Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 18: Chapter 17: Sleeping in the Forest, Midnight Scare

As Zhao Rong drove, images flashed through his mind. If the back seats were folded down, if...

Suddenly, the car broke down in a very remote location, surrounded by a forest with no cell signal. The engine’s abrupt stall shattered Zhao Rong’s daydream. He tried the ignition several times, but it wouldn’t turn over.

Looking at the dead car, he muttered, ”Damn it, don’t tell me this piece of junk broke down?”

Miss Lili, sitting in the back, peered out at the Primeval Forest. ”Weren’t we going back to the training center? How did we end up out here?”

Yu Lan, who had been to this area before, exclaimed in surprise, ”Oh no, we took a wrong turn! This is the Primeval Forest. It looks like we’re stuck here tonight. We’ll have to spend the night in the car.”

Hearing they would have to sleep in the car, Zhao Rong swallowed hard. Damn it, could everything I was just fantasizing about be coming true?

All throughout the drive, his mind had been running wild with fantasies of driving with a beautiful woman, the car breaking down in an Uninhabited Area, and then...

Xuelian opened the car door, stepped out, and raised her phone to the sky. ”You’ve got to be kidding me. There isn’t a single bar of signal out here?”

Zhao Rong glanced at the three beautiful women behind him and couldn’t help but think, If only there was just one beautiful woman in the car. But three? How could I possibly make a move now...

As his mind wandered, Miss Lili asked him, ”Weren’t you driving back to the training center? Why did you bring us to the Primeval Forest on the outskirts of the city?”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong wondered the same thing. Did I remember the way incorrectly?

It turned out that Zhao Rong had been so lost in his daydreams that he’d taken a wrong turn, driving them straight into the Primeval Forest.

Now they were in real trouble. Stuck in this Uninhabited Area, their cries for help would go completely unanswered. Besides, it was already getting late. Trying to walk out of the Primeval Forest at night would be harder than climbing to heaven. The safest option was to set up camp on the spot, get through the night, and wait for daylight to make the route clear before attempting to leave.

Zhao Rong apologized to Lili, ”Miss, I’m so sorry. It’s all my fault. I took a wrong turn and accidentally drove us into this Primeval Forest.”

Lili was initially about to get angry, but seeing his sincere apology, she immediately forgave him. ”It’s alright. Since we’re in the Primeval Forest, let’s just make the best of it. We can rough it for one night and figure things out in the morning.”

Xuelian agreed with Lili’s idea. ”Miss Lili is right. It’s so late now. If we risked leaving the Primeval Forest, we could easily get lost.”

Hearing Xuelian, Zhao Rong added dramatically, ”Miss Xuelian is right. Getting lost in the Primeval Forest is no joke. You could lose your life.”

And so, through a twist of fate, Zhao Rong and the three stunning beauties prepared to camp in the Primeval Forest.

Miss Lili asked, ”Since we’re planning to camp here, what do we do about a tent? We didn’t bring one.”

At her words, Yu Lan and Xuelian also frowned. Without a tent, how are we supposed to sleep tonight?

Seeing the three women’s worried expressions, Zhao Rong said, ”That’s easy. We can just fold down the back seats of this SUV. Once they’re flat, we can make a bed right in the car.”

Hearing this, Miss Lili clapped her hands. ”Zhao Rong, you’re a genius! Why didn’t we think of that? This taxi is an SUV, so its back seats can be folded down, and there’s a good amount of space.” Yu Lan and Xuelian both gave Zhao Rong a thumbs-up.

After the three women got out, Zhao Rong folded the back seats down. He then took off his coat, spread it over the folded seats, and said, ”The space in here isn’t bad. You three can sleep here.”

Delighted, the three women climbed into the back. Since the taxis in this city were all large SUVs, the folded-down back seat created what was practically a large bed. Lying inside, they opened the sunroof to look at the stars. ”Even though we ended up in the Primeval Forest by accident, this feeling is actually quite nice. It feels like we’re getting close to nature.”

While the three beauties lay comfortably watching the stars, Zhao Rong stood alone beside the car. So much for the fantasy. Reality is harsh. All that daydreaming about what could happen in the car... looks like it’s not my night after all.

Just as Zhao Rong was about to give up on his fantasies, Miss Lili suddenly remembered him. ”Wait, the three of us have a place to sleep, but what about Zhao Rong? Where will he stay?”

Yu Lan thought for a moment and said, ”It’s definitely not safe outside at night. No, we have to let Zhao Rong come in and join us.”

Hearing the suggestion that Zhao Rong sleep in the car with them, Miss Lili immediately objected. ”The three of us are girls, and he’s a man. It’s improper for us to share a space like this! What if he gets ideas in the middle of the night and tries something with one of us...”

Although Miss Lili strongly objected, Xuelian was firmly in favor. ”Miss Lili, we can’t be so selfish. We can’t just think about our own safety and leave Zhao Rong outside, not caring if he lives or dies.”

Yu Lan added, ”Besides, there are rumors of monsters appearing in this Primeval Forest at night. What if Zhao Rong gets eaten by a monster?”

Hearing Yu Lan and Xuelian, Lili had no choice. She was outvoted.

Thus, the three stunning beauties said in unison, ”Zhao Rong, it’s too dangerous outside. Come on in and sleep in the car.”

Hearing the invitation to sleep in the car, Zhao Rong was stunned, then ecstatic. Looks like I have a chance tonight after all!

So, Zhao Rong got into the car and sat in the driver’s seat.

However, as soon as he sat down, Yu Lan looked at him and said, ”Zhao Rong, are you going to sit there all night? Won’t that be uncomfortable?”

Surprised, Zhao Rong replied, ”You three are sleeping in the back. If I don’t sit here all night, what am I supposed to do, share the same bed with you three?”

Zhao Rong had the desire but lacked the nerve, so he hadn’t dared to even imagine spending the night with the three beauties.

Unexpectedly, Xuelian spoke up directly. ”Don’t be so old-fashioned, Zhao Rong. This is a special situation, so don’t be a stranger. Hurry up and get over here with us.”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong froze. Should I accept or refuse?

After a long internal struggle, his surging hormones defeated his reason. Zhao Rong nodded, hopped over from the driver’s seat, and lay down right in the middle of the three women.

Although the car was a large SUV, it was still just a car. With four people sleeping in the back, it was extremely cramped.

Just as Zhao Rong was reveling in the feeling of being squeezed between the beautiful women, completely intoxicated by the situation, Yu Lan quietly leaned close to his ear and whispered, ”Zhao Rong, don’t fall asleep just yet. After Miss Lili and Xuelian are asleep, we can...”
