Urban Martial Saint

(Another chapter will come a little later.)

Boss Lin looked at the woman a few more times, shook his head, and said, ”I don’t recognize her.”

”You don’t recognize her, no matter, I’ll introduce you.” Fire Butterfly looked at the bandaged woman and said, ”Her name is Tian Hong, she’s my subordinate. Three days ago, she came to Shenchuan City for some business, was kidnapped, and nearly got silenced by your people. You haven’t forgotten about this, have you!”

Boss Lin was at first stunned, then his face changed drastically as he pointed at Tian Hong with a trembling voice, ”You... you... you are that woman?”

Tian Hong was indeed the woman who conspired with the Beggar King of Tianhui City in Shenchuan City, forced by Ye Qing to amputate her own arm, and then captured by Yang Shitao’s men to be silenced by Boss Lin. She was fortunate to have survived until now and finally met Fire Butterfly.

”It seems you do know her!” Fire Butterfly waved her hand and the woman standing beside Boss Lin immediately went up and kicked him to the ground.

”What are you doing? Sister Huo, this… this has nothing to do with me, it was Yang Shitao who framed me...” Boss Lin cried out in pain, but it was already too late. The woman swiftly produced a dagger from somewhere and cut all the tendons in his hands.

”I know Yang Shitao harmed you, but since you’ve done this deed, you must pay the price!” Fire Butterfly said without a trace of mercy on her face, ”When she works outside, she carries the name of Fire Butterfly. You dared to lay a hand on her, you should have been ready for my revenge.”

Previously, Boss Lin was always the one breaking limbs, never having his own limbs broken. The intense pain in his wrists made him scream and roll on the ground, soon covered in his own blood.

”I thought the Lin family members who mingled in society had some skills, but it turns out you are just useless.” A cold smile flashed across Fire Butterfly’s face as she said, ”With just this much capability, the Lin family wants to secure a foothold in Shenchuan City? Ridiculous!”

”Big sister, might as well kill him and be done with it!” a woman next to them shouted loudly.

”No need!” Fire Butterfly shook her head and said, ”Throw him back in Shenchuan City. His life belongs to Ye Qing, it should be Ye Qing who settles the score with him!”

Not satisfied, that woman said, ”Big sister, that Ye guy is too arrogant. Why should we give him this face?”

Fire Butterfly laughed coldly and said, ”I’ve given him the face; whether or not he can hold it up is up to his skills. This also serves as an explanation to the East State Poisonous Mantis!”

No sooner had she finished speaking than the cell phone on the table suddenly rang. Fire Butterfly picked up the phone, looked at the number, and slightly frowned. After being silent for a while, she stood up and answered the call.

”How is it? Have you met the person?” Huangfu Ziyu’s voice came from the other end of the phone.

”I have met him,” replied Fire Butterfly.

”What do you think?”

”He has only learned the form of Bajiquan, not the spirit.”

”So what?” Huangfu Ziyu chuckled, ”Even if it’s just the form, he’s still the only successor of the Northern Fist King.”

Fire Butterfly said coldly, ”Don’t forget, there’s still a fool in the North.”

Huangfu Ziyu: ”But the fool hasn’t seen him.”

Upon hearing this, Fire Butterfly’s expression changed as she said solemnly, ”If it weren’t for the fact that Ye Qing had seen him, I wouldn’t have let him live. It’s been twenty years, and he’s finally appeared. The battle between my master and him should finally be settled.”

Huangfu Ziyu giggled, ”The General of Meng District gets what he wishes for, whether it be wind or rain. Why bother about that battle so much?”

Fire Butterfly said coldly, ”My master has always been dissatisfied with the outcome of that battle, the one that led to rumors claiming the Northern Fist is inferior to the Southern Fist. He wishes to personally vindicate the Northern Fist.”

Huangfu Ziyu laughed, ”If we want to vindicate the Northern Fist, why should the old man take action? Our younger generation could very well fight the battle ourselves.”

Fire Butterfly’s expression turned frosty as she said coldly, ”Huangfu Ziyu, don’t try to provoke me. I know I’m no match for you, but if I gamble with my life, you’d have to be at least half-crippled. The Chen Family still has an older brother, but you are the Huangfu Family’s last descendant. Such a gamble, is it worth it?”

Huangfu Ziyu chuckled, ”One day, I will personally fight you. East State Poisonous Mantis against Xikou Fire Butterfly, if we don’t determine a winner, wouldn’t that disappoint the people of Eastern Province?”

```
Fire Butterfly sneered and advised, ”Before this battle, you’d better find a man and have a child. The Huangfu Family must leave someone behind!”
Huangfu Ziyu replied, ”Thanks for the concern. If I ever get married, I’ll make sure to invite you for a drink.”
”I’ll definitely come!” said Fire Butterfly. ”I want to see for myself which man who isn’t afraid of death can conquer you, a Poisonous Mantis who eats people without spitting out their bones!”
Huangfu Ziyu smiled faintly and said, ”To be my man, one must prepare to lead a short life.”
”Well, I’ll wait and see who ends up being that short-lived ghost!” exclaimed Fire Butterfly before hanging up the phone abruptly.
The two women had already carried Boss Lin away, heading towards Shenchuan City. Tian Hong stood by, and seeing Fire Butterfly end the call, immediately knelt down, her voice trembling as she said, ”Eldest Sister, I know I was wrong.”
Fire Butterfly glanced at her and said, ”You realize your mistake now? If it weren’t for Poisonous Mantis saving your life, you would’ve been thrown into the sea and fed to the fishes.”
Tian Hong bowed her head in silence. The last time, she had jumped into the sea where He Ziqiang’s men were waiting for her on the shore. Fearing to go ashore, she stayed underwater and fled. Only as darkness fell did she emerge, but just as she made it to the roadside, He Ziqiang’s men caught up.
With severe injuries and having been soaked for so long, Tian Hong had no strength left to run for her life.
Luckily, two people suddenly appeared and saved her. These were Huangfu Ziyu’s people, previously arranged in Shenchuan City. As Huangfu Ziyu set off for Shenchuan City from Dongzhou, she immediately notified her contacts in Shenchuan City to take action. Even though she was in Dongzhou, she was fully aware of the events unfolding in Shenchuan City and knew about Tian Hong’s situation.
She instructed her people to rescue Tian Hong and then handed her over to Fire Butterfly. That’s why Fire Butterfly didn’t go straight to kill Ye Qing upon arriving in Shenchuan City but sought out Boss Lin first.
Fire Butterfly said sternly, ”Roll back to West Gate, and don’t even think of leaving for a year. Otherwise, I’ll break your other hand too!”
Without uttering another word, Tian Hong got up and left. Being alive was already her greatest fortune. As for revenge, she dared not even entertain the thought anymore.
The woman beside her felt a tinge of pity and said, ”Eldest Sister, this isn’t really Tian Hong’s fault. She was injured by someone; she’s a victim too...”
Fire Butterfly glared at her and said with a heavy voice, ”A victim? If she hadn’t gotten involved with the Beggar King she wouldn’t have encountered these problems. I’ve said it before, no one is to meddle in those matters. She brought this on herself. If it weren’t for her severe injuries, I would’ve punished her more severely!”
The woman immediately clamped her mouth shut, knowing that Tian Hong’s biggest mistake was getting involved with the Beggar King, which was the key to provoking Fire Butterfly’s ire.
”Where’s Yang Shitao now?” Fire Butterfly asked with a grim tone.
”He’s gone into hiding, we still don’t know where he is; our people are searching for him.” The woman paused, then added softly, ”Hearing that you arrived in Shenchuan City, he probably doesn’t dare to show his face. Eldest Sister, it might take some effort to find him!”
Fire Butterfly furrowed her brows and fell silent for a moment before saying, ”Keep searching!”
It was almost noon when Zhao Chengshuang learned about Ye Qing’s doings, and that was also when the wanted notice from the station went out. Now, Ye Qing, like He Ziqiang, was listed as a major wanted criminal.
”I’ve always said that this guy was no good. Look at that, wasn’t I right?” Guan Haochen was very satisfied with the situation, repeating, ”I heard that he might have been colluding with that He Ziqiang. This guy is clearly in cahoots with the kidnappers. Look at what he has done, how is that different from bandits and ruffians?”
Many policemen echoed Guan Haochen’s sentiments, now that the Lin family was targeting Ye Qing, they naturally stood opposed to Ye Qing as well. Moreover, some began to suspect whether Ye Qing was really in league with He Ziqiang.
Guan Haochen turned to the silent Zhao Chengshuang, taunting him, ”Captain Zhao, weren’t you particularly good friends with this Mr. Ye? Do you know where he went?”
Zhao Chengshuang furrowed his brow tightly; his mind was in turmoil. He didn’t understand what had gotten into Ye Qing, why he would suddenly go berserk and storm into the Lin family, injuring so many people. More crucially, this seemed to involve the West Gate Fire Butterfly, which deeply alarmed Zhao Chengshuang. Was this demonic woman also here for Ye Qing?
If that was the case, wasn’t Ye Qing in grave danger now?
”Captain Zhao, unwilling to speak? Is it because you want to protect your friend?” Guan Haochen continued to taunt: ”Captain Zhao, that’s not right of you. We are a disciplined force; we have rules and cannot break the law knowingly. Shielding a criminal is a serious offense. Captain Zhao, you...”
”Go fuck your mother’s leg!” Zhao Chengshuang suddenly grabbed the teacup from the table and threw it at Guan Haochen, cursing, ”Why the fuck do you talk so much?”
Zhao Chengshuang’s cup had freshly poured tea leaves and hot water in it, all of which spilled onto Guan Haochen, scalding him and causing him to jump up, frantically trying to cool himself off. Once he managed to ease the pain, he glared furiously at Zhao Chengshuang and shouted, ”What the hell are you doing? That was deliberate assault on a superior officer!
Is this how police in Shenchuan City operate? I’m going to file a complaint against you, report to the provincial office, and make you pay for what you did!”
”Complain, complain, complain your mom’s complaint. Do you really think you’re some sort of superior? That you’re some big leader? Let me tell you, I, Zhao Chengshuang, fucking don’t care about you one bit. Come bite me if you dare. Want to file a complaint against me?
Go ahead, go right now. Fuck it, I’ll just quit being a cop!” Zhao Chengshuang said, slamming his ID on the table and swearing, ”Bastard, I’m not under you anymore, go ahead and file your damn complaint!”
”You... you...” Guan Haochen quivered with rage, pointing at Zhao Chengshuang and bellowed, ”Don’t think I won’t dismiss you. I’m telling you, you’re fired. This is a police station, not a place for you. Get out right now!”
