Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 611: Chapter 609: If You’re Looking, Look for the Big Boss

”Is that all settled?!”

Seeing Huo Sining snap his fingers at her after hanging up the phone, Bai Yishan was somewhat surprised and incredulous, ”Who on earth did you call? How did you manage to be so impressive?”

Huo Sining smiled proudly, ”Qin Lianshan, the president of the Imperial Capital Jade Association!”

”My god!” This time, it wasn’t just Bai Yishan, even Su Qingqing couldn’t help but curse.

Directly seeking the big boss, no wonder he got it all settled with just one call.

”How do you know the president of the Jade Association?” Su Qingqing was a bit curious.

Huo Sining laughed, ”Haven’t you met him too? When we were in Tengchong, Master Qin was there as well.”

Su Qingqing widened her eyes in astonishment, ”You mean that old Mr. Qin? He’s the president of the Imperial Capital Jade Association?”

Huo Sining nodded, ”Qin Tian and Ouyang Jun are even his grandson and grandson-in-law. I met him when I was in the Imperial Capital, and just happened to help him out while in Tengchong, so he was so forthcoming when I asked for his help. Otherwise, who do you think would always be so responsive?”

”Well, that explains it...” Bai Yishan nodded, ”This jewelry exhibition is organized by the Imperial Capital Jade Association. Since Master Qin is the president, securing an exhibition spot for us wouldn’t be hard. Now I can finally relax; we just wait for the notice to go sign the agreement.”

Indeed, shortly after Qin Lianshan’s call ended, Bai Yishan received a call from the organizing staff of the Jade Association. From the cautious tone of the staff member on the phone, Bai Yishan could imagine what had just happened at the Jade Association a few minutes ago.

”Miss Bai, hello, that... there was a mistake made by our staff earlier. Your exhibition spot application does meet our criteria for this jewelry exhibition. Please come to our association to sign the contract agreement the day after tomorrow; we are sorry for the inconvenience caused by our staff’s negligence...”

Bai Yishan said with a smile, ”Don’t worry, as long as the exhibition spot isn’t canceled, it’s fine.”

The person on the phone hung up nervously, and Bai Yishan didn’t make much of it. Two days later, following the notice, she went to sign the agreement at the office building of the organizer’s location. She was led by a staff member to Panjiayuan to see Jade Beauty’s exhibition spot and was stunned, her mouth agape.

The exhibition spot for Jade Beauty was in a very prominent position - although it could not compare with some of the big international jewelry companies’ spots, it was still very impressive domestically.

”Although Master Qin didn’t say anything, it looks like he still pulled some strings for us.”

After Bai Yishan informed Huo Sining about Jade Beauty’s booth location, Huo Sining knew there had to be Qin Lianshan’s hand behind this. She didn’t feel much about it, but Bai Yishan was thrilled.

Bai Yishan knew how precious such an exhibition spot was. Even the best wine needs to come out of the alley; Jade Beauty’s product quality and style are top-notch, but having such a conspicuous booth at this jewelry exhibition would greatly increase their chances to shine and get noticed.

At this moment, Bai Yishan was immensely grateful for the decision she made before. Although sharing half of the shares with Huo Sining was a difficult choice that came after a long internal struggle, through this incident, Bai Yishan deeply realized that her choice was not wrong at all.

The jewelry exhibition was indeed an opportunity for those small jewelry companies, because Panjiayuan only provided a platform for the multitude of jewelry companies, but who could dazzle at the exhibition depended entirely on their own skill. Even if the president of the Jade Association came, without good products, customers wouldn’t be convinced.

Jade Beauty happened to have high-quality products with unique designs, as well as the influence of the master sculptor, Yan Feng, coupled with a position close to the front, Bai Yishan believed that this time they could definitely outshine those big jewelry companies at the exhibition.

Early the next morning, Huo Sining and Bai Yishan rushed to Panjiayuan, where the models that Wu Jun and Li Quan had found had already arrived at the scene early.

Since the exhibition had not yet started, outsiders could not enter, and each booth had only staff busy arranging the exhibition stands and the glass cases.

With the advance plan and procedural steps provided by Bai Yishan and the help from Qin Lianshan, they also found a person from the Jade Association who gave them a lot of advice and suggestions last night, the setup of Jade Beauty’s display case went very smoothly, and was all done before eight o’clock.

At this time, the bank also sent people over with the jadeite jewelry that Yan Feng had shipped, and also provided two security guards for full-time escort.

The service was quite good. Huo Sining really hadn’t expected that the banks, always so full of swagger, could be this considerate. It verified the saying, ”Money makes the world go round,” and nowadays only money could make you a boss.

In addition to the ordinary jewelry placed at the booth, this time Huo Sining had brought over a special set of jadeite jewelry,

which she had commissioned Yan Feng to carve and design specifically after her trip to Tengchong for gambling on stones at the end of April, and brought back to S City. For this purpose, Huo Sining brought a small safe, pretending she had put the jewelry in the safe, but in fact, she had stored the set of jewelry in her storage ring.

This set of jewelry, Huo Sining planned to bring out after the start of the exhibition in order to create a sensational effect. As for the other pieces of jadeite, she let Wu Jun arrange them in the positions they had previously set up.

After arranging these matters and seeing that there was still nearly half an hour before the exhibition started, Huo Sining and Bai Yishan went off to have breakfast first.

When they returned to the exhibition center after breakfast, they hadn’t reached the display counter of Jade Beauty yet when they heard the shrill voice of a woman:

”A tiny studio dares to compare itself with Chen’s Jewelry Company? Don’t you see your place in the mirror? Your junk doesn’t deserve such a good booth at the exhibition. Jade Beauty, what a big talker!”

Upon hearing this, Huo Sining, even if she were any slower, would know that this voice was targeting their booth.

By this time, there were only five minutes left until the exhibition started. Huo Sining glanced at her watch, sped up, and ran to their location, with Bai Yishan, who knew something was wrong, following closely behind.

Sure enough, upon arriving at the booth, Huo Sining saw a woman in her twenties gesturing instructively towards the staff and models inside their booth.

Not just that, there were several unfamiliar young people in the booth as well, seemingly wanting to tamper with their display case.

”What’s going on here? Who allowed you to touch my things here?”

Huo Sining’s face was ashen, glaring at the woman: ”I advise you better scram quickly, otherwise don’t blame us for getting physical!”
