Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 601: Chapter 599: The New Store in the Imperial Capital

Huo Sining’s eyes twinkled with mirth as she nodded, ”Of course, you can take a look at the contract first. I’ll go with you to your mother’s hospital in a while, and then we can make the transfer directly through bank cards.”

Zhao Yuliang nodded and carefully reviewed the contract brought by Yin Zeyan, and after confirming that there were no mistakes, he solemnly signed his own name on it.

Afterwards, Huo Sining followed Zhao Yuliang to the hospital. Zhao Yuliang’s mother lay on the hospital bed, her features etched with the exhaustion of illness. When she learned that Huo Sining was willing to pay five million for their family’s pair of jade cups, Zhao Yuliang’s mother was first shocked, then she covered her face with the blanket and sobbed uncontrollably.

Zhao Yuliang’s eyes also became red-rimmed, but he didn’t cry. Instead, he hugged his mother’s shoulders, patting her back and softly comforting her,

”Mom, you don’t have to talk about giving up on the surgery anymore. The problem of the surgery fee is solved now. Just rest easy in the hospital and wait for them to schedule your operation. We don’t lack money anymore!”

After crying for a bit, Zhao’s mother quickly calmed down. She picked up the contract, took one reluctant look at the pair of jade cups – an inheritance from her father. Now she was selling it, admittedly feeling like an unfilial daughter.

Guilt and sorrow flickered in Zhao’s mother’s eyes. In the end, she gritted her teeth and still signed her name on the contract.

Seemingly understanding his mother’s thoughts, Zhao Yuliang said to her, ”Mom, I know you don’t want to sell Grandpa’s belongings, but I believe that if Grandpa were alive today, he would have made the same decision without hesitation. Objects are inanimate, but people are alive. He definitely wouldn’t want to see you suffer from illness!”

Once the contract was in hand, Huo Sining didn’t say another word and transferred five million to Zhao Yuliang’s bank account. Zhao Yuliang also handed over the pair of jade cups to Huo Sining, thus the transaction was completed.

After dealing with Huang Chengyi and Lu Ruiqi, who were sick, Huo Sining was now convinced that the spiritual energy of the Water-Repelling Pearl could directly treat human illnesses.

However, Huo Sining wasn’t familiar with Zhao Yuliang after all. She admired Zhao Yuliang’s character, but that didn’t mean anything.

She could quietly treat Gan Lijun’s body, but she couldn’t provide Zhao’s mother with spiritual energy treatment simply because she admired her son. She wasn’t that saintly, nor was she so magnanimous.

So even though she knew that Zhao’s mother was suffering from cancer, Huo Sining didn’t act rashly.

However, before she left the hospital, Huo Sining still gave Zhao Yuliang a phone number, indicating that if he encountered any difficulties in the future and needed help, he could contact her, and maybe she could offer assistance.

With money in hand and his mother’s surgery issue successfully resolved, Zhao Yuliang didn’t think he had any need for help.

But Huo Sining truly had helped him immensely, and he was grateful for her kindness. Thus, when Huo Sining handed him the phone number, he didn’t refuse it but instead solemnly kept it.

At this time, Zhao Yuliang didn’t know that this seemingly insignificant act would provide crucial help for a major turning point in his fate to come.

By the end of May, Wu Jun and Li Quan sent news from Imperial Capital – ”Guan Yu Beauty Studio’s” flagship store in Imperial Capital had been completed.

Upon hearing this news, Huo Sining and Bai Yishan were of course overjoyed, and they took a flight to Imperial Capital on the same day they received the message.

Of course, Su Qingqing, the ever-present tagalong, was also part of the entourage.

Although this guy said he was going with them to check out the new store, Huo Sining knew his words belied his true intent; it wasn’t so much about joining the bustle as it was about seeing his beloved.

In recent times, the relationship between Su Qingqing and Wu Jun had made rapid progress, and even with Wu Jun in the Imperial Capital, their phone calls never ceased. Huo Sining saw it all and also felt anxious for Su Qingqing.

So when Su Qingqing wanted to join them to the Imperial Capital, Huo Sining did not expose her little scheme but nodded in agreement.

From receiving the phone call to arriving at Wangfujing in the Imperial Capital, it took merely five hours.

Bai Yishan and Su Qingqing were both looking at their new store with eyes full of wonder.

As a flagship store, the decoration style in the Imperial Capital was vastly different from the S City studio. Whether considering the size or the decor, this store was undoubtedly much more luxurious than the discreet studio on S City’s Antique Street.

This was the renovation style that Huo Sining had requested from the start. After all, the spending level in the Imperial Capital was not the same as in S City, and plus, their new store was located at Wangfujing. Opening a shop here, one must first rely on outward appearance to attract customers before the quality of the products inside.

Of course, Huo Sining was also uncompromising about the quality of the products in store. With the Heavenly Eye, an almost cheating tool, she had no worries about sourcing. Thus, she demanded only the most upscale products for the new store, from the materials to the finished styles.

Bai Yishan initially had some objections to this, as she was running the Guan Yu Beauty Studio and now the products in Huo Sining’s Imperial Capital store were even better than those in her studio, giving her the feeling of being upstaged. This made her somewhat uncomfortable.

But after arriving in the Imperial Capital and seeing the store’s location and decoration, any bit of dissatisfaction in Bai Yishan’s heart completely disappeared. Huo Sining was simply too wealthy; after the store was renovated, it became so beautiful that it was hard to take one’s eyes off it.

Bai Yishan had just entered the store and was already dazzled, looking around like someone who hadn’t seen the world, to the point of almost drooling.

Bai Yishan had seen this kind of modern decoration while studying in France, the luxurious shops along the Champs-Elysees were not unknown to her.

But those were other people’s stores and had nothing to do with her. However, the store before her eyes was a joint enterprise with Huo Sining. This gave her a visual and visceral shock that was entirely different and deeply impacting; it struck right at her heart’s core.

”What do you think?” Huo Sining asked Bai Yishan and Su Qingqing with a smile.

Su Qingqing nodded without hesitation, ”It’s so beautiful, I can’t find the words to describe it!”

Bai Yishan took a long moment to come back to her senses, as if answering Huo Sining’s question yet seemingly muttering to herself, ”The decor could definitely rival those shops on Paris’s fashion streets. It may soon become a landmark of Wangfujing!”

Hearing Bai Yishan’s words, Huo Sining burst into laughter, ”You’re not being modest!”

The three of them entered the store and were quickly noticed by the staff inside.

There were several decoration workers doing the final touches with the furnishings, and a few women in professional attire directing them. As soon as they saw Huo Sining and her companions walk in, one of the female staff members approached them with a smile beaming.

”Can I help you with anything?”
