Transmigrated as a Peasant Baby Who is Pampered by All

Chapter 271: Chapter 213: Doing Something (3)

”Take out two ginseng roots to sell?”

”No, no, ginseng can still grow, and the town might not be able to offer a good price. It’s better to wait until we go to the county town and find an opportunity to sell them later.”

Mi continued to suggest ideas to herself, only to shoot them down immediately after.

After a while, she simply plopped down under a big tree. ”Xiao Hei, keep an eye out for me, and remember to let me know if anyone comes.”

Then she closed her eyes, tilted her head, and entered the space.

Except for Wei Ziang who entered the space three years ago, no outsiders had entered it in these years.

But now, besides Mi herself, there were finally other beings.

”Master, you’re back.”

Ling’er’s voice sounded by her ear.

Mi had long been accustomed to Ling’er’s voice. She lifted her foot and headed towards the warehouse.

”Ling’er, did you place all my things here before?”

”Yes, and I sorted them carefully by category. Do you need anything, Master?”

”Let me take a look first.”

Mi wasn’t sure what she wanted, but she felt she should be able to find something besides farming that could earn money and keep her from getting bored.

The warehouse was like another space, a space stacked within the space, with items previously spread out everywhere outside compressed into a very small area here.

Mi browsed through briefly and had to admit that it was indeed more convenient to find things now.

Moreover, Mi discovered that Ling’er had sorted the items with great detail.

For instance, food was under a big category. Within that, there were raw and cooked foods, raw foods were divided into meat and vegetables, and different types of meat were separated individually.

Unlike before, when Mi would pile everything together, since none of it would spoil anyway, and everything had to be processed before eating.

This way, it was just like shopping in a supermarket, with everything clearly and distinctly laid out.

Mi could glance over and take in everything at once.

Suddenly, Mi’s gaze paused. ”Huh? Boxing gloves? Bows and arrows? Fencing? How come there are these things?”

When did these get here? Why did she have no impression of them?

”Master, these items were in a big box. I took them out while I was free earlier.”

Upon closer inspection, there indeed weren’t many of them, only one or two sets each.

Mi touched her chin, then waved her hand, and the bow and arrow came into her hand.

She hefted them; they were very heavy. With her current tiny arms and legs, she couldn’t possibly use them, so she put them back.

”Ling’er, sorry for the trouble with the space. I’m heading out now.”

As she spoke, she had already left the space.

Under the tree, as Mi opened her eyes, she was already pushing herself up with her hands.

”Xiao Hei, let’s go chop some wood!”

Saying this, she retraced her steps and, when passing under the cliff where small Lingzhi mushrooms were growing, gave it a longing glance and muttered to herself about how she would eventually move it into the space.

After descending the mountain, she didn’t go home. She walked past her house and went up the mountain on the side of the old house, familiarly finding a wild peach tree.

This peach tree bore fruit every year, but the taste was really not great, both sour and astringent, even watering it with Spiritual Spring water didn’t help.

However, she had planted two small saplings from the space outside her house, but unfortunately, they hadn’t borne fruit yet.

With a raised hand, a small ax appeared, and she selected a suitable branch and began to chop it vigorously.

Though young, her endurance was great. After much effort, she finally chopped down a branch as thick as her wrist, trimmed the smaller twigs off, and stored it in the space.

This time she was smart; placing it in the space to take back, only taking it out when she was about to go down the mountain, how effortless!

Finally, with this piece of peach wood, Mi planned to make her own bow.

For her, it wasn’t too difficult, and it would also pass the time, keeping boredom at bay.

The bow and arrow in the space had given her inspiration. She wasn’t skilled at embroidery, but hunting seemed quite suitable for her.

She would make her own bow, then go to the town to find a blacksmith to make a few small arrowheads, use hard wood for the arrow shafts, and it would basically be done.

At least, in Mi’s mind, this was a perfect plan. As for whether it would actually work, she wasn’t in a hurry – if not this time, then next time!

She just couldn’t accept it. Her second sister could become so good at embroidery just by reading books, why couldn’t she polish up her archery skills?

Thinking this way, she was suddenly full of energy. She went home, got a machete, and with the peach branch in hand, started working busily, so much so that she didn’t even notice when Wei Ziang came back.

At this moment, Mi’s mind was filled with images of bringing home a bountiful catch of game, earning lots of money, and receiving admiring looks from everyone.

As to whether that would become reality, who knew?
