The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

In the Tokyo Area government futuristic meeting room with a hologram in the middle of the room, everyone is waiting for a report on the whereabouts of Hiruko Kagetane, the one who stole the Legacy of the Seven Stars from them. This includes all high official government staff, the commander Tendo Kikunojo, and Seitenshi also attending this meeting.

Since Hiruko Kagetane couldn’t be found anywhere in Japan yesterday (he was kidnapped and brought to the Team 1 base), everyone has become anxious and panicked about the situation.  After all, Hiruko is the one who stole the legacy of the seven stars that could summon a Zodiac, and many are afraid he already opened the case a long time ago.

”How is it? Has his whereabouts been found?!”

”N-No, Commander Kikunojo, we have scanned the entire country of Japan several times with all of our satellites, and he is still nowhere to be found!”

”You are all incompetent! Search more seriously, this concerns the safety of all Tokyo Area!”

Still not finding the whereabouts of the clown, aka Hiruko Kagetane, Tendo Kikunojo has been frowning all the time and is the one who feels the most anxious. Even though he was the one who let Hiruko take the object for his own agenda, Hiruko’s sudden disappearance is out of his plan, which gives him a very bad feeling about what was about to happen.

Tendo Kikunojo began to regret trusting Hiruko, and now he wanted to catch that clown man as soon as possible and forget his initial plan-- because playing with level 5 is very dangerous! He even regretted coming up with this plan, since Tendo Kikunojo himself was aware of how dangerous Scorpion is... even with the Ladder of Heaven stationed ready outside the Tokyo Area.

...

”That clown... where did he go?” Tendo Kikunojo muttered with anxiety, ”This situation is too dangerous.”

Seitenshi also worried, patted Tendo’s shoulder, and reassured him, ”Everything must be fine, Commander Tendo. All the police and promoters are searching all over the city.”

”I’d like to feel that way, but Seitenshi-sama, the legacy of seven stars---”

Before Tendo Kikunojo could finish his answer, one of the satellite observation staff suddenly found out the target’s whereabouts and yelled anxiously, ”W-We’ve found his whereabouts!”

...!!!

Hearing the good news, all the officials stood up, and Tendo Kikunojo excitedly asked, ”Where?!”

”He is... with some people... in the Iwaki area?! They’re very far from Tokyo!” (Staff)

”No wonder we can’t find him in the city, he is not in Tokyo at all!” (Government staff A)

”But why is he so far away from Tokyo?” (Government staff B)

”That’s more than 200 km away from Tokyo! What is he going to do with the Legacy of the seven stars?! (Government staff C)

”Whatever, we need to secure the Legacy seven-star as soon as possible before the clown opens it!” Tendo Kikunojo ordered very anxiously.

It was clear that he ordered Hiruko to open the box near Tokyo after waiting for his signal for several days, but what happened right now was beyond expectations and not something in his plan at all!

’Damn it, what is that clown planning?! Iwaki?! There’s no one in that already destroyed area! My agenda wouldn’t work if Scorpion is going to be there instead of Tokyo!’ Tendo Kikunojo thought, while quietly angry at Hiruko, who clearly disrupted his plan.

However, when all the staff were still confused about what Hiruko was doing in Iwaki, suddenly, all of their computer screens and meeting monitors changed (got hacked)... and Kaito’s face appeared on the screen.

...??!!??!!

”What happened?”

”Who is this guy? Does this mean we got hacked?!”

...

In fact, not only in the government building, but currently, all public screen monitors in the Tokyo Area have been hacked by Kayaba Akihiko and connected to the laptop held by Kaito!

”Moshi-moshi, is this laptop connected to all the computers in Tokyo, Kayaba?” (???)

”It’s done, and there seems to be nothing wrong with the connection. Now, you can start your show, Kaito-kun.” (???)

”Thank you for your hard work~ Now let the show begin!” (???)

...

”This man... He is the yellow-haired swordsman! One of the strongest promoters in Tokyo... and the clown man is behind him!” One of the government staff immediately recognized Kaito’s face, along with Hiruko, who was standing with many unknown people behind.

... !!!

Not only him, but many people in Tokyo know Kaito personally, because he is the most active promoter of cleaning Gastrea in the past few weeks and the fastest rising promoter.

...

”He is... Yellow hair swordman? What is he doing on TV?” (Tokyo Citizen A)

”Is this an emergency announcement? What happened? Who are those people with strange clothes behind the Yellow Hair Swordman?!” (Tokyo Citizen B)

”Yellow hair swordman is on all channels? This is big news!” (Tokyo Citizen C)

”Kaito... who is he? Why does he stand with the clown?” Even Rentaro, who also saw the news on the hospital with Enju and Kisara confused right now.

As for Midori and Jack, Kaito had already quietly taken her away to the base this morning, away to safety. After all, they were about to go to war with Scorpion (and an army of Gastrea creatures following it), and they should get away to safety first to prevent any unexpected situation.

...

”Cut off the connection! And catch them immediately!” Tendo immediately ordered, feeling very bad about this, ”We need to stop them from whatever they wanted to do!”

”No way, commander! I’ve tried to restore our channel, but the hacker is too strong! Their channel is also connected to many public monitors in the Tokyo area!”

”Turn off the internet and its power sources! Damn it, you all are incompetent!! Stop the connection at all costs!”

Tendo Kikunojo felt very annoyed with all the government employees’ incompetence, because it’s genuinely baffling to him that the entire Tokyo channel was hacked so easily by someone!

...

However, no matter how much Tendo Kikunojo wanted to cut off the network to stop what’s happening right now, Kaito just smiled in front of the monitor... and took a step backward, ready to talk and confess to the citizens of Tokyo Area.

In the ruins of what used to be one of Japan’s largest areas before the Gastrea virus emergence, Iwaki, Kaito stood facing a laptop with an iron suitcase in his hand... and behind him stood Hiruko Kagetane, dozens of chat group members, and ”servants” who had been summoned to help with this ’war’.

...

”Hello, Tokyo Citizen. A lot of people might recognize me, but let me introduce myself.”

Kaito put his hand on his chest in front of the laptop webcam politely, ”My name is Kaito, and behind me are all my partners, friends, and my precious family members.”

”Anyway, let me tell you all the reasons behind this sudden broadcast.”

”I have been living beside you all for weeks and have seen a lot of things that happened in this world.... and I realize this world is so fucked up and hopeless, so I feel that I need to do something to change it.”

...

Naturally, hearing what Kaito said, a lot of people expressed their dissatisfaction and anger, mainly because Kaito said that this world is hopeless while they are doing their best to survive (living in Tokyo).

”This boy is too arrogant!” Tendo Kikunojo immediately retorted in anger.

”Kaito... what did he just say?” Rentarou also expressed his anger, ”This is a hopeless world?”

”Too arrogant!” (Citizen A)

”Police should detain him and revoke his license!” (Citizen B)

”Capture him! We need to punish this man!” (Citizen C)

...

Kaito, who could hear there were a lot of complaining voices from the Tokyo Area government office, could imagine all Tokyo residents were also unhappy, but he already expected it and even gave a taunting look to the laptop.

Anyway, Kaito didn’t plan to come back and was ready to fully fall out with this world.

...

”Well, maybe a lot of you are expressing your disagreement with just something I said. But I honestly don’t FUCKING CARE.”

”I have had enough of this shitty world, and I don’t want to stay in this world any longer!”

”The extreme discrimination toward cursed children who did nothing wrong is truly disgusting to me, and you should be happy that I was able to stay calm during my stay in your area!”

”You guys should be happy I am not cold-blooded, otherwise the Tokyo Area and most areas in this world would have ceased to exist a long time ago!”

”Then let me inform you guys about something. The reason that many cursed children disappear in Tokyo?”

”Yeah, I, no, we took it away to a better place, nothing with this ’UGLY WORLD’. You guys don’t want them anyway.”

”Not only Tokyo, but all the cases of cursed children’s disappearance all around the world, we are the ones who take them away. You are not alone on this case, so be happy.”

...!!!

Hearing Kaito’s confession this time, a lot of people were shocked. They admit that recently, there are many fewer cursed children on the street. Some of them are happy about it because someone is willing to take care of those monsters (other world = die), but some of them also condemn Kaito’s action for what he did.

IISO personnel who watched this broadcast, especially enraged, as they are currently having a very hard time because of Kaito’s action. After all, their business was to kidnap and sell cursed children to Promotor... but there has been a shortage of cursed children anywhere around the world.

...

”And today, we are here to show you how to summon level 5 Gastrea. By opening this silly silver suitcase.”

On the screen, Kaito raised the metal suitcase in his right arm while giving a taunting look at the Tokyo people. Looking at the monitor, A lot of Tokyo government officials become very anxious, as they realize that Kaito might be even more madman than the clown guy is!

...!!!

”At first, someone foolish in Tokyo wanted it summoned there to wreak havoc in the city, but we disagree with his stupid idea.”

”Don’t worry, we will take care of the monster. We will destroy the level 5 Gastrea and perhaps clean up all of the Gastrea creatures later in this world.”

”Just think of it as a payment for letting us take care of all the cursed children around the world.”

After that, in front of everyone, Kaito opened the suitcase forcefully using his bare hand... and revealed a broken child’s tricycle inside it.

”Alright Thats’ it. Disconnect the network, Kayaba-san.”

”Yes, Kaito-kun.” (???)

Upon seeing it, this raised a question for hundreds of thousands of clueless people in Tokyo who watched this broadcast: Who wanted to summon Gastrea level 5 in the Tokyo Area? Which Gastrea level 5 was he talking about? Why did he open a silver suitcase with a broken tricycle inside it in a broadcast? etc.

Unfortunately, their question is bound not to be answered since Kaito decides to end his ’broadcast’ right away.

...!!!???!!

*BAMM*

”That madman!” Tendo Kikunojo, enraged (because his plan was currently in shambles as he was far away from Tokyo), ”He opened it in broadcast?!”

Naturally, because of Kaito’s provocative action, all people who know what Kaito does are now becoming anxious, scared, and panicked, because it means that soon Gastrea level 5 will come to their country. Most of the government officials have already had the idea to flee from the country, already making calls for a private jet or airplane.

Although Kaito’s actions on the broadcast were confusing, this didn’t stop him from causing mass panic and chaos in the whole Tokyo Area. After all, Kaito told them that now level 5 Gastrea was being summoned and about to come to their country... and they don’t even dare to treat it as a joke!

”Get to his location in Iwaki as soon as possible! We need to secure that relic before the situation gets even worse!” Seitenshi, who has been quiet the entire time watching the broadcast, finally gives her first order.

”But who are the people that stood behind him...”

”Just treat all of them as enemies of the country and need to be executed!” Tendo Kikunojo scoffed, dissatisfied with incompetent people under him, ”It’s clear they are in one group!”

””YES!!””

Realizing the critical and running out of time situation, the government officials and military high officer moved quickly, calling almost all of the military personnel stationed in Tokyo Area, as well as calling all the top promoters in the Tokyo Area to help in the operation to capture the terrorist ”yellow-haired swordman and clown man” in the Iwaki area.

Hearing such an order, Rentaro, who was still heavily wounded by yesterday’s incident, also forced himself to get up and join the military operation, ”Come on, Enju!”

”But your wound, Rentaro ...” Enju muttered anxiously, seeing Rentaro, who was still covered in bandages and occasionally flinched in pain, ”Your condition is still really bad...”

”We don’t have time! I don’t know what caused Kaito to do something like this, but I need an answer from him!” Rentaro said angrily, ”Kaito owes us an explanation!

”What the fuck was he doing right now?! Cooperate with terrorists to destroy the Tokyo Area?!”

He didn’t expect his kind junior, good at cooking and always saving people, to be the same person who kidnapped all the cursed children, worked with Hiruko Kagetane, and wanted to destroy the  Tokyo Area! (Rentaro didn’t know that Kaito was currently far from Tokyo.)

”I knew you guys wouldn’t stay still!” Tendo Kisara also suddenly entered the room, with her sword ready on her waist, ”Come on quickly, I’ll come with you too!”

Like Rentaro, Tendo Kisara, who watched the broadcast also confused and wanted to seek an answer from him. She thought Kaito was the same person as her, who was full of revenge and regret...but wanted to destroy the city because of that?

Kaito was much crazier than her, and Kisara regretted not realizing that from the beginning!

...

>>>>>

While the entire Tokyo Area was in chaos due to Kaito and his friends’ actions, Kaito himself, in Iwaki with almost all chat group members and dozens of servants, also prepared themselves for a big war and put up various types of magic barriers to prevent an unexpected situation could reaching their weaker members in the backline.

Even right now, many Gastrea creatures are approaching their location after Kaito’s action, although they are all handled by most of the servants stationed on the border easily.

”Kaito-kun... look at this.”

Kayaba Akihiko, who was monitoring a country with his personal satellite, showed thousands of red dots swarming towards Iwaki (their location). Kayaba then also showed a photo of Scorpion showing himself in the northern sea of Japan, which has become much bigger than the one in the Original, on top of emitting a dense dark curse aura in her whole body!

Kaito swore that the Original Scorpion was probably only 50-100 m tall... but the monster in the laptop showed him right now? Kaito could tell it’s easily half of kilometer, which is way taller than the Eiffel tower!

Even from the sky, Kaito could feel a deep menace and dread just by seeing it on the screen!

Scratch Gilgamesh, Kaito believes this might be the strongest enemy they have fought so far... and he wouldn’t be surprised if the creature is almost breaking 7* strength... which is very close to a godly being that is capable of destroying the world!

...

”...How many Gastrea Creatures are coming, and how long will Scorpion arrive at our location from the sea?”

Kaito asked nervously, realizing the situation even more fucked up than he had initially thought. No wonder the chat group system is asking for a high price, and Kaito was glad he was prepared for this critical situation.

”There are approximately a few hundred thousand Gastrea creatures following him. The minimum estimate of the number of creatures coming in 30 minutes... and from the energy they emit, many of them have also been strengthened by your curse, although only slightly.”

”A few hundred thousand?!”

”But that’s not the biggest problem.

”From the concentration of energy source in Scorpion’s whole body... There are estimated to be more than 3 soul fragments attached to Scorpion, might be all the soul fragments available in this world... but on the other hand, Scorpion might be even more dangerous than we have predicted, the energy it produces... it is beyond the limit of anything we have seen before.” Kayaba warned seriously.

”...Damn.”

*Gulp*

Although Kaito initially had confidence about this ’war’, hearing such information, Kaito now feels anxious and scared. As someone who had used the curse to strengthen himself before, he knew how terrifying the curse inside him... which needed 8* peak minimum to solve according to the system.

Though the good news is Kaito had a feeling that this creature contains the most escaped ’curse’ attached to this world-- or even all 3 worlds. Once Scorpion is defeated, their mission in this world is done, since that’s all the soul fragments left in this world.

Aika, who also listened, quickly calmed down and ordered, ”We need to adjust our strategy... Kayaba tells all personnel chat group below 5* strength to evacuate from the center of the battlefield...  This will be a very difficult battle, and if we are not careful, we might have casualties among us.”

After that, everyone worked together on preparing all the necessary preparation against a hundred thousand Gastrea creatures. Aika also revised her strategy a little bit, making the weaker members guard the backline, where non-combatants like Kayaba and Hiruko, with most of the members with 6* strength in front protecting them.

All members were also given various props to save themselves from Kaito, such as auto-escape props, painkiller props, and 20 phoenix tears each member was given by Ravel. Kaito even gives all top combatant all of her holy grail collection to everyone, which could be used to recover their lost energy instantly-- knowing that shortage of energy would be the main problem that everyone is going to have in this war.

As for the military army and promoter who also came from Tokyo to capture them?

None of the chat group members even cared about it... as they were certainly not a problem to deal with, and any 6* chat group member could destroy them easily.

Lastly, thanks for reading.
