the only one who can bring three young, pretty girls. I, Hu Jie, can do it too!” Finishing his speech, he burst into loud laughter.

When Zhao Rong saw the three women with Hu Jie, he was taken aback. This guy is ridiculous. Of all the things to compete over, he has to pick a contest of who brought more girls?

Just as Hu Jie was reveling in his restored pride, Lili whispered to Zhao Rong, ”Zhao Rong, don’t feel bad. I’m telling you, those three women claiming to be eighteen are at least in their forties.”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong’s jaw nearly hit the floor. He scrutinized the three women with Hu Jie and said to Lili, ”No way. Are they really that old?”

Before he could finish, Lili quietly pulled a bottle of makeup remover from her bag. ”Trust me. If I splash this on their faces right now, I can make those three ’beauties’ with Hu Jie reveal their true forms instantly.”

Zhao Rong glanced at Hu Jie, then at the three women beside him. Forget it. We just got here; it’s best not to make an enemy of Hu Jie.

However, seeing Zhao Rong’s restraint, Hu Jie became even more obnoxious. ”Hey, kid! I’m telling you, the three women with you are nowhere near as beautiful or young as mine. You know, I picked these three myself from a pool of over a thousand beauties!”

Hearing Hu Jie dare to claim that top-tier beauties like Lili, Xuelian, and Yu Lan weren’t pretty was the last straw. Zhao Rong could no longer hold back. ”Hu Jie, show some respect! We have no beef with you, yet you come here picking a fight for no reason and insulting my friends. Watch yourself, or I won’t be so polite.”

His words only made Hu Jie more arrogant. ”Damn you! Before you showed up, I was the top playboy at the True Gate! Everyone envied me. But then you came along, and now people are saying your girls are prettier than mine. For that alone, I can’t stand the sight of you. I won’t accept it.”

Hearing Hu Jie’s twisted reason for picking a fight and insulting the girls, Zhao Rong said icily, ”I’m warning you one last time. Are you leaving or not?”

Hu Jie sneered at him. ”I’m not leaving. Not unless you admit, in front of everyone here, that your three girls are trash and my three are top-notch beauties.”

At this, Zhao Rong took a step back and said to Lili, ”Lili, do it.”

Before he had even finished speaking, Lili uncapped the bottle of makeup remover. At the same moment, Yu Lan and Xuelian also took out their own bottles and removed the caps. They aimed at the three women across from them, ready to splash the makeup remover and expose their true forms all at once.
