My Alleged Husband

Chapter 669: Chapter 640 Regret

”To be honest, right now I don’t want to ask about any of your feelings, I just want to know if you truly regret it. Do you regret abandoning me, your own son? Do you regret everything you’ve ever done? I don’t understand what you’re thinking, abandoning me over and over, hurting me again and again, and in the end still expecting to come back to this treatment. What exactly am I in your hearts? Maybe you’ve never truly regarded me as your son. But do you know? Sometimes, as your son, I feel so sad for myself. How much I’ve wished that my mom and dad could love me sincerely, but in the end, this is the outcome you’ve given me. What am I to you? I really can’t understand it in my heart, so I want to ask you here, can you tell me the truest answer? No matter what the answer is, I won’t fuss about it because I’m used to being abandoned, used to being hurt by you. Every word you say no longer poses a threat to me, no longer hurts me. I’ve become numb. But I hope you can truly answer me. Don’t think about lying, deceiving me, because that would make my heart ache even more. Because every time, my mom and dad chose to deceive me with their words, as a son, that’s incredibly painful. You’ve never cared, but please, this time, really take my thoughts into account, okay? Thank you, I’m begging you!”

”It seems you’re still holding onto this matter, but do you know? Mom and Dad really love you, because you are our biological son. No matter what we’ve done, deep in our hearts, you will always be our most cherished child. Whether you choose to continue hating us or not, in our hearts, we will always regard you as our most precious son. In this lifetime, we only have you as our child, no matter what else we’ve acquired over time. But the yearning in our hearts has always been for you, my own son. Do you know how hard these past years have been for mom and dad? We only hoped to go out and enjoy ourselves for a while, then return to your side to be with you. But in the end, we realized that all of this was just a vain wish in our own hearts, until we came back to find you and you told us of the things we did. Only then did we know, we can never return to the past. But do you know? Mom and Dad really love you, very much. You could also forgo all costs. Maybe we really can’t live like before, but do you know how much mom and dad love you in this lifetime? You can’t understand it, yet we’ve thought about it. If one day mom really decided to leave you, how much heartache and pain would you feel? But as long as you are happy and joyful in your heart, I am already very satisfied and content. I am not a greedy person, but I only hope that my mom and dad can love me, love me for a lifetime.

Do you know when I spent my lifetime trusting you, you chose to hurt me and betray me over and over again? When I sought you out with an unregrettable spirit in my lifetime, how did you treat me? You abandoned me time after time, embarrassingly, leaving me unable to return to my original state. Do you realize how much such an outcome hurts in my heart, never considering the pain of your own son? You’ve spent your lives thinking about how to deceive your own child to live the free life you wanted, never once considering what kind of consequences your actions might bring for your offspring, whether they would cause your descendants sorrow and pain!”

”Yes, child, mom and dad now truly know and regret it. If you really can forgive us, then we would be deeply grateful. If you truly can’t forgive us, then there is nothing we can do, because the final decision is in your hands. If you choose to forgive mom and dad, we would be endlessly grateful, but we also know that some things cannot be achieved simply by our own insistence, as we’ve done too many things.”
