Urban Martial Saint

”Ah?” Before Ye Qing could speak, Ou Keren exclaimed in surprise first.

Ou Keren didn’t know who Fire Butterfly was, but seeing Fire Butterfly’s assertive methods, she was truly shocked. And now, with Fire Butterfly’s startling statement, it was difficult for her, a young girl, to accept.

Ye Qing also frowned; he was still trying to figure out whether Fire Butterfly’s words were meant as praise or criticism. After all, Fire Butterfly was known to be extremely capricious, and who knew what her words truly meant.

Fire Butterfly ignored Ou Keren and looked sincerely at Ye Qing, ”Your personality is a lot like my brother’s. I think you two would have a lot to talk about.”

Ye Qing let out a long breath; he had thought Fire Butterfly was speaking sarcastically. Ou Keren also breathed a sigh of relief for no reason, sneaking a glance at Ye Qing. Seeing nothing unusual about his expression, she felt an inexplicable sense of joy.

”Don’t worry, although I, Chen Si, am a woman, I would not engage in such despicable and shameless behavior,” Fire Butterfly said: ”Once you’ve recovered from your injuries, we can fight again. However, this morning, we didn’t finish our ten moves before I took Lin Tianhao away, and that was my mistake. So, I owe you a fair fight!”

After Fire Butterfly finished speaking, she clapped lightly, and the two women immediately went out and brought in a black sack.

”This is what I owe you,” said Fire Butterfly, gesturing dismissively, ”What I owe you, I’ve repaid. So, from now on, I don’t owe you anything. I’ll say it again, the next time we meet, I might not be so merciful.”

Ye Qing looked at the black sack and then at Fire Butterfly, filled with confusion. He didn’t know what was inside the sack.

”Oh, and this,” Fire Butterfly casually threw a disc to Ye Qing, ”There should be some important information on it. I found it well hidden on his person; take a look when you get back.”

Ye Qing caught the disc and finally asked, ”Who is he?”

Fire Butterfly replied, ”He Ziqiang!”

”Ah?” Ou Keren was the first to exclaim in shock and hurriedly ran over to open the black sack, revealing a tightly bound person inside, who turned out to be He Ziqiang.

”He Ziqiang!” Ou Keren’s face changed drastically, as he was an international thief wanted in Xiangjiang for two full years. She had exhausted all efforts and risked her life trying to catch him, only for him to escape every time. This man had caused the Xiangjiang Police great embarrassment and was the case she had been on for two years.

Ou Keren had just returned to Xiangjiang and was assigned to handle the case involving He Ziqiang. To catch him, she expended countless efforts, but each failure was a painful blow. Because of this case, her position in the Xiangjiang Police department had plummeted.

Coming to Huaxia to work with the Mainland police this time, she was just giving it a try, never expecting to catch He Ziqiang in Shenchuan City.

After seeing Ye Qing, she suddenly had a glimmer of hope, so she followed Ye Qing, hoping to catch He Ziqiang through him. But she never expected that this cunning international thief would be presented to her, tied up tight by a woman. The international thief who had once stymied the Xiangjiang Police and caused them to lose face was finally in her hands!

Ye Qing glanced at He Ziqiang and said in a deep voice, ”Where is Lin Tianhao?”

”I didn’t kill him; you have all the time in the world to play with him,” Fire Butterfly turned to leave and accidentally glanced at the pack of steel needles on the table inside the room.

She immediately stopped in her tracks, staring at the steel needles and examining them carefully.

Ou Keren’s attention was all on He Ziqiang, not noticing Fire Butterfly’s abnormal behavior. While she was carefully verifying He Ziqiang’s identity, Fire Butterfly suddenly walked up to her, raising her hand and aiming a palm strike at her.

”Be careful!” Ye Qing shouted in alarm, but it was too late to intercept.

Ou Keren reacted quickly, knowing it was too late to retreat, and hastily extended her fingers toward the acupoints on Fire Butterfly’s wrist.

As Fire Butterfly faced Ou Keren’s fingers, just as their hands were about to collide, Fire Butterfly suddenly flipped her palm, avoiding Ou Keren’s fingers and grabbed her wrist instead.

”What’s your name?” Fire Butterfly asked solemnly.

”What are you doing?” Ou Keren cried out in pain from her wrist.

It was only then that Ye Qing caught up to them, hurriedly reaching out to grab Fire Butterfly’s arm. Fire Butterfly caught Ye Qing’s arm and pushed him away with ease. Ye Qing, weak all over, was no match for Fire Butterfly and obviously couldn’t pull her away.

”What’s your name?” Fire Butterfly asked again, her expression very serious.

”Ou Keren...” Ou Keren struggled as she replied.

”You’re a Ou?” Fire Butterfly showed a hint of surprise on her face, as if it wasn’t what she had expected.

Fire Butterfly asked in a serious tone, ”What is Ning Qianshu to you?”

```
”What Ning Qianshu?” Ou Keren asked in surprise, ”I’ve never heard of this name.”
”You’ve never heard of this name?” Fire Butterfly glanced at the steel needles on the table and then back at Ou Keren, asking in wonder, ”Do you really not know Ning Qianshu? Are... are you really surnamed Ou?”
Ou Keren said, ”What’s so strange about that? I have my ID card with me, do you want to see it?”
Fire Butterfly seemed somewhat lost and slowly let go of Ou Keren’s hand, shaking her head, she said, ”Maybe I’m being too sensitive. These steel needles, any old Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner would have them, how could every one of them be Ning Qianshu...”
Fire Butterfly muttered to herself as if she had forgotten what she was supposed to be doing, turning around she slowly led her two subordinates out of the room.
”What’s wrong with her?” Ou Keren watched Fire Butterfly’s retreating figure and asked Ye Qing beside her in astonishment.
”I don’t know either.” Ye Qing was also full of surprise. Fire Butterfly’s behavior just now seemed a bit excessive, what on earth was going on? Who exactly was Ning Qianshu, and why did he cause such a huge emotional upheaval in Fire Butterfly?
”Who is she?” Ou Keren looked at Fire Butterfly’s back, her face filled with even more astonishment. This was the first time in her life she had seen such a domineering woman.
”A member of the criminal underworld,” Ye Qing assessed Fire Butterfly.
”Ah?” Ou Keren looked at Ye Qing, then back in the direction where Fire Butterfly had left, saying, ”A woman can be so powerful in the underworld?”
”There’s another one who’s even more formidable, you just haven’t seen her,” Ye Qing said offhandedly, his mind involuntarily drifting back to that queen-like woman.
Fire Butterfly was different from Poisonous Mantis, Poisonous Mantis’s beauty made it difficult to associate her with the term ’domineering’. Fire Butterfly was also beautiful, but she was more like a blazing flame; whoever came close to her would be burnt alive. Her dominance, like her personality, was aggressive and oppressive!
”There’s someone more formidable than her?” Ou Keren was even more astonished, saying, ”How could that be possible? She’s already so powerful, who could possibly be even more formidable?
Ye Qing didn’t say a word but turned around, took the bedsheets, and handed them to Ou Keren.
”What for?” Ou Keren asked curiously.
Ye Qing said, ”Cover yourself up for now.”
Only then did Ou Keren remember that her clothes had been almost entirely chopped off earlier, and now she was only wearing a black bra on her upper body, with her fair skin almost completely exposed. Plus, with her graceful figure and well-developed chest, her current appearance was enough to make anyone’s nose bleed.
”Ah!” Ou Keren exclaimed, hurriedly draping the bedsheets over herself, covering up the important parts of her body. It was only then that she remembered that when Ye Qing was talking to her just now, he had always looked in another direction. It seemed that Ye Qing had actually been avoiding looking at her.
Thinking of this, a warmth spread in Ou Keren’s heart. She had seen too many men who would create opportunities to sneak a peak if they didn’t have one. Yet at that moment, Ye Qing managed to maintain such decorum, something she had never seen before in her life. Looking at Ye Qing’s sharp-featured face, she suddenly realized that the man in front of her was actually quite handsome.
Ye Qing hid in the room to put his clothes on, then handed Ou Keren a jacket to wear, and the two of them finally moved past the awkward situation.
Once everything was tidied up, it was getting dark. Ye Qing contacted Black Bear first and asked him to come for a meeting, then called Zhao Chengshuang to come and arrest He Ziqiang.
This kind of great achievement, of course, should not be cheapened by others; giving it to Zhao Chengshuang was the most appropriate.
By the time Black Bear arrived, Ye Qing had already recovered a good half of his strength. If someone were to attack him again, self-defense wouldn’t be a problem. Leaving Black Bear to guard He Ziqiang in the room, Ye Qing and Ou Keren went downstairs to eat. After being busy all day, both were starving and started eating right away after ordering a bunch of food.
Before they finished eating, Zhao Chengshuang led a team of police officers to the scene.
”Ye Zi, are you alright?” Zhao Chengshuang circled Ye Qing anxiously, checking him over. After learning that Ye Qing had been shot, he had been truly worried. Now, seeing Ye Qing hopping around lively, he finally let out a sigh of relief.
”That bastard Guan Haochen is such a freaking animal in the way he operates, it’s clearly personal vengeance!” Zhao Chengshuang raged, ”Ye Zi, don’t worry, this time I will detail everything he has done in the report. Let’s see how he explains it to the provincial department leaders!”
”His matter isn’t key,” Ye Qing shook his head, said, ”First, take He Ziqiang back, don’t let him escape. There must be someone supporting him from behind. Investigate and let me know the details.”
”No problem,” Zhao Chengshuang nodded repeatedly, now very excited. If he could take He Ziqiang back, that would be a monumental achievement.
One should know that He Ziqiang was an international thief. Catching him would already be a significant achievement, let alone that this operation was the first collaboration between the Xiangjiang Police and Shenchuan City Police. If the arrest was made by someone from Shenchuan City’s side, it would be a proud moment for the country and the merit even greater.
Zhao Chengshuang understood the weight of capturing He Ziqiang. Taking him back would surely earn him another second-class merit. With two second-class merits in two months, it would be difficult for him not to be promoted!
