The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

Inside the IISO headquarters in Japan, the curious Kaito couldn’t stop looking around inside the magnificent IISO building with everything made by neat white walls like some sort of a hospital building.

The reason Kaito did this, besides being curious because this building was never seen in the anime, was that he was also actively using haki to detect the location of all the captured cursed children that IISO had captured here- so when the time came, Kaito would attack this building and release them.

As an institution that provides services for Promoters and Initiators, IISO’s main business was to capture wild, cursed children and tried to tame them so that they are safe to be recruited as Initiators and used by Promoters.

This can be seen when the protagonist of this world first meets his initiator, Aihara Enju, because IISO offered her to him.

However, despite their good intentions to help Promoters, Kaito does not like this organization at all. There are no cursed children here who voluntarily surrender here, they are all forcibly captured and locked up by this organization. Some of them are even tortured by the people here to make them obey, and most of them are badly injured and have been tortured.

Just by Haki, Kaito can feel their emotions full of anger, revenge, and depression permeating the whole building.

Unfortunately, Kaito planned to join the protagonist group in this world, otherwise, he would already go wild and destroy the whole building by now.

After walking a bit, following some armed guard and researcher team, Kaito and Midori finally arrived at a large empty arena, surrounded by walls with bulletproof glass on top that was used for monitoring by scientists who looked down at them with a nasty look.

For the first time, he felt like a test subject, like a lab rat, and honestly, Kaito’s urge to destroy this place became stronger.

Since it’s a combat test, both of them are here naturally to test their strength, to determine their IP rank together. Since Kaito had introduced himself as a swordsman before, the IISO lent him a varanium sword and told him to do his best in this combat

...

Soon, they then heard a voice coming from the speakers that were attached to various corners of the arena, ”Mr. Kaito and his Initiator, Fuse Midori. We will test your strength as Initiator and Promoter and this will determine the IP rank of both of you!”

”We hope that you can try your best and be able to defeat the Gastrea creature that we placed as soon as possible!”

...

Hearing the announcement, Midori, who was not confident about the situation, became nervous, ”...Kaito-sama, is this okay? Can I go all out?”

”Don’t be nervous. Midori-chan.” Kaito, who is used to patting children’s heads, just pats her head to reassure her everything will be okay and then gives her a thumbs up, ”You can go all out!”

”Umm!”

...!!

After that, the IISO then released 4 dog-shaped level 1 Gastrea Creatures into the arena from the other side gate, which made them confined in the same area as Kaito and Midori.

”Rawwwr!!!” (x4)

...!!

4 Gastrea creatures with the appearance of dogs, 2 meters tall, black skin, 3 eyes, and hundreds of teeth like sharks stared greedily at Kaito and Midori. From their appearance alone, it was clear that before they were released here, all of these creatures were starved.

For ordinary humans, this would be a terrifying situation, but Kaito and Midori didn’t feel intimidated in the slightest.

Kaito is more curious about how IISO manages to tame these creatures, and based on his observation, these guys are also mildly 100% controlled by the people above. Kaito can tell somehow 3 of the dogs only have hostility toward Midori, while another one focuses his hatred on him.

This got him curious and wondering if there are some biotechnologies that IISO has mastered to control these creatures, but Kaito decided to find out later when he wanted to destroy this building later on.

...

”K-Kaito-sama...”

”You can take three of them... since their eyes are on you.” Kaito ordered calmly and then looked at one Gastrea creature that particularly staring at him and divided himself from other creatures, ”And I will handle the one on the right who seems wanted to gobble me down.”

”But...”

”You know how strong I am, right?” Kaito reassured her and asked back, ”If anything, I am concerned about you... you can take three of them, right?”

”I-I will do my best!”

”Then, go for it!”

After saying that, Fuse Midori took off her hat and dashed toward the 3 Gastrea creatures at a very high speed to confront them.

Following his partner’s action, Kaito also rushes with her (albeit at a normal speed to avoid suspicion) to another one on the right side. The Gastrea creatures also responded by running toward Kaito and Midori- with looks that wanted to tear them both apart.

*Dash* *Dash*

...!!

As a cat model, Fuse Midori has all the advantages of cats compared to humans, both in speed and reflexes. Now, with her infection cured by the system of the chat group and also having learned basic haki, Midori has become deadly enough to be considered a 3* peak strength evaluation by the system, which is a strength good enough to rival a small army!

The moment she arrived in front of the 3 dogs of her target, in a split second, Midori easily avoided all the attacks launched by multiple Gastrea creatures and delivered a counterattack using her superior cat reflexes alone.

*BAMM*

*BAMM*

*BAMM*

In just a few seconds, she easily avoided their jaws by jumping above one of the dog heads, stomping it, kicking another head to the side using her legs, and then punching another dog’s head with an uppercut that easily sent it into the air.

This performance stunned every armed guard, researcher, and scientist who watched from above, but Midori didn’t stop there yet, as she was ready to finish off the Gastrea creature with a more impressive move.

...!!

Since she doesn’t want to waste a long time and wants to help Kaito, Midori decides to finish this test quickly and also wants to answer Kaito’s expectations of her.

Aside from speed and reflexes, Midori naturally has another cat’s advantage and their main weapon, which is an ability to use claw.

Without further ado, while all the dogs were stunned by Midori’s previous attack, Midori then used her claws to finish them off- ripping off their guts to the head at a speed that normal human eyes were unable to catch up!

*Slash*

*Slash*

*Slash*

...!!

In just a few seconds, the three Gastrea gastrea dogs are cut into pieces and scattered around because of Midori’s brutal attack. This surprised everyone, including Kaito himself, because Kaito himself did not expect Midori’s claws to be stronger than the original. After all, it could be seen that she could cut their bones easily.

...

”Impressive!” (Judge A)

”She looks much stronger than any cursed children we have tested so far. Easily one of the best cursed children I have ever seen” (Scientist A)

”Check her blood sample later, we need to find out what makes her so strong!” (Scientist B)

...

Satisfied with Midori’s performance, Kaito thinks now it’s his time to show off.

During Midori’s performance, he has been avoiding attack from one dog gastrea creature for a while, but now his partner is done, Kaito now also wants to finish the unsightly creature in front of him.

Deciding to end it, Kaito, who had been dodging the dog’s bites and claws for a while, chose to stand still. Seeing this opportunity, the dog immediately opened its mouth from the front to devour Kaito.

”Rawwwr!”

”Shut up, you stink!”

*Dash*

...!!

In a single motion, Kaito stepped aside quickly to avoid the dog attack, unsheathed the varanium sword in his waist, cut the head cleanly, and put the sword down to sheath it again.

*Slash*

...!!

”Wow!” (Scientist A)

”How he did it?! That strength and speed is too powerful!” (Scientist B)

”This guy must be part of that new human!” (Judge A)

...

Seeing Kaito’s action, the judges and scientists were shocked by his performance- because Kaito’s performance was too clean and too fast since everything happened in less than a second!

The creature didn’t even realize his head had been cut off until blood poured out of his neck a second later.

According to them, Kaito’s action is more impressive than Midori’s performance as a cursed child, and those scientists now begin to wonder whether Kaito is part of the mechanized human soldier group or not.

In any case, with all enemies dead, their combat test is now officially done, and Kaito and Midori just need to wait for their designated IP rank together after this.

...

”We did it! Kaito-sama!”

Midori, who was very happy that she had done a very good job with Kaito, looked delighted and then immediately ran towards Kaito who had just finished cutting off the head of the Gastrea creature.

Without saying anything, Midori immediately went to hug him-- but instead of being delighted, Kaito was frustrated and conflicted by her action.

”Wait--”

*Hug*

...!!!

*Squeeze*

”What’s wrong, Kaito-sama? Did I do a good job?”

”Y-Yeah... but your clothes are quite dirty, so can you release your hug for now?” Kaito said while scratching his head and secretly blaming his bad luck.

”Aaaahhhh!!”

...!!

Thanks to Midori’s brutal action of cutting 3 Gastrea dogs, her clothes were now covered in the flesh and blood of Gastrea creatures- making them smelly and sticky.  The only reason why Kaito kills his target from its neck is to avoid the mess and boss it will cause if it slashes it from the guts, but unfortunately, in the end, Kaito still gets dirty by these creatures.

”I am sorry, I am sorry!’

”It’s okay...”

In the end, Because of the impressive strength and lethality shown by Midori and Kaito, IISO designated their IP rank as 1417.

Although the combat strength shown by Midori and Kaito should have been able to make them enter the 3 digits, IISO can’t do that since the upper limit of the new register IP rank is 4 digits. To enter the 3-digit IP, Kaito and Midori must have significant achievements or a record of killing many difficult Gastrea creatures by themselves.

Learning the situation, Kaito doesn’t mind it at all. Kaito doesn’t care about the IP rank that much and is already satisfied enough with the results they got (excluding the sticky hug earlier).

Although there are some scientist who have an idea to capture him and Midori to find out the secret of their strength, using the chat group, Kaito easily hypnotizes them to not do that and lets them go.

’As expected, using chat group points, everything becomes much easier.’ Kaito thought happily.

With the identity of Promoter and Initiator level obtained, Kaito now can implement his next plan, which is joining the Tendo Civil Security firm to meet the protagonist.
