Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 614: Chapter 611 The Twelve Beauties of Jinling

The weight of the title ”President of the Jade Association” bore down, and Chen Jingjing was instantly rendered speechless, her face alternating between shades of green and white. After glancing at Qin Lianshan and then at her uncle, she dejectedly led the troublemakers away.

Just as Huo Sining finished dealing with the situation, the opening ceremony of the exhibition was coming to a close.

”Pop pop pop pop,” with the sound of firecrackers, the doors of the exhibition center opened, and a large crowd of visitors streamed in. The spacious exhibition hall was packed with jewelers and jewelry enthusiasts from all around the world.

Such a jewelry exhibition served not only as a stage for jewelry companies to showcase their strength but also as the prime venue for exchange and sharing information among peers in the jewelry and jade industry, including jewelry designers.

Of course, in addition to tourists and peers, the exhibition also attracted some small jewelry shop owners from various regions.

These jewelers did not belong to any company, nor did they have the capability to purchase raw materials and craft their own jewelry; they could only maintain their operations by buying finished jewelry from other companies.

Therefore, their purpose in visiting the jewelry exhibition was straightforward: to acquire jewelry within their budget from the exhibition’s offerings.

And these individuals were precisely the important potential clients for the jewelry companies.

Beyond that, this Beijing jewelry exhibition also drew the attention of jewelry brand companies from countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan. They were very interested in such jewelry trade shows and sent professional buyers from their companies to engage in jewelry procurement and brand representation talks.

The models Wu Jun had found this time were very professional, and who knows where he had invited them from. As soon as they entered the booth, they each took their positions, not only standing out but also not obstructing the staff members’ access in any way.

From their placement and posture, Huo Sining could tell that these people were not in the same league as the temporary models that had been hired.

These individuals were also extremely particular about wearing the jewelry, unlike some jewelry companies that would welcome any piece on their body—what type of jewelry to wear with what apparel, what color to match, they all had their own calculations, something Huo Sining and her colleagues need not worry about.

Once these people wore the jewelry, indeed, each one of them appeared noble and elegant, with an otherworldly charm. Not at all overshadowed by the jewels, instead, they became even more captivating.

”Wu Jun, where did you invite these people from? These don’t seem like models, but professional jewelry fashion appraisers, right?”

Seeing that the models were ready, Huo Sining nodded her head in satisfaction.

Although their company was not large, what mattered was not the quantity but the quality. They were known for high-grade jadeite, so naturally, they pursued the highest quality in everything.

When Wu Jun heard Huo Sining say this, he looked up at her, then guiltily lowered his eyes.

Could he mention that these were professional models from a team found by their team leader? But the team leader had said not to tell the boss about this—so should he say it or not?

Wu Jun was still contemplating this issue when Huo Sining had already turned to attend to other matters. Her question had been casual, without any intention of pursuing the matter further.

The jade jewelry brought by Huo Sining this time, even the ordinary inlaid pieces, were made of materials above the ”mutton fat” grade.

Not only that, but she also brought a signature treasure of the shop, believing that once it was on display, it would absolutely astonish the crowd, causing other jewelry companies to pale in comparison.

The exhibition started at nine o’clock, but the opening ceremony went on until ten.

Shortly after ten, staff members of the exhibition began to notify exhibitors that Jade Association personnel would soon bring domestic and foreign jewelry franchisees for inspections, and if they found suitable companies, they would seek private negotiations for cooperation after the exhibition.

This news immediately set many jewelry companies at the exhibition abuzz, with each bringing out their most treasured items, determined to make a notable impression at the jewelry show.

Huo Sining was certainly ready as well; she retrieved a rosewood box from the safe, which she had found while hunting for treasures on Antique Street.

After Yan Feng had finished carving the jewelry she needed, she had been contemplating which box would be best to store the pieces, eventually purchasing the rosewood box when she stumbled upon it on Antique Street.

Seeing Huo Sining take a purplish-gray wooden box out of the safe, Bai Yishan immediately became curious.

In fact, Bai Yishan had noticed this item when Huo Sining brought it from S City, but Huo Sining had deliberately kept people in suspense, locking the box in a safe after arriving at the Imperial Capital, so even Bai Yishan did not know what exactly was inside it.

However, seeing Huo Sining’s careful handling, Bai Yishan could guess without asking that the contents must be of great value, probably Huo Sining’s trump card for this trip.

After wiping the most important showcase once more with a red silk cloth, Huo Sining carefully opened the rosewood box and took out the hidden items.

The colorful jewelry under the lights became even more lustrous and brilliant, the dazzling array of colors made it hard for people to keep their eyes open.

Not just the models inside the booth, but also the tourists outside were wide-eyed, exclaiming:

”What beautiful hairpins! What material are they made of, jadeite?”

Bai Yishan, gazing at the twelve differently colored jade hairpins on the display, was no less shocked than the others.

Indeed, what Huo Sining had taken out was a set of finished jewelry recently carved by Yan Feng, named ”Twelve Beauties of Jinling.”

The set consisted of twelve hairpins, all carved from superior jadeite, including colors such as Violet, Chicken Oil Yellow, Red Fei, Little Colorless, Yang Green, and Blue Water Piao Hua, with two hairpins for each color.

These six colors of jade hairpins were at least of High Ice Type Jadeite, with Yang Green, Little Colorless, and Chicken Oil Yellow achieving the level of Glass Type.

The twelve jade hairpins were crafted with a filigree inlay technique and the ornaments on the hairpins were inlaid with gold, with jade of the same color set into the ornaments.

Meticulous patterns were engraved on the hairpins, and at the tops of the hairpins, twelve different kinds of flowers were carved, corresponding to the Twelve Beauties in ”Dream of the Red Chamber,” giving the hairpins an incredibly lifelike appearance.

Such a set of exquisite jade hairpins was indeed lavish, not to mention that the hollow carving technique was already highly uncommon – just the assembly of the six distinct colors of High Icy Jade alone was not something an ordinary person could accomplish.
