My Alleged Husband

Chapter 1427: Chapter 1222: The Beauty of the World

The person you love is on the road, amidst a vast sea of people, only wishing to embrace you, yet it’s really difficult.

”No matter what, I still hope you can relay everything I said about you to your mother. I believe when she hears it, she will understand what it means. The things he has done, he will never forget for the rest of his life. She should know that it’s time to stand up and take responsibility. You can’t always push all the responsibility onto others. I have taken the blame for him too many times already. I won’t disturb you anymore, because we don’t have much to say to each other. For me, you’re just a child who can be taken or left, and I hold no place in your heart as your father. You believe every word your mother says, even if it’s a lie, while you refuse to believe anything I say, even if it’s the truth. Don’t be afraid if you don’t believe me. If you truly don’t believe what I said, you can go back and ask your mother face to face and see how she reacts. If your mother’s reaction is too intense or too indifferent, then what I’m saying is the truth! Sometimes, I understand that speaking such harsh truths can hurt people’s feelings and make it hard for both sides to accept. But should we let some things sink into the sea forever if we don’t talk about them? The truth will eventually be revealed someday!”

”I will relay every word you said to my mother. I hope you will never bother us again in the future. I hope you can keep your word. Since you’ve decided to give up on my mother, then you shouldn’t try to meet or contact her again. You both should change your phone numbers and not keep anything related to each other. Holding onto these things will only make you more upset, and they will prevent others from living happily and freely!”

”You only need to pass my message to your mother. Don’t worry, I don’t want you to tell us any unnecessary things about our relationship as a couple. Sometimes, all you need to do is help us convey a message to each other. You should know what kind of person your mother truly is. Someday, you will see your mother’s true face. I hope by then, you won’t regret it too much, otherwise, you might not be able to bear the pain and shock. My only wish is to see my grandson once in my lifetime. I hope I can return to my father’s side to fulfill my duty as a son. I know my father doesn’t want to see me, his unfilial son, again, but I am still his biological son. How could he just disregard me? I really wish to return to my father’s side, even if he no longer holds me, his son, in his heart. My heart tells me he is still my eternal father!”

”If you want to go see your grandfather, go see him. Grandpa really misses you. During your absence, he often wondered when you’d come back. Although he doesn’t say it, we all understand that he misses you deeply. Because he misses you, he’s fallen ill time and again. I’m worried his body can’t handle it. But now that you’ve agreed to go see him, it’s the best thing I can hope for. If you can prevent him from suffering so much, it’s what makes me happiest. I just hope my grandfather can live a happy and joyous life, enjoying his time with his family! My grandfather has led a hard and exhausting life. He’s always thought about us, the younger generation, never considering what he truly wanted. Sometimes, I really hate myself for not being able to accompany my grandfather all my life, even though he’s been so kind to me. I am reminded that I am not a saint, every decision I make comes with a cost. My grandfather worked so hard to raise and nurture me, pouring sweat and labor into my success. Yet, in the end, I couldn’t give him the happy life he deserved, because my parents aren’t with us. No matter how much I pleaded, my parents wouldn’t come back to us. My parents never considered me or my grandfather as special. I don’t understand why my parents can abandon their father, son, and grandson so easily. If they were going to abandon me only a month after I was born, why bring me into the world to suffer? Was it just to continue the family line? I’ve gone off track. I’ll stop now and leave. I’ll pass on your message. It’s best for you to talk to him yourself, lest they think I’m trying to stir trouble in your relationship!”

When Zhang Yichen came home, Zhang Ni ran over and said to Zhang Yichen, ”Dad, I want a little brother or sister. When are you and mom going to have a brother or sister for me? Playing alone in this house is too lonely. I don’t want to walk this life without a companion. I know in life, apart from my dad, there’s nothing more reliable than family blood ties. I really want a brother or sister now. I want to play with them and watch them grow up. I’ll take good care of them, feed them until they’re chubby!”

Zhang Yichen and Ran Zhihan hadn’t expected their child to say something like this. A little brother or sister? Who taught her this? How could a little kid know so much? Could his intelligence really be extraordinary? It’s unbelievable for a five-year-old to understand adult matters. Did he read someone else’s book?

”You want a brother or sister? When your mom and dad have time, we’ll give you a brother or sister, okay? Right now, your most important job is to study well. Make all those who look down on you realize that it’s their biggest mistake to underestimate you, that abandoning you is the only mistake they will never recover from. Do you understand?”

Don’t question where the path leads. Trust that the Angel will lead us to happiness.
