Urban Martial Saint

Looking at Li Chengxing’s cold, smug face, Mad Dog slowly wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his eyes stubborn and resolute.

”Regret? I did this for Ye not to gain favors from him, but to repay him for saving me last time. So, there’s no talk of regret!” Mad Dog scoffed, saying, ”If there’s any regret, it’s that I didn’t kill you!”

”Big talk!” Li Chengxing lifted his foot and savagely kicked Mad Dog in the head, swearing as he did, ”Kill me? Do you have the means? You losers, what’s the difference between you and beggars, thinking of killing me? Do you have the skills to kill me? Damn it, in a while your brothers will all be in here, then how about I bury you together, huh?

You talk about loyalty, burying together, that would be real loyalty!”

Mad Dog’s face bled from nose and mouth as he was kicked, trying to back away but he couldn’t avoid the blows. Suddenly seizing an opportunity, he bit down hard on Li Chengxing’s leg.

”Ah!” Li Chengxing screamed in agony and hurriedly retreated, but Mad Dog didn’t let go, biting down until blood showed.

”Pull him off! Pull him off!” Li Chengxing yelled loudly, and a few of his underlings rushed over, trying to pry Mad Dog’s mouth open.

”Hmm!” With a growl that sounded almost like madness, Mad Dog pulled back forcefully, tearing a piece of flesh from Li Chengxing’s leg.

Li Chengxing clutched his leg and rolled on the ground in pain for a good while before gradually stopping, convulsing in pain as he gritted his teeth and sat in the chair.

”Beat them to death alive!” Li Chengxing said through clenched teeth, pointing at Mad Dog and his comrades, and bellowed, ”Dogs, all fucking dogs. Kill them, kill them, and throw them into the sea, I’ll make it so Ye Qing won’t even see your bone scraps!”

Li Chengxing’s men immediately picked up machetes and walked toward Mad Dog and his comrades, who turned pale and huddled together, helplessly watching the men approach.

Just then, several people suddenly rushed in from outside, the leader being the very underling he had just sent out.

”Why have you come back? Didn’t I send you to capture those people?” Li Chengxing asked furiously.

”Eldest Brother, we... we caught them...” the underling’s voice trembled.

Li Chengxing turned to look, and indeed two men followed behind, members of Mad Dog’s group.

”Drag them over and kill them together!” Li Chengxing waved his hand in irritation, then turned to glare at Mad Dog and snarled, ”Damn it, all your men are in my hands now. Mad Dog, even in death, no one will know how you died. This ’Mr. Ye’ won’t even know what you did for him, loyalty, fuck, do you think you’re qualified to talk about loyalty?”

As the words fell, a chilling voice suddenly rang in his ear.

”So, what does it take to be qualified to talk about loyalty?”

Li Chengxing froze for a moment, trying to turn around, but then a hand grabbed his neck and lifted him right off the couch. In the face of this hand, Li Chengxing could offer no resistance, as defenseless as a chicken in its grip.

”You... you...” Li Chengxing struggled to look, only to see a man towering like a steel tower, it was Black Bear.

Next to Black Bear stood a man, it was Ye Qing. He watched Li Chengxing calmly, his face emotionless, but his eyes twinkled with a daunting cold light!

Li Chengxing’s expression immediately stiffened as he finally noticed that the people who had come in with his underling were not his men at all. Ye Qing and Black Bear had mixed in among them to get in.

”Ye!” Mad Dog exclaimed with joy, incredulously looking at Ye Qing, never imagining that he would see Ye Qing again.

Ye Qing gave him a slight smile, and the dozen men with him had already rushed forward, scattering Chen Changxing’s men.

Li Chengxing’s men were actually quite numerous and were armed. But the sight of Ye Qing and Black Bear paralyzed them with fear, and none dared to resist.

The dozen men had been sent by Li Lianshan to support Ye Qing, and they helped Mad Dog and his companions up. Mad Dog hurriedly wiped the blood from his face with his sleeve, standing against the wall, his body bent from pain, but his head was held high!

Watching Mad Dog and his comrades, Ye Qing also felt a pang of sorrow. These men normally wouldn’t dare to provoke a big gang like Fu Bang, and even characters like Scarface Lee under Old Lin could easily bully them. These small forces, in fact, were nothing but low-level thugs, with no backers, no money, no manpower; it was already good if others didn’t bully them, let alone offend any big shots.

Yet now, when Ye Qing was in trouble, they had unhesitatingly faced off against a big gang like Fu Bang. Such loyalty was enough for Ye Qing to treat them like his own brothers!

”Dog, are you alright?” Ye Qing asked.

Mad Dog straightened up and laughed, ”I won’t die!”

”That’s good!” Ye Qing nodded, pointing to the sofa over there. ”Go sit down first, I’ll avenge you!”

”No need!” Mad Dog laughed heartily, ”We won’t be brought down by these trash. Eldest Brother, we can stand!”

Ye Qing felt a warmth in his heart, Mad Dog’s character was truly strong. He would definitely make a good soldier.

Hearing Mad Dog’s words, Li Chengxing felt extremely annoyed. Yet, seeing Ye Qing, he collapsed again. He had personally witnessed Ye Qing’s prowess last time and knew that he and his men were no match for Ye Qing.

”Mr. Ye, you... you came back so soon...” Li Chengxing smiled awkwardly and said, ”My uncle was just saying that with your ability, Mr. Ye, those police couldn’t possibly catch you!”

”Knowing that those police can’t catch me, why did you still add insult to injury?” Ye Qing looked at Li Chengxing calmly and said, ”You should know who is now living in Tian Sheng.”

”I... I didn’t know...” Li Chengxing quickly denied.

”Just because you say you didn’t know, does it really mean you didn’t know?” Ye Qing slowly shook his head. ”Li Chengxing, you really are heartless. There are currently over eighty children living in Tian Sheng, yet you actually thought of setting fire to it. If you want to trouble me, just come at me, why involve innocent people? Do you even realize how many lives your fire would have claimed?”

Li Chengxing’s mouth opened, and he said, ”I... really didn’t know...”

”Didn’t know?” Black Bear suddenly threw Li Chengxing against the wall and yelled furiously, ”I think your head is muddled. Let me clear it up for you, shall I?”

As Black Bear spoke, he banged Li Chengxing against the wall several more times. With Black Bear’s immense strength, Li Chengxing was like a toy in his hands, with no chance to resist. Each collision with the wall caused Li Chengxing excruciating pain, until he finally couldn’t help but say, ”I know, I know, let me go...”

Ye Qing said coldly, ”Since you know, shouldn’t you pay the price for what you’ve done?”

Li Chengxing shouted angrily, ”I didn’t even burn them, and you... you’ve beaten me to this state, what else do you want?”

”I think, for such matters, you must be given a profound reminder. Otherwise, you might not repent in the future!” Ye Qing walked up to Li Chengxing, suddenly grabbed his wrist, and with a forceful twist, broke Li Chengxing’s wrist.

”Ah!” Li Chengxing let out a thunderous scream and bellowed, ”Ye, you... you dare to break my arm, my... my uncle won’t let you off, our Fu Bang won’t let you off...”

Ye Qing asked coldly, ”If Fu Bang wants to trouble me, I am always ready. However, remember this well, direct your grievances at me, Ye Qing, if you must. But if you think to harm innocents, especially those children, then don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

As Ye Qing spoke, he suddenly grabbed Li Chengxing’s right leg and with a powerful elbow strike to the knee, twisted and broke the leg. The intense pain left Li Chengxing’s screams hoarse, and he lost all strength to curse.

Ye Qing waved his hand at Black Bear, who then threw Li Chengxing to the side. Ye Qing turned his head to Li Chengxing’s subordinates and said to Mad Dog, ”Payback exactly how they hit you. Once done, consider the debt settled!”

”Yes!” Mad Dog was hugely excited, walked directly to the table to grab a liquor bottle, and charged at the person in the front.

Seeing Mad Dog aggressively advancing, the man instinctively tried to lift his machete to block. Black Bear ran over, grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up, and said, ”Who told you to move? Stand still and take your beating! If you don’t want to be hit, I’ll fight you instead, how about that?”

The man instantly lost his fight, trembling as he ducked and covered his head on the ground. Mad Dog and his brothers rushed up, surrounded Li Chengxing’s subordinates, and beat them wildly, returning all the previous abuse.

After nearly ten minutes, Mad Dog and the others finally stopped, breathing heavily. In fact, Li Chengxing’s subordinates did not suffer injuries as severe as theirs did, because Mad Dog and his brothers were already injured.

Ye Qing watched silently from the side and when Mad Dog and the others stopped, he asked, ”Finished?”

”Finished!” Mad Dog wiped the blood and sweat from his forehead and looked at Ye, ”Eldest Brother, are you satisfied? If not, I can keep going.”

Ye Qing smiled faintly and asked back, ”Are you satisfied?”

Mad Dog and a few brothers exchanged glances and shouted, ”We’ve never been this satisfied in our lives!”

Indeed, Mad Dog and his brothers had only been bullied before; when had they ever had a chance to take such gratifying revenge? This time, they actually got to beat up Fu Bang’s men; how could they not be satisfied?

”If you’re satisfied, then I am satisfied!” Ye Qing stood up, walked over, and patted Mad Dog on the shoulder, then turned to look coldly at Li Chengxing, who lay curled up and powerless to even groan on the ground.

”All of you listen to me!” Ye Qinglang proclaimed loudly, ”From today onward, Mad Dog and these people are my, Ye Qing’s, brothers. Whatever they do, I, Ye Qing, will take responsibility. My brothers won’t intentionally bully others, but nobody should think of bullying my brothers either!”
