The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

*DING* (x10)

...???

The next day, Kaito woke up at dawn because he heard the ping mention sound from the chat group in a row in his mind. He opened his eyes, felt his right hand heavy, and found Manaka, the petite blonde beauty still asleep hugging his arm tightly.

Judging from the condition of their clothes, it seemed that Manaka kept her promise not to be ’naughty’ while sleeping, and each other only treated each other like pillows.

More importantly, hearing the ping that still wouldn’t stop, Kaito could only sigh and smile wryly. Considering he had shared 3 memories about the ’not so pleasant’ world, surely the chat group members who had watched it would want to talk to him about it.

=====

[Owner]: ”...You guys give me trouble in the morning.”

[God Tongue]: ”Owner, you are here!”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Sorry, Kaito-kun.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”More importantly, we need to talk about those memories!”

[Owner]: ”So, have you guys watched them all?”

[Caped Baldy]: ”Yeah... Black Bullet is one of the worst memories I have ever watched.”

[God Tongue]: ”Yes! Especially on Black Bullet, what’s wrong with that world!? Although other worlds aren’t that much better!”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Even I can feel my blood pressure skyrocketing when I was watching it last night. Why are they so cruel to children who protected them from monsters in the first place?”

[Nico Robin]: ”Those little girls did nothing wrong... they are just purely the victim.”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirate]: ”The protagonist is extremely unlikeable. It’s the first time I discover a protagonist I don’t like!”

[Baroque Work Leader]: ”Indecisive, unclear justice, and hypocrite. He has the power but refuses to use it to obey the unfair law.”

[SAO Administrator]: ”Not to mention the society in that world, extremely corrupted and weird.”

[Owner]: ”I have warned you guys before... these 3 worlds are much different than the world we have explored before. But I admit Black Bullet is the most disgusting among them.”

=====

...

Seeing the chat group members complaining about Black Bullet, Kaito understood their sentiments. When he first watched the series, Kaito was also very emotional about the story-- and many of the morals in the society in that world didn’t make sense... Especially the treatment that ’cursed children’ received.

Those girls are one of the main means for humans in that world to resist the Gastrea creature outside the city, but the funny and sad thing is the protected ones discriminate against the protectors who are fighting outside, and give the protectors such a disgusting name as ’cursed children’.

Kaito doesn’t know what the future holds for the world since the author of the story hasn’t updated for years when he traveled here, but Kaito is 100% certain that there is no bright future for the cursed children on that world, just based on the prejudice normal people hold on them.

=====

[Mage of Exodus]: ”You are right... these 3 worlds... are cursed. My world is also in an apocalyptic situation, yet human morality isn’t as bad as these 3 worlds.”

[God Tongue]: ”The third world isn’t as bad as the other two though... but I feel the copies you have shared with us are too short!”

[Owner]: ”Well, that’s the only memory I watched before I traveled through time. The manga is still ongoing back then, but the plot of the world itself is quite clear.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Speaking of that world, I wonder if that world is a world of hentai instead of doomsday! Why so many heroines with big breasts?!”

[Owner]: ”Uh... It’s a type of Echi anime. The same world where I belong, you know?”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”Ugh... don’t remind me about that Kaito-san.”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”Master, you are aware of it, yet you forget to filter Nanoha to see the High School of Dead memory. They are technically still underage.”

[Owner]: ”Crap.”

=====

Seeing Sakuya’s warning, Kaito immediately became extremely anxious because he had completely forgotten about it-- they were the two youngest members here. However, when Kaito thinks about it, it’s not really his fault. Since they probably also participating in this task, they would need to watch the memories soon or later.

=====

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Anyway, the third world is the easiest so I don’t think we need to be serious about the world without superpowers or supernatural elements. The second world, Akame ga Kill, on the other hand, is very troublesome and you can just send anybody to go there..”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”While it’s not doomsday, the Teigu ability on that world is very interesting. That Murasame sword I saw a few days ago in the store was from that world.”

[SAO Administrator]: ”I also found some of the Teigu worth 50.000 points or above in store. I want to analyze the technology of creating Teigu in that world.”

[God Tongue]: ”That’s true! If I have Teigu, I would have more means to protect myself.”

[Ohara Survivor]: ”Worth to collect. Especially that space teigu, using it, we could get another spatial user in the chat group.”

[Owner]: ”I admit what you said is right, Robin. Maybe in that world, besides collecting Est’s soul fragment, we should collect Teigu as the secondary objective.”

=====

Kaito strongly agrees with the members’ idea to collect Teigu in Akame Ga Kill world, because these items can be used by members who need power just like the props he has. In addition, Nico Robin’s suggestion is also correct, because with the increasing size of the base world, it will be increasingly difficult for members to transport.

Maybe Kaito can try to make props that allow members to transport later, but that requires Kaito to understand how it works and the concept of space. The only reason he didn’t do that before was because of lack of energy-- now his issue has been solved, and Kaito is now prepared to come up with more complex props creation like anything to do with the concept of space and time.

=====

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Let’s do a meeting again today. Is that okay for you, Kaito?”

[Owner]: ”Yeah. I am also eager to rescue Est as soon as possible. Since you proposed the idea, you should have a plan already, right?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Yes. I have written a plan to divide each chat group member to explore 3 different worlds effectively at the same time.”

[Owner]: ”That’s fast...”

[God Tongue]: ”Then, I will have breakfast prepared before the meeting starts.”

[God Tongue Secretary]: ”I will also help you, Erina-sama.”

[Owner]: ”Good. Let’s do the meeting during breakfast.”

=====

Hearing Aika already made a plan for the meeting, Kaito was genuinely impressed by her action, as expected of the brain of the chat group. In any case, these three aren’t particularly difficult for everyone, especially the third world, where members just need to eradicate zombies and the world is just a normal world without any supernatural element.

The first world is also not a big problem, the Gastrea creatures are more difficult to kill, but anyone with combat capability above 4* could easily handle them-- except level 5 of course.

The second world is a little bit of a problem, but anyone with 6* strength could easily solo Esdeath and Bude. Fortunately, they have plenty of them, including Kaito himself... so they just need to make sure to send someone strong in that world to take care of those 2 people.

=====

[Caped Baldy]: ”Sounds great.”

[Root Princess]: ”Impressive. It seems I underestimated your capability, Fuwa Aika.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”After all, someone threatening my position in the chat group.”

[Root Princess]: ”That’s good. It would be boring if you were lost against me so easily.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”They are starting on it again... these girls.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Fight, Fight, Fight!”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”Stop that Misaka-san, although I am also interested in watching how they fight.”

=====

...

Seeing Manaka who was suddenly active in the chat group, Kaito then looked at his hands, only to see Manaka also stare at him with a naughty expression and holding back her laugh.

”Pfft... Good morning, Master.”

”You... Good morning too.” Kaito wanted to scold her for provoking a fight in the morning, but considering how she behaved last night, he immediately changed his mind, ”Let’s clean ourselves and go to the meeting room.”

”Want to clean together?”

”No way!”

After a small conversation between Kaito and Manaka, the two of them then cleaned themselves up and then headed to the meeting room together, while having breakfast with the dishes that Erina and Hisato had prepared.

...

>>>>>

When Kaito and Manaka entered the meeting room, several members were already present inside-- and some of them were not in a good mood even though they were about to enjoy Erina and Hisato’s breakfast.

Seeing Kaito also in the meeting room, Ravel then approached him with a worried expression while saying, ”Kaito-san, Good morning. After what happened yesterday, are you okay?”

”I am okay, Ravel-san. Thank you for caring for me.” Kaito answered while smiling, feeling touched by the genuine care that Ravel showed to him here.

”T-That’s good.”

Ravel naturally feels happy that Kaito is okay, while also blushing and shy after receiving praise from Kaito. Ravel naturally also has a deep ’crush’ on Kaito after receiving so much help from him, even allowing her to be a chat group member. She realizes the benefit of becoming a chat group member is priceless-- since the system provides the members inside with unlimited potential to grow.

”It seems you are his favorite girl not without reason.” Manaka, who has been watching the conversation from the side couldn’t help but comment.

”Manaka-san...”

”Thank you for taking care Kaito. Without a doubt, you are the one who made the entire chat group possible.” Manaka then bows her head slightly at her.

”I-I am not that great.”

Seeing Manaka suddenly bowing to her, Ravel felt flustered and touched, because she didn’t expect Manaka who looked arrogant in the chat group to look kind and not as bad as she initially thought.

On the other hand, Kaito, who saw this spectacle,e just remained silent and smiled, once again acknowledging how terrifying this root princess was. Kaito admits, in terms of reading people’s mind and getting them on her side, Manaka is much better than Aika to the points it’s kind of terrifying in his opinion.

It is not surprising though, unlike Aika, who in the original was only kind to people close to her, Manaka was very good at acting in front of people, and also manipulating the people around her so that she could achieve her goals.

Knowing this, Kaito was honestly confused about whether Manaka did get close to other members sincerely or for her own benefit, but at least Kaito knew that Manaka would not do something that would harm the chat group.

...

Shortly after he sat down in his seat, two people from the moon world, Ilya and Saber, also entered the room and immediately greeted Kaito. From their expression, they seem to have had a great sleep last night and have more understanding about what happened in the chat group.

”Kaito, good morning.” (Saber)

”Good morning, big brother.” (Ilya)

Looking at Saber and Ilya greet him together, Kaito greets them back and curiously asks, ”Good morning you two. Did Sakuya inform you two about the meeting?”

Unlike the chat group members, both of them didn’t receive the memory copies from him. Although there’s a physical memory copy feature, everyone forgets about it last night, so naturally, both Saber, Berserker, Jack, and Ilya are currently in the dark.

...

”Yeah... Big Brother. There are too many meetings in this place!” Ilya complained, ”Although I understand you want to save Est-chan as soon as possible.”

”I am sorry. But please bear with it.” Kaito apologized, ”Where’s Berserker and Jack?”

”Berserker is guarding the meeting room door.” Ilya said while shrugging, ”He doesn’t need food and doesn’t understand what’s going on in the meeting anyway, so he might as well wait outside.”

”How about Jack?”

”She refused to come in!” Ilya complained again that Saber also looked troubled, ”She is addicted to video games and now she falls asleep in the morning!”

”...”

”Well, like Berserker, she doesn’t care about this meeting anyway.” Hearing what she said, Kaito just shrugged and then pointed to their seat, ”Just wait on your seat until everyone is here.”

”Yes.” Saber nodded excitedly, seeming eager as she had heard how delicious Erina’s dishes were, ”Let’s go, Ilya.”

”Bye, Big Brother!”

”Yeah...”

Saber and Ilya then walked away, leaving Kaito alone again in his seat. However, that moment only lasted a few seconds, as Aika and the other girls arrived in the meeting room too soon after.

And somehow-- Aika and the other girls looked at Kaito with displeasure, leaving Kaito confused as to what was happening.

...

”Kaito, good morning.”

”Good morning, Aika.”

”How did you sleep last night? It must be comfortable to sleep with a petite beauty like Manaka Saijyou.”

Hearing such a shocking statement from Aika, Kaito unconsciously looks at Manaka-- and she gives him a chuckle in his direction. Now, adding their unkind look, Kaito convinced that girl must have done something last night!

But how? Kaito swore he even used points from the chat group to make sure no other member could discover his room location last night. That’s also the reason why Sakuya doesn’t wake them up since she couldn’t find their room either.

...

”Master, it is a bit too much for you to do that on her first day. No wonder I can’t find your room this morning.” (Sakuya)

”Uh... sorry.”

”Indeed. He also looks very comfortable to sleep with her, Kaito-kun~.” (Miya)

”How did you guys know?”

”How?” Hearing Kaito’s question, Aika then scoffed and complained, ”That’s because just now, that girl shared a picture with you embracing her in your arms while sleeping last night.”

...?!?!

Hearing Aika’s answer, Kaito almost had a heart attack and glared at Manaka with anger. No wonder they could know, Manaka herself told them about this-- but why?!

Doing this would only worsen the relationship between him and the girls, until he remembered a fact about Manaka’s attitude in the chat group--

’Ah never mind, Manaka clearly said she didn’t care about that’ Kaito complained in his mind.

...

”So... what’s your excuse?” Aika asked curiously.

”...You know her already. She is plotting against me last night.”

...

Feeling cornered and victimized, Kaito just raised his hand in surrender, and decided to be honest and share the memory of what happened last night with them-- which cleared the misunderstanding to some extent.

Even so, Kaito was still blamed by them as it was partly still his fault, because according to the girls, Kaito himself was also tempted by Manaka’s seduction. Kaito could only act honest to them, because as a normal man, sleeping alone or sleeping while embracing a woman on his arm, he would choose the latter without doubt.
