Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 603: Chapter 601: Don’t Mess with Women

As soon as Lin Wenwan saw Zhao Mingcheng, the expression on her face changed. Zhao Mingcheng had been harassing her for quite some time, and she had always rejected him without mincing words.

But Lin Wenwan could never have imagined that this man would actually pursue her into the store, which left her somewhat at a loss.

Lin Wenwan was caught off guard and Zhao Mingcheng grabbed her wrist. Hearing his suggestive words, she felt nauseous and instinctively tried to break free from Zhao Mingcheng’s grasp.

Unfortunately, Lin Wenwan was just a slim and delicate girl, so how could she be a match for Zhao Mingcheng? After struggling in vain, she failed to escape his iron grip and snapped with a face as cold as frost, ”Mr. Zhao, I am not familiar with you. Please show some respect!”

If Zhao Mingcheng could be sent away so easily with just a few words, Huo Sining wouldn’t have been played by him in circles in her last life.

Instead of letting go, Zhao Mingcheng’s hold on Lin Wenwan’s wrist only grew tighter in response to her ineffectual words.

Not stopping there, when being gentle didn’t work, he resorted to force, pulling Lin Wenwan toward the exit while speaking,

”Wanwan, I’m sincere about you. Today’s my birthday, I’ve booked a place in Seattle. Let’s go have dinner and talk, shall we?”

Lin Wenwan panicked and struggled as she cried out, ”What are you talking about? I have nothing to do with you! Zhao Mingcheng, let go of me! Release me, or I’m calling the police!”

Upon hearing Lin Wenwan threaten to call the police, Zhao Mingcheng’s face turned dark in an instant.

Seeing this, the store’s staff members started to gather to help, but Zhao Mingcheng scoffed and gave them a fierce look, barking, ”Whoever dares to stop me will be sent by me to the station for tea!”

Hearing this, the staff hesitated. Zhao Mingcheng’s brazen attitude made it clear to the staffers that he was no ordinary person. They were just ordinary citizens and it wasn’t worth it for them to offend someone they couldn’t afford to provoke just to stick up for a colleague.

With this in mind, a look of fear flashed in their eyes as they weighed the pros and cons and unconsciously took a few steps back.

Seeing their reaction, Zhao Mingcheng turned and sneered at Lin Wenwan, ”Call the police? Go ahead, it’s your spoiled attitude! You’re so pampered you think you’re a hotshot. You wretched woman, if you won’t drink a toast, you’ll have to drink a forfeit!”

With that, Zhao Mingcheng yanked Lin Wenwan harshly, intent on dragging her out.

Seeing this situation, Huo Sining immediately became angry. She already had grievances with Zhao Mingcheng, and now that he had come to her store to create a ruckus and kidnap someone right in front of her, it was a direct slap in her face. How could she sit by and do nothing?

Huo Sining exchanged a look with Su Qingqing. They positioned themselves to the left and right of the door, effectively blocking Zhao Mingcheng’s path.

”Mr. Zhao, please release her!”

Lin Wenwan struggled in his grasp, leaving Zhao Mingcheng unable to free his hands to deal with anyone else. Seeing someone blocking his way, he became furious and shouted with a dark expression, ”Get out of my way!”

Huo Sining scoffed, ”Do you think you own the Imperial Capital and can act as you please? Mr. Zhao, I advise you not to dig your own grave. When the time comes, no one will be able to save you!”

Hearing Huo Sining’s words, Zhao Mingcheng gave her a contemptuous glance and laughed heartily, ”Dig my own grave? Little sister, are you sure you’re talking to me? Here in Wangfujing, don’t you see who I am that you dare to act wildly?”

Speaking of which, Zhao Mingcheng’s face darkened as he said menacingly, ”Get the hell out of my way, or don’t blame me for being rude to you!”

”I might not know who you are, but you’re saying you’ll be rude to me?” Huo Sining sneered, tilting her head to give Su Qingqing a signal with her eyes.

Instantly catching on, the next second, Su Qingqing delivered a high kick straight towards Zhao Mingcheng.

Su Qingqing’s Taekwondo skills, having earned her a green belt, had subdued Uyghur gangsters in Hetian before. Dealing with someone like Zhao Mingcheng was just a small case for her.

With one kick, Zhao Mingcheng screamed miserably.

Su Qingqing was not one to be soft-hearted. As Zhao Mingcheng tried to strike back, she landed a punch hard and then, grabbing his arm, she twisted it backwards, making a cracking sound as Zhao Mingcheng was forced onto the ground, his face turning pale.

Meanwhile, Huo Sining hurried to help Lin Wenwan, who had fallen to the ground. Lin Wenwan’s wrist had just been grabbed by Zhao Mingcheng, and now that she was free, a circle of bruises could be seen on her wrist.

In the scuffle, several buttons from Lin Wenwan’s clothing had come undone. To prevent her from exposing herself, Huo Sining quickly stepped in front of Lin Wenwan and tore off her scarf to tie around her neck.

With red-rimmed eyes, Lin Wenwan choked up and thanked Huo Sining, who patted her shoulder and said a few words of comfort before turning to look at Zhao Mingcheng sprawled on the ground:

”Zhao Mingcheng, the beating you got today is a lesson for you. If you dare to bother Miss Lin Wenwan again, I guarantee you’ll regret being born into this world!”

Huo Sining directly called out Zhao Mingcheng’s name, but he had just caught his breath. He was completely consumed by rage, his eyes almost shooting flames, and failed to notice this unusual detail. He glared at Huo Sining furiously:

”Bitch! Let me go if you have the guts! Do you believe I’ll have someone kill you!?”

At this point, Zhao Mingcheng was unaware that such behavior was tantamount to courting death. There’s a saying in this world, ”Never provoke a woman,” another that goes ”A woman can be as venomous as a scorpion,” and yet another, ”Women and villains are hard to raise...”

In any case, Huo Sining was furious. The grudge between her and Zhao Mingcheng from her past life, coupled with his insolence in this life, made her want to rush at him and slap the scoundrel hard across the face.

But she didn’t do that. Instead, she silently took out some itch powder that Yan Feng had specially made from her space.

A flick of the fingernail drew no attention, and the moment the powder from under her fingernail touched Zhao Mingcheng’s face, Huo Sining’s lips curved into a smirk of triumph. She said to Su Qingqing:

”Throw him out. Having this kind of person here is simply an eyesore and nauseating!”

Su Qingqing nodded, gave Zhao Mingcheng a shove, and sent the scum rolling several times on the ground, until he reached the doorway. Scrambling up quickly, he turned to the onlooking staff and yelled:

”Listen up! If these two women get away, your shop can forget about staying in business!”

After spouting these words, Zhao Mingcheng did not forget to turn back and threaten Huo Sining and Su Qingqing: ”You just wait for what’s coming to you!”

Watching Zhao Mingcheng scramble to a car parked not far from the doorway and quickly drive away with the accelerator floored, Su Qingqing spat disdainfully and burst into roaring laughter.
