The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

Seeing the special group task that Kaito presented to everyone, the members were very curious about the world listed on the task. Kaito is naturally familiar with those worlds, after all those worlds are all famous works from his previous life-- especially the Black Bullet world hailed to be one of the most cursed anime worlds.

In fact, Kaito preferred to do all these tasks by himself-- as these world are not particularly difficult to deal with. But in a task with the main goal of ”finding something,” the more people searching for her soul fragment, the better chance they could find it faster.

Kaito was not confident when asked to search for the existence of souls on the entire surface of the planet-- even if he could clone himself a thousand times with his current unlimited energy reserve-- and could just stick himself to the protagonist.

Not to mention, there are also 3 worlds they need to explore!

He is also aware working alone is just repeating his mistake in the moon world. After the failure in the moon world, Kaito doesn’t want to have experienced it again.

Even though Kaito has become much stronger now, the regretful experience of losing Est is enough to wake him up and stop him from being arrogant.

Also, the task is designed to be done in the group. With this, the other members can prevent him from making another mistake and increase the chances of success in the task of finding Est’s soul fragment.

With everyone help, even if the system wanted to trick him again, Kaito confident everyone could find solution to the situation much better than him doing it alone.

...

”...What’s wrong with these worlds, Kaito?” Aika who had a bad feeling about these worlds, couldn’t help but ask, ”Is there anything we need to be wary about them?”

”They are not particularly dangerous, as I said before.”

Kaito shook his head and then explained calmly, ”I have all the original memories for these three worlds, but what I can assure you is that these two worlds are not good worlds to explore.”

”Not good?”

”Yeah...” Kaito nodded solemnly and explained again, ”A lot of people in these worlds are morally bankrupt or have no morals at all. 2 out of 3 worlds on the list are set up in a doomsday type of world.”

”Ah... Now I understand what are you talking about.”

...

Hearing the word ”doomsday” world, many members immediately got an idea about the type of world they would explore to save Est. To enrich their knowledge of other worlds, they were familiar with this type of world, because this kind of world is quite popularly written in stories.

They just didn’t expect that they would have the opportunity to explore a world like that this time.

...

”Anyway, Kaito, you don’t want to share the 3 memories and force us to watch it right now, right?” Crocodile asked with an impatient tone.

”No.” Kaito shook his head, ”It would take too much time and we can continue to talk about it tomorrow after you all finish watching them all.”

”Indeed. I am glad you are not that desperate yet.”

Crocodile seemed to be happy with Kaito’s answer, then continued, ”I know the rescue task is more important to do.... but this task has tips for us to upgrade the chat group level first... so let’s talk about that now.”

”I agree.” Kayaba immediately followed, ”With the portal on chat group level 3, many things will be easier to do in the future.”

”There are also a lot of new features going to get unlocked too, like double reward of daily task, although I am more happy about the portal,” Crocodile added, which naturally made everyone in the chat group interested.

For Crocodile and Kayaba, who have the least care about this situation, they naturally don’t hide that they pay more attention to the new feature after upgrade, instead of Kaito’s tragic experience.

Especially for Crocodile, the Portal feature would allow him to have monopoly resources from his world, such as devil fruit and sea stone in this world. And Kayaba, who planned to rebuild SAO here, would be happy if more people came to this world-- as it has been confirmed that at some point Kaito wants him to rebuild SAO for real.

Everyone who gets curious also takes a peek at what kind of features are unlocked at the next level, and also gets excited that there are a lot more things they could get besides the portal.

However, Aika immediately cut their idea short temporarily, and proposed what she thought was the most important to talk about, ”I agree with all of your opinions, but talking about leveling up the chat group is going to take a very long time and we should talk about something even more important first.”

”What?” Crocodile retorted, ”What do you want to talk about?”

”How do you guys not realize that it’s not only Kaito who caused Est to get killed in the first place?”

”And the culprit is sitting with us?”

...!!!

Aika then stared at Manaka viciously, which made everyone also pay attention to her, ”Do you have a defense for what you did to our leader task?”

”Is everything you said to Kaito in your world 100% true? Root Princess?”

”Depend on your answer, it will determine our attitude toward you as a soon-to-be chat group member.”

”...”

Manaka, who felt all eyes on her, did not feel nervous and remained calm in front of everyone’s judging eyes. Manak then smiled at Aika, and then promised, ”Of course... I will fulfill all my promises to Kaito.”

”How do you prove that?” Aika sharpened her gaze, ”You realize that your behavior of plotting our leader in that world is something we need to be wary about.”

”...I realize my behavior is not liked well here because of the way I plotted Kaito-san so that he would accept me... but what you all need to know, I want to join the chat group.”

”Naturally, I don’t want to get kicked either after joining in and wanted to get along with everyone.”

”...I see.”

Knowing a little bit about Manaka’s background, Aika couldn’t comment much because she also had the same desire. The reason she desperately wanted to stay in this chat group was because only here could she feel alive, and in a way, Manaka and Aika were indeed very similar.

Well, Aika was certainly right about that, because just like she who deceived and manipulated her sister, Manaka also did the same thing to her sister (albeit not because of care, but malice).

Hearing Manaka’s promising answer, Aika just sighed and then looked at everyone, ”What do the other members think? Do you agree to invite Manaka Saijyou-san into the chat group?”

...

”In my opinion... She’s strong, smart and seems to be trustworthy, why not?” (Crocodile)

”Manaka’s goal to explore the outside world, I can understand and agree, because I have the same view so I also agree with her.” (Erina)

”She’s strong. We need more strong people to protect the world and carry out missions.” (Itachi)

”I don’t like her behavior, since she reminds me of my obsessive roommate. However, I agree she is strong, and as long as she is obsessed with Owner, I don’t think she will harm the chat group.” (Misaka)

”I don’t know whether I should be happy or sad about that, Misaka.” (Owner)

”She is scary... but she is willing to return everything and fulfill her promise, so she is not a bad person!” (Nanoha)

”More smart people in the chat group always welcome.” (Nico Robin)

”I have no opinion.” (Saitama)

”I don’t mind either, because Manaka-san seems very loyal to the master.” (Sakuya)

”For me as long as he doesn’t want to hurt Kaito-san and helping him, I don’t mind!” (Ravel)

...

Hearing everyone accept Manaka into the chat group, Aika could only sigh in resignation. Aika doesn’t have a good opinion of people who want to take her place in the chat group, but she knows that Manaka’s strength and intelligence can help the chat group do their tasks better and more efficiently.

Kaito himself also prefers Ilya and Saber to be invited into the chat group and this is not a secret, but just like Aika, Kaito also understands the importance of intelligence and the power Manakahas. After all, Aika is someone who can use all the magic from the moon world because of her access to the root.

Not to mention, he is in a way indebted to Moon world since his source of unlimited energy came from that world.

In addition, Manaka is obedient to him... and even obsessed with him, which can be both bad and good.

Good, because there is no chance of Manaka betraying, and bad, because this girl will do anything if it means helping Kaito in the chat group without any morals and ethics.

...

”Since everyone agrees, you can invite Manaka-san without worry later, Kaito.”

”Well, that’s the part of my deal with her anyway.” Kaito wryly smiled, nodded slightly at what Aika said, ”I will invite her using my point after this meeting.”

Hearing Kaito promise, Manaka’s eyes lit up and excited. ”Thank you, Kaito. I will do my best to make sure I will stay in the chat group.”

”And my first step, I will try my best to get your position, Fuwa Aika-san.”

...!!!

””OH??!!””

Hearing this declaration, all the members of the chat group were shocked-- even though some of them had heard it before. After all, this time it was done in front of all the members, showing that Manaka was serious about what she said.

And from the memory they had watched, all the members understood that Manaka was the type of person who didn’t make empty talk!

Aika, who already expected her declaration, just smiled at her, unfazed, ”I accept your challenge, Manaka-san, but I won’t give up easily.”

”Hahahaha! Isn’t that interesting?” Crocodile laughed and commented, ”This girl is cunning and strong, vice leader Aika, you might be in danger.”

”This will be the first clash in the chat group to compete for Aika-san’s position!” Misaka followed, ”And Manaka-san is also proven to be very smart too!”

”I admit after watching the memory, Manaka-san is scary.” Miya also commented, ”But that’s only strength, Manaka needs to prove herself first, whether she is better than Aika in terms of leadership.”

”I don’t care who is going to be vice leader.” Erina shook her head and persuaded, ”But please don’t hurt each other!”

”Indeed! We are friends so we shouldn’t hurt each other!” Nanoha intervened and suggested, ”There’s no rule that says there can only be one representative in a chat group. How about we appoint both of them as representatives and work together with Kaito nii-san?!”

”...”

Hearing Nanoha’s suggestion, all the chat group members looked at Kaito with sharp gazes-- because they already knew Kaito had a plan called the harem plan project before.

”...Nanoha-chan, you just suggested a terrible idea.” Erina wryly smiled, ”I guess the Owner would get beaten again later.”

”Huh?” Nanoha, who hears it gets confused and apologizes, ”Should I say sorry, sister?”

”No, that’s a good idea.” Aika quickly interjected her, and then turned at Kaito and Manaka with a sinister gaze, ”Don’t tell me you don’t have the idea to recruit Manaka on your peerage? A person with 6* strength evaluation?”

”But I only have 3 pieces left...”

Kaito nodded, didn’t deny it at all, and then frowned after remembering how many pieces he had left, ”No, it’s 2 pieces left since one is ready to trade for Ravel later.”

Kaito remembers that the remaining pieces he has are only one pawn and one queen, considering that the others are already owned by all.

Although he is sure that the chat group can help him overcome this limit problem, points are valuable to Kaito right now, because, besides Manaka, he also plans to invite Saber and Ilya later into the chat group if he can, and he needs 100,000 points each person!

So, Kaito hesitated to do it-- and thinking he should do it after they finished the task to rescue Est as it would give him a whopping 500k+ points easily thanks to his owner privilege salted fish earner bonus of 75% in the next level!

...

”Are you hesitating, Kaito? I suggest recruiting Manaka as soon as possible.”

Hearing Aika’s suggestion, Kaito tilted his head, ”Why?”

”Because this going to give another guarantee to make sure she behaves in the chat group.” Aika answered and then looked at Manaka with a smile, ”And you can force her, to do whatever you want since she is the main cause why you accidentally kill Est in that world.”

...!!!

”Ah!”

”Kaito-kun, I don’t mind if you want to order me around.” Manaka just smiled at him, but she also sent a hostile gaze toward Aika, ”It’s indeed still partly my fault after all.”

Manaka, who was not stupid, understood that Aika wanted to make Kaito hate her and make her a target of Kaito’s depression. Honestly, Manaka didn’t mind Kaito doing ’anything’ to her as she even could sacrifice her body to him, but she didn’t like that this was the result of Fuwa Aika’s manipulation to gain an advantage against her.

’Sure enough, the chat group is really interesting. Aika is a very interesting and challenging opponent!’ Manaka thought happily.

...

Hearing the opinions of Aika and Manaka themselves, Kaito was finally giving in and responded, ”Alright, I will reincarnate her as a pawn later.”

Although Kaito was sure there was a conspiracy behind Aika’s persuasion, Kaito didn’t care that much about it.

Kaito didn’t plan on blaming Manaka for something that Kaito himself did wrong and he didn’t want to blame his family members either. Because by joining the chat group, Manaka soon officially became one of his family.

...

After that, the meeting continues on track and it’s finally time for them to talk about the chat group level-up and learn about all the new features that coming with it.
