Transmigrated as a Peasant Baby Who is Pampered by All

Chapter 252: Chapter 207: Everything Was Taught by Xiaomi (Part 2)

As soon as she got home, her mother walked out of the house: ”Xiao Hua, where did you go? We’re about to cook, why are you coming back now?”

Normally at this time, Xiao Hua would be making lunch, so that her parents and grandparents could have a rest and eat directly after finishing their work.

”I just went out for a while,” Zhang Xiaohua did not say exactly where she went.

Little Hua’s mother frowned: ”A young girl like you, running around everywhere, you’ll be the subject of gossip.”

Zhang Xiaohua understood, but her mind was occupied with something else, so she didn’t pay much attention.

”Mom, is Dad back? I want to discuss something with you both.”

As she said this, Zhang Xiaohua was also silently cheering herself on. Xiao Mi said that the more determined your attitude is, the more likely your parents are to agree.

Xiao Mi is Fu’an Village’s Little Lucky Star; whatever she says is certainly correct!

Little Hua’s mother’s frown didn’t relax: ”What is there to discuss that you can’t tell me directly?”

At the same time, she felt somewhat puzzled by this usually obedient girl acting so oddly today.

But Zhang Xiaohua’s attitude was very firm: ”Mom, you’ll know once I tell you, where’s Dad? I’ll go find him.”

This matter needs Dad’s approval. If Dad agrees, her mother will most likely not object, so just telling mom is useless.

”What is there to tell me? You’re running around without making lunch, not even bringing your younger siblings along. What if something happens?”

Just as she was speaking, Zhang Li came from behind the house, carrying a basket full of grass that he had just brought in to feed the pigs and cows.

Like his name suggests, Zhang Li has a sturdy build and looks very strong.

Though Zhang Li, like most heads of the household, usually doesn’t interfere too much, if he decides on something, it’s pretty much settled.

When Zhang Xiaohua first saw Zhang Li, her heart skipped a beat, but the next second, she gathered herself and spoke loudly and firmly.

”Dad, Mom, I want to learn embroidery. I’ve already asked Jiang Xiaoxue, and she’s willing to teach me!”

Xiao Mi said not to hem and haw! Get straight to the point!

Sure enough, as soon as she spoke, Zhang Li and Little Hua’s mother’s eyebrows furrowed, but before they could say anything, Zhang Xiaohua continued to shout loudly.

”I’ve asked Sister Xiaoxue, she said you can learn it in a month at the latest, and you can make embroidered handkerchiefs for the fabric shop in town, earning up to ten copper coins a day, which is three hundred a month, and more than three taels of silver a year!”

Zhang Xiaohua got herself excited by what she said, especially the last few sentences, her tone elevated considerably, showing her high spirits.

Zhang Li and Little Hua’s mother’s intended refusal got stuck in their throats as their eyes widened slightly.

Little Hua’s mother reacted the quickest: ”Xiao Hua, what did you say? More than three taels of silver a year? Is that true?”

This time, it wasn’t Zhang Xiaohua who was refuting her, but Zhang Li.

”What are you talking about? Xiaoxue is Brother Jiang’s daughter; would she lie?” After speaking, he even gave his wife a glare.

Little Hua’s mother came to her senses and nodded repeatedly: ”Yes, yes, if Xiaoxue said it, then it must be true.”

Zhang Xiaohua saw her parents’ reaction was exactly as Xiao Mi had predicted, and she admired Xiao Mi even more.

At the same time, she once again shouted the lines taught by Xiao Mi.

”But Xiaoxue also said, to learn embroidery, you need to buy needles and fabric, these are initial investments, you have to be willing to spend on these to earn more later.”

Actually, it was taught by Xiao Mi. Xiao Mi said you need to show vigor; she didn’t understand what vigor was, but Xiao Mi said you can say it loudly, so she did.

For the first time in her life, speaking so loudly to her parents, Zhang Xiaohua was very nervous, especially with her grandparents, younger brothers, and sisters coming out when they heard the commotion.

Zhang Li didn’t reject her directly, instead he seemed to be seriously considering something.

”Dad, Mom, didn’t you say you have to build houses when the two younger brothers get married? If I learn embroidery, I can help earn money together.”

Xiao Mi said to proactively offer to hand over the money earned to her parents, making it more likely for them to agree to buy her things for learning embroidery.

As long as she earns a bit first, showing results at home, she can both earn money and continue learning other skills later, and buying things then shouldn’t face opposition from her parents.
