The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

One week after the meeting and accepting Aika’s plan, today all members and their friends from the chat group gathered to work on rescuing the Est soul fragment-- gathering everyone in the meeting room.

This meeting naturally included Obito and Kaguya who act as teleporters, since not all chat group members have mastered space ability yet.

Of course, since this task involves all members of the chat group, all the worlds where the chat group originates got their time-frozen to ensure nothing goes wrong when they were gone from their respective world.

...

”I understand, Kaito-san.” Obito bowed respectfully after hearing Kaito’s instruction about his new mission, ”For all transportation matters, your friends can count on me!”

As someone who was put into the team in the 3rd world by Aika, Obito was naturally obliged to join and to understand what’s going on. Since joining Kaito’s peerage, Obito had repaired the damage on his face, and his attitude had returned to his cheerful childhood self.

Ever since Nohara Rin was resurrected by Kaito, Obito forgot his intention to change the Naruto world focused on his little lover, and dedicated himself to following Kaito’s wish as his benefactor. He never let go of Rin and was very obsessed with her... which made him easily the creepiest person among everyone in the meeting. Fortunately, Rin didn’t mind his attention, because she already learned how much Obito had sacrificed just to resurrect her from the dead.

...

”By the way, can I take Rin with me to that world, Kaito-san?”

”Obito!” Hearing his words, Rin who was standing in front of him became annoyed, ”You were called to help Kait0-san, not to have a picnic with me!”

”But Rin! I want you to accompany me! Isn’t that the perfect place for a honeymoon?”

*BAMM* *BAMM* *BAMM*

...!!

”Ugh...”

”What are you talking about!” Rin punched Obito in the stomach multiple times, making him fall on the floor, ”At least wait for me for 6 more years before you want to marry me!”

”Fist of love... 3-4 years...” Enduring the pain, Obito raised his hand and expressed his disagreement despite having difficult of breathing, ”16 years old... you’re already legal...”

”Shut up! You’re embarrassing us both!”

”Ack! Rin! Stop it!!”

...!!!

””...”” (Everyone)

Seeing Obito, who used to be a big villain in the Naruto world --now standing still while being beaten by a little girl, everyone couldn’t help but be confused while also glad that he has changed.

Obito’s attitude had changed drastically to being like a clown compared to his former career as a villain. Still, everyone admitted that the current Obito was better than the one who obsessed with destroying the world for the sake of it.

At least everyone could see Obito now genuinely happy, although the new concern was whether Obito would be able to hold himself from attacking Nohara Rin who was still underage.

Not that there’s any cop among chat group members, but Kaito genuinely hoped Obito wouldn’t try to cross the line!

...

”So this is the world where you live, Kaito-sama.”

While Obito was beaten, Kaguya who was now obedient followed Kaito and was curious about what was around her, ”...This world is very rich in energy both in the soil and on the land. Perfect place to plant a god tree---”

*Plack*

...!!

”Ah!”

””...”” (Everyone)

”Don’t do that!” Hearing Otsutsuki Kaguya’s dangerous idea, Kaito quickly hit Kaguya’s head and reminded her, ”This world is not the same as the Naruto world!”

”...Sorry, Kaito.” Kaguya immediately apologized, realizing her words were not good because everyone was now looking at her.

*Sigh*

”At least now you are willing to cooperate with the others.” Kaito sighed and praised, ”I heard from the other members that you helped them a lot in the Naruto world. You did a good job.”

”It’s okay, I also like everyone who wants a better future. They are not afraid of me and treat me as equal.”

...

Before this meeting, Kaito had heard from Aika that Kaguya was busy going around-- everywhere terrorizing people in the Naruto world to submit to the Kaitogakure village and join the alliance of ”peace”. Thanks to her efforts, all the countries inside that world now agreed to work together under the alliance commandment and order, and since this time the crime rate has dropped drastically as poverty and hunger have been solved by the fast-growing crops and jobs created by it.

Even ninjas have been forced to help with farming and manufacturing these days, which is much better than killing each other.

After the short meeting to explain the general idea about the task to the non-member chat group inside the team, everyone gathered in the field in front of the ’wooden mansion’, and stood in a line according to their respective teams with Kaito and Aika in front of them.

”Okay, before I accept this task, have Team 2 and Team 3 received some of the props I made?” Kaito asked

Crocodile who acted as the speaker/leader for team 2 nodded, ”The props for isolating space and creating instant houses have been received.”

Miya who was the speaker for team 3 also joined in, ”Same here. And I also brought 1000 Phoenix Tears for medicinal purposes. Also, emergency items to escape alongside some convenient props like generating water and energy efficiently from the sun.”

...

Hearing nothing went wrong in the preparation, Kaito released a breath of relief, satisfying with the situation. For the past week, Kaito had been working hard to make props that could be used in this task. Kaito even studied the concept of space in depth with Sakuya for more than 3 days this week barely got sleep on it, so that he could understand and be able to make items with space attributes more perfectly.

Well... Kaito could have learned all of those with points, but because he was saving up for something else, Kaito didn’t want to use points as much as he could.

...

”That means we’re all ready.” Aika said and looked at everyone, ”Before we start, there are 3 important things you always need to remember while doing this task!”

”Safety first.”

”Find and create a safe place to build a portal to complete the next level-up requirements.”

”And lastly, always tell in the chat group if something goes wrong or do you need help from everyone! Especially when you found out Est’s soul fragment location!”

...

After saying that, Aika then patted Kaito’s shoulder telling him to take over, ”Kaito, it’s time.”

Kaito nodded and then brought up the ’Est rescue mission’ task panel in front of everyone. ”After I press this button, the system will teleport everyone to the world according to plan, so you guys must be ready.”

”I don’t know where and when you were transferred based on the memory copies-- but if you need help, don’t hesitate to chat in the chat group!”

””YESS!””

Hearing confirmation from all members, Kaito then pressed the accept task button in front of everyone, and less than a few seconds later--- all members disappeared together from the base world-- went to their respective worlds, following arrangements from Aika placement for this task.

Unlike in the past when there was bright light when transferring out, the process now is quick and silent which is good. The only cons that happen because this upgrade makes the transferring process lose its novelty effect, which isn’t necessary at all in functionality.

*BLINK*

When Kaito and the others arrive in the Black Bullet world a few seconds later, they find themselves in some kind of wasteland. The surrounding area is littered with the rubble of collapsed buildings, telling an environmental story that there used to be live here, before getting destroyed by something.

”Well, the transfer was quick this time.” Kaito wryly smiled, ”There’s no bright light whatsoever during the transfer.”

”Isn’t that a good thing, Owner?” Erina commented calmly, ”Now, whenever we want to teleport back to the base world silently, no one can find it.”

”That’s true.” Kaito agreed with Erina and then looked around, which looks like inhabitable place to live in, ”Now, where we are?”

”I think... this location is outside of Tokyo of this world, the outer side of Tokyo... I recognize this place from memories.” Aika said while pointing into the distance, ”Look there, we can see a few giant ’Varanium’ monuments standing. This scenery is very familiar, like in the opening song of the memories.”

...!!

Since they had all just watched these memories copies, everyone also immediately recognized this place and believed her.

”It seems we were lucky enough to be transported to a place we know from our memories copies... and quite close to the location of the plot of this world.” Kaito smiled then turned around, as every member was behind him, ”...What do we do next?”

”What do you guys think we should do in this world... besides searching for Est’s soul fragment?”

”...”

Hearing Kaito’s question, all the members became silent, even Manaka and Aika were the same. Naturally, none of the chat group members have favorable opinion about this world, not even Manaka who doesn’t really care about good and evil (since Kaito clearly hate this world too).

...

In this world, Humanity lost the war against the viral parasite’ Gastrea’.

Most of the world is occupied by Gastrea creatures, and humans are driven to the brink of extinction. Out of despair and fear, humans only manage to survive in small areas and build a wall made of varanium to protect themselves.

The reason for this situation because in this world there exists a horrible parasitic virus, the Gastrea that is capable of infecting any organism-- and is especially effective in humans.

The infected organisms will mutate within a short period and mix their DNA with that of other animals, turning into terrifying and ferocious gastrea organisms.

And here is the thing--

When the mother ingests the Gastrea virus during pregnancy and the virus accumulates in the fetus, they will born as a ”cursed child”.

It has certain animal abilities, but when the virus erosion reaches 50%, it will turn into a monster.

In the war against the ”Gastrea”, humans rely on these children to survive, since their combat abilities are very strong and effective against this Parasite creature.

Despite what they did, instead of treating them as heroes, humans of this world treat these cursed children as disposable weapons and send them to death.

They also treat them as the target of their hate-- constantly blaming ignorant children who did nothing wrong at all.

Instead of Gastrea creatures, it’s clear that the real monsters in this world are those humans.

...

After a silent moment for a while, Aika finally opened her mouth, expressing her opinion with hesitation in her voice, ”...Kaito, there are many things we can do but generally, we have 2 types of exact opposite choices to choose from... which is good and evil way.”

”We can destroy the Gastrea and cooperate with humans in this world.”  Aika stared at Kaito’s eyes and added, ”...Or we can conquer the world, forcing humans to work under us and then destroy Gastrea afterward.”

”Do you want to work together with ’humans’ from this world, Kaito?” Manaka also asked him a question seriously and guessed, ”I am sure that 99% of this Gastrea pandemic was caused by the humans of this world in the first place.”

”...You guess correctly.” It was implied that the Gastrea virus was created, so Kaito admitted Manaka was correct about that, ”Working with natives of the world, that’s normally something we should do because we are an ’outsider’ in this world.”

”But... remember how discriminating people on cursed girl existence, I don’t want to work with them, nor want to force them to follow our order.”

Just remember the episode where Tokyo people bombed this place and killed all of a dozen innocent cursed girls, enough to make Kaito want to blow up the whole city in front of him.

He also remembers the blind girl who blinded herself because her parent didn’t like her red eyes.. since she was born as a cursed child.

There’s also a case where the cursed girl gets caught stealing something from a supermarket and gets abused because she has no choice as no one wants to help her.

...There are countless cases where cursed girls get attacked and abused all the time in this world.

...

”However... as much I hate it, there are still good people in this world. I don’t want to destroy a world just because some part of it was bad.”

Kaito, as a person with high morals, still doesn’t want to murder without reason-- at least he doesn’t want to do injustice to innocent people. Although Kaito admits, that this world is disgusting and the only good thing that comes from it is the existence of the cursed girls-- he is still willing to give this world a closer look, hopes that everything that happened in the plot wasn’t as bad as in reality.

...

”So, you are still confused about what you want to do for now.”

”...Yeah.” Kaito said, didn’t even try to deny it, and proposed his idea with confidence, ”I think... for now, let’s leave the native alone and we just need to focus on saving cursed children and our job to find Est’s soul fragment.”

”Only cursed children have no place in this world, since the majority of people, at least what we have seen in the memory getting treated unfairly and the general treatment is just using them as a tool.”

”As for natives of this world... for now I can’t decide what to do, since in my opinion, if we clean the Gastrea creature from this planet, there’s no need for humans in this world to move into our world.”

”That’s my idea of what to do for now, what do you guys think?”

Hearing Kaito’s ideas, everyone in Team 1 nodded in agreement and supported his idea. Unlike the world of Naruto or Shokugeki no Souma, the humans in this world are just normal humans with no specialties except for slightly advanced technology and Varanium metal-- so the priority of bringing them to the base world is very low (except for the cursed children).

Just as Kaito was thinking about ordering team 1 their first action, suddenly they all looked to their west-- because all of them detected the arrival of a guest with their haki.

”Grraawwwr!”

...!!!

”...We already have a guest?” Kaito sighed and complained, ”I thought this area was safe.”

From a distance, Kaito could see a 3-meter-tall insect-like creature coming towards them at a fast pace, but no one in Kaito’s group felt afraid-- only curious.

This was because none of the members on this team felt intimidated by the creature, even Erina and Kayaba already had 3* strength when they came here, enough to handle a creature like this alone- which seems to be level 1 or 2 Gastrea.

But even if there’s level 5 Gastrea coming, with Kaito, Manaka, and Sakuya siege together, it can’t be a threat.

...

”Master, let me take care of this.” Sakuya offered to help, ”As a maid, it’s our job to protect the master and his friend.”

”Flexing aren’t you? Go for it, Sakuya.” Kaito nodded, letting her do whatever she wanted.

”You are our friend too, Sakuya.” Erina corrected her and then warned, ”Also be careful, this monster could infect people.”

”Your worry is not needed, Erina. Sakuya isn’t human, she is a devil.” Aika commented with a teasing mood, ”And she is not an ordinary devil. She is 6* strength devil.”

”Indeed.”

After saying that, Sakuya suddenly disappeared from their sight...

*Whoosh*

...!!!

And one second later, Sakuya reappeared in front of them again, while gracefully bowing in front of everyone.

At the same time, the Gastrea creature that was still 10 meters away from them, then immediately turned into minced meat, cut into hundreds of pieces because of Sakuya in Time Stop. The creature doesn’t even have time to scream and doesn’t realize what happened to him which shows how overkill Sakuya ability is.

...

”Task completed~”

”As expected, it’s not a problem for Sakuya-san.” (Aika)

”Impressive.” (Manaka)

”It seems my concern unnecessary.” (Erina)

”Good job, Sakuya.” Kaito praised while tapping her shoulder, ”Since we are transferred in here. I decide that our first course of action is to build our base here.”

”Here? In the place close to Tokyo?” Erina asked with a confused tone, ”Isn’t it a bit too dangerous?”

”No, it’s a great place to start our base. It’s close to place of the center of the plot and we can also observe and help the protagonist if needed.” Aika commented and added, ”Besides, we can take a  look at Tokyo city later to find out whether Est’s soul fragment is there or not.”

”There’s also the fact that we can start protecting cursed girls in this area from their tragic future!” Kaito clenched his fist in anger, ”I won’t let that happen, and we all know they don’t deserve to die because of getting bombed!”

...!!!

Hearing Kaito’s reason, the members of Team 1 who also didn’t like what happened in the plot memory agreed with Kaito and quickly moved to clean up the area and build a base that would later become a place to build the portal and a place to live for the cursed children they would save in this world.

Fortunately, this wasn’t the first time they had done this, and with Sakuya (original) in the team, the construction of the base in this place was quickly completed and ready to use just in a single evening.
