The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After everything was back to normal, the participants of the Holy Grail War gathered at the Emiya Residence together, including the remaining servants such as Jack and Saber. Of course, after hearing the explanation of what happened, many of them could not accept it, especially Rin.

”So... this Holy Grail War is rigged because it is used to test Kaito?” Rin glared at Kaito, ”Kaito, I take back what I said, you are the servant who caused the misfortune!”

Hearing his ’master’s’ words, Kaito rolled his eyes and replied, ”What do you mean, master? Aren’t I the unlucky one here? You enslaved me to give you wealth!”

The days with Rin before the Holy Grail War were the worst days he had ever experienced, at least when in the Naruto world, he did creation for the common good-- while Rin enslaved him so she could get rich!

...

”That is different from the Holy Grail War!” Rin snapped.

”What do you mean? I wouldn’t be here if the damn system wanted me to participate in the Holy Grail War!” Kaito snapped back, making the atmosphere tense.

”You! I still have command spells with me! Do you want to die, Kaito?!”

”I dare you, Rin!”

...

”Now... now... both of you please calm down.” Shirou, who was afraid that his residence would be damaged by them immediately intervened, ”At least on the bright side, no one was killed in this holy grail war except for the servants, and many of the problems that plagued us were resolved thanks to the deal between Manaka and Kaito.”

”That’s... indeed makes sense.” (Rin)

”I agree with that sentiment.” (Medea)

”I am glad I can live with senpai from now on!” (Sakura)

”Umm! I can’t wait to explore another world with Berserker later!” (Ilya)

Manaka, who understood Kaito’s thoughts and wanted everything to end happily, helped all the holy grail war participants fulfill their wishes. Ilya was no longer a lesser holy grail and became a real human, Medea also got a body. It could live in this world normally so she could live happily with her master, and most importantly, Sakura’s condition was cured 100% to normal, including all the insects that lived in her body were also destroyed.

Also, don’t forget, that Manaka has also eradicated old Matou Zouken, the hidden danger in Fuyuki town. And she also destroyed the evil of the world, Angra Mainyu who infected inside the holy grail, making it safe for Kaito to accept.

Only Kirei that Manaka didn’t get rid of, but he also swore not to do anything to Emiya and Tohsaka after being introduced to his obsession in the other world-- Mapo tofu. Now, he wants to change careers from priest to open a Mapo Tofu stall!

Seeing how Manaka understood his train of thought and handled it overnight, Kaito was honestly both impressed and scared of her.

’This girl... is really scary. I have to make a note that I must never make her angry... this girl is 100% yandere girl!’ Kaito thought.

At least, his task was successful... even though there were many regrets. If he wanted to finish the chat group task right away, he only needed to get the holy grail that had eradicated the ”evil of the world” from Manaka.

But before that... Kaito then turned to Saber (who already understood that his goal would never be fulfilled) and asked, ”Saber, do you want to follow me to another world with Manaka, Ilya, and Berserker?”

”Huh?”

Everyone was shocked to hear Kaito’s words, especially Rin who immediately blurted out, ”You don’t want to invite me?!”

”Shut up Rin, there’s no way I’m going to invite you after you treated me in this world like a slave!” Kaito retorted.

”You!!”

Ignoring Rin who threw a tantrum, Kaito looked back at Saber seriously and persuaded her, ”Honestly, I think that instead of returning to Avalon, it would be better for you to explore the other world. Maybe you can have a new purpose in life, or even learn how the other world’s King Arthurs rule their kingdom.”

Saber who sounded interested in the other world’s King Arthur, asked, ”Another world’s King Arthur? There’s also a King Arthur in the other world?”

Considering that there was a King Arthur in Seven Deadly Sin and even a descendant of Pendragon in his home world, Highschool DxD, Kaito indeed didn’t make this up.

”Of course! Even though you’re the only female King Arthur and a beautiful one on top of that.” Kaito answered confidently and added, ”This makes you unique, and I hope that you will accept my offer!”

....!!

Hearing Kaito’s request, Saber who was confused at first, her heart was moved... and she admitted that the other world interested her.

Also, this was the first time the opposite sex had called her beautiful, and Saber, who had no experience in relationships, was touched by Kaito’s sincerity.

...

”Very interesting. Is this considered cheating and cuckolding at the same time?”

...!!

Manaka, who had been silent all this time, looked at Kaito with a heated gaze and commented on what he had just said, ”Kaito-kun, you persuaded Shirou’s girl to go out with you, in front of me, the one who loved you? Isn’t it a bit too much for you?”

Realizing what he had done and Manaka’s explanation indeed made sense, Kaito sweated a lot and then bowed his head to Manaka, ”Err... I am sorry?”

”Pfft... I was kidding.” Manaka chuckled and then asked, ”Besides, Emiya Shirou, you don’t mind about this, right?”

Hearing Manaka’s question, Emiya nodded and answered firmly, ”Of course. I also agree that it would be better for Saber to accompany Kaito to a place where she is needed more.”

Unlike in the original, the Holy Grail War ended in less than a day, so the relationship between Saber and Shirou is not as deep as it was. (they don’t dream of each other’s lives). Also, Shirou is currently more focused on Sakura, especially since he can feel Sakura’s hot gaze when he answers this.

”Alright.” Manaka smiled happily, then raised her left hand, ”If you want Saber, I can help you too, Kaito-kun.”

At that moment, the command spell in Shirou’s hand disappeared and appeared on Manaka’s left arm-- making Saber’s ownership change hands.

....??!!!??!!

”I... I don’t have any other choice, do I?” Saber commented, with a wry smile and a tone of resignation.

”Yup.” Manaka nodded and looked at Kaito with hope, ”Are you happy with what I did, Kaito-kun?”

”Uh... thank you, Manaka.”

This surprised everyone, but no one dared to complain about it. Everyone had learned Manaka Saijyou’s identity as the Root Princess, and they weren’t stupid enough to make enemies with this girl.

Kaito who saw what Manaka did for him once again felt happy and scared because this girl was willing to do anything for him.

He planned to talk to her later, to set boundaries on what she could and couldn’t do for him. Because Kaito was afraid that this girl would not hesitate to destroy the world and kill people if it could make Kaito happy.

”Can you accept this, Saber?” Kaito asked again, to make sure, because he didn’t want to force people, ”If you don’t want to, even if I want you, I won’t force you to come along.”

Hearing Kaito’s question, Saber smiled and replied, ”I don’t mind. I’m also interested in the idea of another world, and I’m also happy to be of help after all the things you’ve done in this world, Kaito.”

”Thank you.”

...

Kaito was happy to hear Saber’s answer. This was one of the best news he had heard after coming to this world... and he was sure that all the members would accept Saber well.

The problem was still convincing the other members about Manaka, but he was sure that they would accept it because he remembered that Kayaba Akihiko was more problematic than her.

”With all the business done, Kaito-kun, when are we going to leave?!” Manaka, who was already looking impatient, with a face of ecstasy, ”I’ve prepared the holy grail that contains something that will make you understand third magic!”

”Uh...”

Everyone looked at Kaito because they were also curious about the other world.

”...Alright, Manaka. Give me the holy grail.”

...

Kaito himself also wanted to finish everything quickly. Naturally, Kaito wanted to save Est as soon as possible too-- because he could only rest easy if Est had been saved.

Although... Kaito is also afraid of the chat group’s reaction when they learn what he did in this world. It is undeniable that the members’ trust in him will definitely decrease sharply, and perhaps some members will start to dislike Kaito’s role as leader and start not listening to him.

That thought of his own family hating him made him tremble with fear, but Kaito himself also knew that he needed to face it.

However, if they want to beat Kaito for it, he is willing to accept it and won’t do anything for it. Because in a way, Kaito believes he deserves it and fails to protect his own family.

He will also ASAP try to overcome all the weaknesses about himself, that he learned in this world.

Starting from finding a way to withstand holy attribute stuff, and learning fighting techniques, because so far, his fighting techniques either heavily depend on teleportation or abusing his props.

Kaito’s fighting technique is only so-so relying on the experience he gained in the SAO world. When both teleport and props are ineffective, Kaito knows will struggle a lot like what happened with his fight against Gilgamesh.

And he also gonna make sure he won’t be overconfident from now on and take everything seriously.

Even right now, he realizes that forgot that he could summon anyone from his peerage to help this world before as his noble phantasm-- but his overconfidence blinded him, and forgot about such helpful detail.

If he could summon Yuu during his fight against Gilgamesh, the result may be much better than he currently got, although Manaka would still defeat them in the end.

Once again, Kaito wants to beat his past help due to his stupidity.

...

Hearing Kaito’s order, a yellow grail cup suddenly appeared in Manaka’s hand, emitting a golden aura that felt divine... making everyone’s attention turn to it because of curiosity and longing.

”Holy Grail...” (Kaito)

”So this is... the holy grail... it’s beautiful.” (Shirou)

”Hmmm... This is a device that can grant people’s wishes...” (Saber)

”So this is the thing I want to pursue...” (Rin)

...

Only Manaka looked normal, then she looked at Kaito and ordered, ”Come on, touch this holy grail, so your task can be completed.”

”Yeah.”

Kaito then touched the holy grail as suggested, and quickly made a wish to be a user of the third true magic, which is the materialization of soul.

The holy grail, assisted by Root itself accepted his wish... which made Kaito officially become the Third Magic practitioner.

Shortly after, Kaito also could feel himself transcending to kin of a higher dimension... like his soul got solidified, enhanced, and ascended. He could tell that any weak soul attack wouldn’t even affect him from now on-- and on top of that, he felt his magic energy had become unlimited, thanks to the effect of his soul becoming analogous to a perpetual motion machine.

Besides that, of course, Kaito gained knowledge on how to use Third True Magic. This would make Kaito understand how to manipulate the soul and attack the soul... which he admits is something he lacks.

Upon receiving the knowledge, the task chat group panel of completion immediately appeared in front of Kaito-- and to say Kaito was shocked about the result is an understatement, although not in a good way.

Seeing the evaluation results of the task marked as ”perfect”, Kaito’s first reaction was not happiness, but anger because in his mind, the chat group system seemed to be making a mockery of his life experience in this world. After all, Kaito thought he had failed badly in this task, with his success only at the mercy of Manaka’s willingness to share the holy grail for him.

However, before Kaito could ask the system about many things, Kaito’s mind was suddenly bombarded by a series of pings.

*DING*

*DING*

*DING* (20x)

The pings were coming from the chat group members which Kaito could access again, and it seemed like all the members could see that Kaito was back and wondered what had happened to him.
