Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing watched Second Eagle coldly and said, ”You’d better not back down, this is the triangular military spike commonly used in the Golden Triangle, with barbs on it. Once it enters the flesh, the barbs will hook onto the flesh. As soon as the spike is removed, it will tear out a large chunk of flesh!”

Second Eagle really dared not retreat; he actually knew the power of this triangular military spike. However, it was his first time being stabbed by one, and the pain was truly unbearable.

Eagle King looked at Ye Qing in shock and asked, trembling, ”Who are you, how do you know this is a triangular military spike?”

”Deserters from the Golden Triangle swaggering around in Shenchuan City!” Ye Qing glanced at Eagle King and said, ”And you even dare call yourselves the Northern City Three Eagles. How ridiculous.”

”You... how do you know...” Eagle King was nearly paralyzed with fear; he indeed had been a mercenary in the Golden Triangle. But nobody knew about it, so how did Ye Qing know?

When Ye Qing was in the military, his main duty had been drug trafficking along the border of the Golden Triangle, so he was very familiar with the situation there. This type of triangular military spike and Eagle King’s method of attack were all commonly used in the Golden Triangle; he could naturally tell.

”I don’t want to see you again!” Ye Qing glared coldly at everyone and said, ”Scram!”

The Three Eagles were reluctant but were stopped by Eagle King. Having just taken a punch from Ye Qing, Eagle King knew that all their men combined were absolutely no match for Ye Qing.

”Ye, we won’t let this matter go so easily!” Eagle King had someone help Second Eagle up and said gravely, ”The people from the Tianqing Gang will help me settle this account!”

”Anytime!” Ye Qing replied coldly.

Eagle King didn’t dare waste words and hurriedly led his men out.

Watching these people move away, Ye Qing staggered, slowly collapsing by the bed. It wasn’t that he wanted to let these people go; he simply hadn’t fully recovered. His body was still extremely weak, and his earlier display was just an act, exhausting his last bit of strength. If the Northern City Three Eagles really did fight back, he would have been powerless to resist!

”Brother Ye...” Ou Keren gasped in alarm but was quickly silenced by Ye Qing’s hand hurriedly covering her mouth.

”Shh.” Ye Qing made a silencing gesture toward her and glanced outside. Ou Keren immediately understood and hurriedly closed her mouth.

Ye Qing collapsed by the bed while Ou Keren anxiously paced back and forth. The footsteps outside were frantic, and faintly, they could still hear Third Hawk’s cursing: ”Damn bitch, get out of the way, don’t block the path!”

They didn’t know which girl was blocking their way, but it seemed that Third Hawk was very angry. However, a scream followed shortly thereafter—and it was Third Hawk who screamed.

Ye Qing and Ou Keren’s expressions changed slightly. What on earth was happening outside?

As they wondered, more screams followed from outside and then a group hurriedly retreated, all the way back to their room.

Ye Qing hurriedly stood up, trying hard to appear less weak. Ou Keren’s heart was in her throat—could another dangerous figure have arrived?

Amid their anxiety, Third Hawk was thrown into the room and crashed heavily onto the floor, his face bloody. Eagle King supported Second Eagle, staggering back into the room surrounded by their gang members, staring in panic at the doorway, their eyes filled with disbelief.

Ye Qing and Ou Keren also looked toward the door, where two women slowly walked in.

Ou Keren was stunned; she had thought the new arrivals would be several domineering men. Unexpectedly, they were two girls. Could these two girls have driven back all those men of the Northern City Three Eagles?

Ye Qing’s expression changed; he recognized these two girls as the subordinates of Fire Butterfly. Both girls were skilled fighters, but alone, they couldn’t have driven back the dozens of men from the Northern City Three Eagles. Ye Qing knew that Fire Butterfly must be behind them.

As everyone watched in panic, Fire Butterfly, with her hands behind her back, walked in through the door. She looked indifferent, as if she didn’t regard anyone in the room seriously, even the dozen men of the Northern City Three Eagles seemed weightless in her eyes.

Third Hawk, with his head bleeding, had forgotten even to scream after seeing Fire Butterfly. He was genuinely terrified by her.

Fire Butterfly glanced at him and said softly, ”There is a price to pay for swearing!”

Third Hawk’s mouth opened but ultimately, he dared not make a sound.

Fire Butterfly ignored him and turned to Eagle King, frowning, ”You are called Eagle King?”

”Yes... yes...” Eagle King’s voice trembled, ”We... we are from the Tianqing Gang... ”

”So what?” Fire Butterfly’s face showed a trace of disdain, ”Even if Shangguan Tian and his brother Shangguan Qing saw me, they would have to behave.”

Eagle King’s eyes bulged. The Tianqing Gang was known as the most powerful gang in Shenchuan City, not without good reason, boasting formidable strength. Essentially, in Shenchuan City, there was nothing the Tianqing Gang couldn’t handle. And Shangguan Tian and Shangguan Qing were the two leaders of the Tianqing Gang, the real leaders of the underground forces in Shenchuan City.

In Shenchuan City, who would dare disrespect mention of the Tianqing Gang, or Shangguan Tian and Shangguan Qing?

Yet, based on this woman’s tone, she didn’t regard the Tianqing Gang at all. When had such a dominant woman appeared in Shenchuan City?

Eagle King stared at Fire Butterfly for a while and then, a sudden inspiration struck him and he exclaimed, ”You are the Xikou Fire Butterfly!”

Fire Butterfly responded coldly, ”Knowing my name, you should know what to do now!”

Eagle King was straightforward; he picked up a dagger from the ground and directly chopped off his own left thumb.

”Sister Huo, I was blind and ignorant, I’m sorry!” Eagle King said solemnly, the pain making his voice tremble.

Although he had just been defeated by Ye Qing and had dared to throw a few fierce words, he couldn’t muster any such defiance in front of Fire Butterfly. Fire Butterfly’s dominance was well known throughout the Eastern Province, and he didn’t dare utter any unnecessary words.

Fire Butterfly shook her head and said, ”One finger is not enough!”

”What do you really want?” Second Eagle shouted through gritted teeth, ”We brothers were blind and offended Sister Huo today. But we are all part of this world, can you give us a way to live? Must you be so ruthless?”

”The offense you committed against me would be settled by one finger. However...” Fire Butterfly gazed at Eagle King and said, ”I really don’t like the name you use. I have a friend named Eagle King, and compared to him, you fall far short. You are simply insulting the name!”

”Sister Huo, I’ll change it right now,” Eagle King quickly said. ”From now on, I’ll be called Big Eagle...”

”What I mean is, you’ve insulted my friend’s name, and that is like insulting my friend,” Fire Butterfly said, gently shaking her head and looking at Eagle King. ”Insulting my friend, at the very least, you should leave behind one hand, right?”

”What?” Eagle King turned pale, and Second Eagle and Third Hawk were even more horrified.

Eagle King was the leader of their trio; if Eagle King lost a hand, then the future for Northern City Three Eagles would also be doomed.

Eagle King murmured, ”Sister Huo, I didn’t know your friend was named Eagle King. It’s said that ignorance is no sin. Sister Huo, please give me a chance to live…”

”I already gave you a way to live,” said Fire Butterfly coldly. ”Either leave behind a hand or leave behind a life, the choice is yours.”

Eagle King looked at his own hands and then back at Fire Butterfly, facing a difficult choice.

After a long silence, Eagle King suddenly grabbed a nearby machete and exclaimed, ”Fine, I’ll leave behind one hand!”

Eagle King placed his left hand on the chair and raised the machete, but just as it was about to strike his wrist, he suddenly turned the machete’s direction and aimed it at Fire Butterfly’s thigh.

At the same time, Third Hawk, backed by a few others, charged towards Fire Butterfly, hoping to overpower her.

”Seeking death!” Fire Butterfly spat out those two words and kicked the machete right out of Eagle King’s hand. Her hands flew in motion, striking the oncoming Third Hawk and tossing him away. Third Hawk’s men were stopped by two girls standing by Fire Butterfly, and were quickly beaten back.

”Bitch, you’ve gone too far; I’ll fight you to the death!” Eagle King yelled, lifting the machete and charging at Fire Butterfly, desperately trying to fight her to the death.

Fire Butterfly, calm as still water, struck out with both palms, heavily hitting Eagle King in the chest.

Eagle King wasn’t sent flying by Fire Butterfly; instead, he stood frozen in place for a long while, and his machete never fell. After a full half minute, blood dribbled from the corner of his mouth, and he slowly fell to the ground.

”What’s wrong with leaving behind one hand? You had to insist on leaving behind your life. Though you saved your hand, your life is gone. Sometimes, people should not be too greedy,” Fire Butterfly shook her head and glanced at the underlings of the Northern City Three Eagles, saying, ”Who else wants to fight?”

Seeing Fire Butterfly’s formidable actions, who could dare to utter another word? They meekly took the bodies of Second Eagle, Third Eagle, and Eagle King and ran away.

Ye Qing and Ou Keren watched all of this in astonishment. From Ye Qing’s perspective, Fire Butterfly was not exactly a friend, and could even be described as an enemy. While it looked like Fire Butterfly had routed the Northern City Three Eagles, it was on the basis that they had offended her. Ye Qing still harbored hostility and wariness towards Fire Butterfly.

Confronted with Ye Qing’s hostility and caution, Fire Butterfly appeared quite indifferent, casually strolling to Ye Qing with hands behind her back, saying, ”You don’t have to look at me like that. I’m not here to trouble you; I came to repay a debt.”

”What debt?” Ye Qing asked sternly.

”A debt I owe you,” Fire Butterfly said, looking at Ye Qing. ”This morning at Lin family, I told you if you could withstand my ten moves, I would let you have Lin Tianhao.”

”Do you want to continue fighting?” Ye Qing asked sternly.

”I would like to fight, but not today,” Fire Butterfly said with a faint smile. ”You’re not in any shape to fight right now.”

Ye Qing responded coldly, ”Whenever you want to fight, I’m ready to accompany you!”

Fire Butterfly looked earnestly at Ye Qing for a moment, then suddenly smiled and said, ”You know, I’m actually starting to like you a bit.”
