Transmigrated as a Peasant Baby Who is Pampered by All

Chapter 275: Chapter 215: Jiang Yu Leaves

Wei Ziang is really impressive; when it comes to teaching, he just teaches.

Even though he himself, when he first picked up the short bow, was very unfamiliar with it, he became quite proficient in less than half an hour and even hit the bullseye!

That was the target that the second wife specially made with straw, a circle like tree rings, hanging on the courtyard wall at the front yard.

Wei Ziang spent half a day teaching Xiaomi the correct posture for archery, so that Xiaomi could practice aiming by herself.

Regarding Wei Ziang’s ability to figure things out on his own, everyone unanimously felt that he had probably been in contact with these things before his amnesia.

However, the curious part is that when Wei Ziang was found by Xiaomi during his amnesia, he was only about five or six years old. Did he really learn so much at such a young age?

Unfortunately, Wei Ziang couldn’t answer this question either.

At the beginning of the twelfth lunar month, Liu Bo and Liu Ze were preparing to return to the county. This time, they did not bring cured meat, but as previously mentioned, they hired an ox cart to carry two large fat pigs.

In addition to this, they still carried two carts of grain and vegetables as before.

Vegetables like cabbage, radish, lettuce, pumpkin, and winter melon that can be stored for some time in winter, and even two to three hundred catties of sweet potatoes.

Liu Ze alone naturally couldn’t eat so much, so in fact, it was to send to Liu Ze’s parents.

Besides these, the second wife also captured a few chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, and a basket of eggs.

The Jiang family didn’t know exactly how many people were in the Liu family, although Liu Ze and Liu Bo had been staying with the Jiang family for quite a few years, they had never really met Liu Ze’s family.

However, it was occasionally heard that Liu Ze has a younger sister five years his junior, and this year, Liu Ze’s mother gave birth to another brother for him, and they specially sent red eggs to the Jiang family.

So Jiang Hu figured, although the two families hadn’t met yet, the relationship should be pretty good.

The grain brought this time was paid for as usual, Jiang Hu didn’t have the chance to refuse.

After Liu Bo and the others left, the Jiang family was suddenly four people short, and it instantly felt much colder.

Fortunately, the weather was too cold, so the teacher in town gave the students a holiday, Jiang Yu and Wei Ziang didn’t have to go to school, and the two of them were at home every day reciting books and doing homework, often teaching Jiang Wei, which made the house lively again.

In the past month, Xiaomi’s aiming skills in archery improved a lot. Not to say hitting the bullseye, but almost there.

But her strength was still a bit weak, although she could hit the target, often due to lack of strength, the arrows would fall down directly.

It seemed that besides practicing aiming, practicing strength was also necessary. But she was still young, her body hadn’t fully developed yet, and she couldn’t push it, so she had to think of other ways.

So, just when every household was preparing to slaughter pigs for cured meat, there appeared a child in the village. As long as it didn’t rain, no matter how cold it was, he would run in the village every morning on time.

Running from the Jiang family to the village and back, three round trips a day, even if exhausted, he persisted.

The first day it was only Xiaomi running, from the second day on, Wei Ziang started running with her. Jiang Yu also joined running for two days but gave up on the third day.

Instead, Xiaomi and Wei Ziang, apart from the very tiring first few days, got used to it and continued running until New Year’s Eve when they finally stopped.

This was the seventh year the Jiang family spent the New Year in Fu’an Village, and in about twenty days, it would be Xiaomi’s and Jiang Wei’s seventh birthday.

By then, Jiang Wei would also be going to school in town.

As for studying, Jiang Wei wasn’t as serious as Jiang Yu and Wei Ziang, but having a few good brothers to teach him over the years, Jiang Hu wasn’t worried about it.

However, what surprised everyone was that on the eighth day of the New Year, before the festival was even over, the Liu family’s business steward came to the Jiang family.

”Picking up Jiang Yu to go to the county?” Jiang Hu spoke in surprise, then quickly asked, ”Why go to the county at this time, aren’t Liu Bo and the others coming back?”

The steward took a letter from his pocket: ”Yes, the school starts at the end of the month. The master said let Young Master Jiang go over to familiarize himself first.”

The letter was written by Liu Bo and Liu Ze, and Jiang Hu recognized their handwriting.

After reading it carefully, it indeed referred to this matter, and also mentioned Liu Ze’s parents had found a tutor for Liu Ze and invited Jiang Yu to study together, so that by mid-year, he could possibly qualify as a scholar.

After finishing the letter, Jiang Hu calmed down. Liu Bo had told them about it last year, so it wasn’t much of a surprise.
