The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

Since Kaito had now come to their world, Crocodile immediately asked Kaito to help prepare the armory and weaponry that their defense army could wear in the war with the Empire. Hearing his request, Kaito certainly didn’t mind doing that (he just needed to make clones and provide some energy), but he also requested to observe the Teigu that Night Raid had firsthand to find some inspiration, or perhaps, even improve upon it.

Crocodile, of course, agreed to Kaito’s request, and he also hoped that Kaito could even provide improvisation to their Teigu... and there’s no reason for Kaito to reject Crocodile’s request either.  Thus, Kaito, as an honored guest, was currently surrounded by Night Raid members who were ”playing” with their Teigu.

The first Teigu that Kaito chose to comprehend was Murasame, because Kaito liked the idea of a one-shot lethal weapon, and remembered it was the first weapon that the chat group store presented back in the day.

On top of that, Kaito himself is a skilled swordsman and prefers to use a sword in a fight rather than any other close combat weapon.

”How is it, Captain Kaito? Are you okay?” Akame asked Kaito anxiously.

”Don’t worry. I told you, I only tested the weapon with a clone.” Kaito reassured her with a relaxed tone while giving Murasame back to Akame’s hand, ”I also understand how it works now with the curse, and I am gonna make a copycat of it.:

”Clone, teleportation, and creation...” Najenda muttered in amazement, ”No wonder even Crocodile seems to respect you a lot.”

”Even without my ability, I’m still their leader after all.” Kaito just shrugged, ”Alright, I’m ready to make the first replica of Teigu.”

...

After observing and testing how Murasame poison works on his clone (curse it to death), Kaito finally managed to understand how this Teigu works... which injected a ’ready’ death curse to the victim. Compared to making concept weapons like the Golden Watch or Gungnir, the way Murasame works is much easier to understand, and it didn’t take long for Kaito to replicate this Teigu and put it into the Gate of Babylon.

With his current infinite energy capacity, Kaito really can create anything he wants as long as he understands how it works. Even without the system’s help whatsoever, although for a more complex creation, Kaito still needs a system to help.

...

”Please step back a little, because making a complex object for the first time requires a lot of energy and also high concentration,” Kaito warned, and all the Night Raid members who were there distanced themselves as ordered.

Normally, the creation procedure won’t be dangerous, but since Kaito planned to attach multiple attributes to the creation and it’s the first attempt to do so, the energy required must be massive, and it wouldn’t be good for any normal people to get close to it.

...

Kaito then stretched out both of his hands and a bright light as bright as sunlight immediately filled the room.

*SHINE*

...!!!

Instantly, all the Night Raid members became alerted because their instincts told them what Kaito was doing was very dangerous (a massive amount of energy condensed), but fortunately, it only happened in 2 seconds before Kaito finished it.

”Yup, seems fine.” Kaito nodded in satisfaction with his creation, ”It looks sturdy, and because I already understand how it works, the next creation of this weapon, I don’t need to waste a lot of energy.”

?!?!

”Is that... the new Murasame?” Looking at the familiar black katana in Kaito’s hand, Akame asked with clear shock in her eyes.

”Yep.” Kaito nodded and added, ”But I added something else.”

”Something else?”

”Auto call, which calls the weapon back to its sheath in case the weapon got thrown away, auto cleaning, which automatically cleans any dust, blood, or dirt attached to it, and friendly user, the user of this weapon won’t get affected by its poison, or any low poison in that matter as the sword with absorb it from the user,” Kaito explained with confidence.

”Here, try it.” Kaito threw the Murasame in his hand to Akame, intending to give her the weapon, ”Concentrate and think about what you want to do in your mind.”

Hearing Kaito’s order, Akame immediately tried to throw it away and recite to call it back in her mind. Immediately, the katana flew back to Akame’s hand by itself!

*Swoosh*

...!!

Seeing Akame’s performance, all Night Raid members were shocked, not expecting it. Not only did Kaito make a new Teigu that has no restriction on the user, but Kaito was also able to make a Teigu that was much better than the original. Especially the last feature, which makes the original Murasame bad compared to Kaito’s weapon, because absorbing Murasame’s poison means Akame could go all out using it without costing her anything, and she’s also not afraid of dying young using it.

The only cons that Kaito thinks of are that the curse isn’t effective against people with high resistance to magic, but in the Akame Ga Kill world, where there’s no magic whatsoever? Kaito Murasame is even deadlier than the original!

”Alright, it’s working perfectly. Now, it’s yours. Just treat it as a secondary Teigu.

???

”Are you sure? I already have original Murasame.”

”Sure. If anything, you should stop using the original. At some point in the future, I probably could improve it by using more potent poison or adding more features.”

Couldn’t believe Kaito just gave her a better weapon that easily, Akame couldn’t help but ask, ”How can I pay you back?”

”It’s okay. I already got a lot just by creating this weapon.” Kaito shook his head casually, ”Anyway, just make sure you guys will do your best to assist Crocodile’s needs.”

”Next, Teigu, please. I want to see the Pumpkin.”

...!!

Seeing what happened to Akame’s Teigu, the other Night Raid members were also eager to let Kaito see their Teigu so they could do what he said. In the end, Kaito spent the entire noon recreating Teigu for Night Raid users-- but he also gained a lot of knowledge from doing so.

Just looking at the Murasame earlier, he has already learned how to create a potent poisonous weapon that would kill anyone in a single hit, adding more to his arsenal. Now Kaito is looking forward to observing more Teigu, to enrich his collection and knowledge, and creating more deadly and useful props.

After being busy observing, analyzing, and re-creating all the Teigu in Night Raid, Kaito comes up with the idea to visit the Imperial Capital to clean up some mess, accompanied by Akame.  Since Night Raid has joined Team 2 and Tatsumi and his childhood friend didn’t go to the Imperial Capital, it’s clear that all the villains that were supposed to be their targets are still alive, and are still causing many casualties in the Imperial Capital.

For example, in Kaito’s opinion, the noble little girl and her family, who become Night Raid’s target at the beginning of the original story, must be eliminated immediately before causing more casualties among Imperial capital citizens.

Hearing Kaito’s purpose, none of the chat group or Night Raid members were against what he wanted to do... and Kaito also used this opportunity to explore and see if there was an Est soul fragment in the Imperial Capital, considering that place was an important place in the plot of this world. Fortunately,  this time he had already asked Aika to take care of Midori in Black Bullet, so Kaito could spend his time without being concerned that Midori was going to be mad at him again.

...

”So this is the Imperial Capital. The capital looks luxurious, but unfortunately, this place is full of corruption.” Kaito said while looking at the Imperial Capital from one of the tallest buildings.

Even though it was night, there was a lot of light coming from the city buildings and street lamps illuminating the streets... which was enough to illuminate some of the pretty scenery of the Imperial Capital. Besides, as a devil with haki, Kaito certainly had no problem seeing clearly in a dark environment.

”Amazing. We were 3 days away from the Capital, but you can cut the distance instantly.” Akame, who stood beside him, expressed her amazement, ”...Kaito-san, does your ability to teleport have a limit?”

”Uh... No?” Kaito answered, ”As long as it is still in the same world, I have seen it before, or I have the coordinates, then I can teleport into any location.”

”Wow.”

Hearing Kaito answer, Akame is very surprised once again by him. On top of creating a weapon better than Teigu, Kaito could also teleport to anywhere he wanted to. At this point, with Kaito’s presence, Akame or Night Raid now fully believe that the chat group members definitely could defeat the Empire if they wanted to.

”Anyway, we stick to the plan. Akame, you kill the guard captain of the city, Ogre, while I will kill Zanku the beheader. I will also send my clone to kill that corrupted noble family.”

Rather than killing a strong man without any Teigu whatsoever, Kaito is naturally more interested in fighting a Teigu user since he can observe it and learn something from it.

”Zanku is understandable, and that noble family has been investigated by us before.” Akame nodded, and understood Kaito’s assignment as he was interested in all kinds of Teigu, but then Akame frowned with confusion, ”But Ogre... we don’t have any concrete proof of his wrongdoing...”

”Oh, he has it. Accepting bribes from an oil merchant, framing an innocent, and a lot worse stuff. Just believe me.” Kaito tapped his chest repeatedly with confidence, ”I will be fully responsible for this order.”

In the original plot, the Night Raid doesn’t know about Ogre’s wrongdoing until the fiancée of the executed man, who was framed by Captain Ogre, finds Leone and wants revenge after selling her body. Now, without Night Raid in the Imperial Capital, the girl probably had no way to vent the injustice against her fiancé, and Kaito felt bad when he realized it.

”Anyway, take this tool.”

”What is this?” Akame took a silver compass from Kaito curiously, knowing there was no useless item made by him.

”It’s a compass I made, that will show you the direction of what you are looking for within 1 km around you.” Kaito explained calmly, ”Good stuff to find lost item and shit inside your home.”

...?!

”Ah... This would help find the Ogre where whereabouts.” Hearing the purpose of the tool, Akame commented and nodded, ”Thank you.”

”You’re welcome.”

After instructing Akame to meet again at this location in 2 hours, Kaito and Akame eventually parted ways towards their respective targets in the vast Imperial Capital.

>>>>>

After looking around in the Capital City, Kaito managed to find Zanku’s whereabouts in just 20 minutes on a slum street where no one seemed to live nearby... Thanks to his [silver compass], it doesn’t take long to find his objective in the capital, even though Imperial Capital is a very large capital city with a radius of 200.000 km2.

Because there are no other people around in the area at the moment, it is a perfect situation to execute his task. Hence, Kaito decides to finish the business quickly so he can explore the rest of Imperial Capital tonight.

*Dash*

”Good evening, Zanku the Beheader.”

...!!!

Looking at Kaito, who suddenly jumped in front of him without he couldn’t even noticing, Zanku, a tall, muscular man with blue eyes and slicked blond hair, looked at him with fear, ”You... Who are you?!”

”You don’t need to know my name since you are going to be dead anyway.”

”What... Why can’t my Teigu read you?”

Zanku is a user of Teigu Spectator, a headpiece that allows him to do various mental attacks like hear the thoughts of others and predict others’ moves-- but unfortunately, Kaito is pretty much immune to any mental attack thanks to his Imagine Breaker in his right hand.

”Oh... well, I have expected it,” Kaito commented casually, shaking his head as he easily guessed the reason behind it. ”I should have expected mental attack won’t do any shit with Imagine Breaker on my right hand.”

”Don’t underestimate me! Answer my question, who are you, boy?! Why can’t I read you at all?!

”I refuse.”

”You!! Then, I will force you to answer!”

”Heh.”

Looking at Kaito, who keeps disrespecting him and doesn’t even see him as a threat, Zanku, who has already gone mad right now, becomes furious.

”Too enthusiastic, aren’t you?”

”Shut up!”

...!!!

Getting enraged by Kaito, Zanku immediately jumped towards him quickly, ready to behead him as he did to his other victims using his handblade. However, Kaito was not Tatsumi or Akame in the original plot, as he had a hard time against him. Kaito was a devil with superior physical strength who could destroy walls easily without much effort, detect attacks from various directions with haki, and move at the speed of sound at a minimum.

Needless to say, with his current strength, Kaito had confidence now that he had the capital to face Sirzech if he decided to go back to High School DxD.

The movements that Zanku thought were ”fast” looked very slow in his eyes, and Kaito easily responded to them with ease. Kaito doesn’t even feel like activating his haki to block it, since there’s no reason to do so, and Kaito also thinks he shouldn’t rely on Haki too much.

*Clank*

...!!

”Stupid.”

Without any trouble, Kaito blocked his handblade using a singular knife that he made on the spot using creation, and then kicked him away to end his resistance.

”Damn-- Uoogh!”

...!!!

*DUAR*

”Yeah... good thing there’s no people around.”

Kaito scratched his head with annoyance as he slowly approached Zanku, who was dying after being blasted to the nearby wall by Kaito’s kick. Although the mental attack seems useless to him, there’s still research value in the weapon with a mental attack.

Right now, Kaito doesn’t have any weapon with the mental attack, and that’s the primary reason why he chose to kill Zanku and let Akame kill Ogre.

”Anyway, do you have any last words? Mr. Beheader, Serial Killer?”

Zanku, who has become insane thanks to his Teigu (forcing him to read people’s minds all the time), realizes there’s no hope for him to win against Kaito and begs, ”Kill me!”

”As you wish.”

*Slash*

...!!

With a single swift blow using his knife, Kaito easily beheaded Zanku like he did to all of his victims. However, instead of showing resentment, Zanku seems to be relieved and at peace, and before falling to slumber forever, he said to Kaito, ”Thank... you...”

”...You’re welcome.”

Kaito answered calmly while picking up Teigu from his head. Although this guy is not a good person either, it’s undeniable that the reason why he has become insane is because his Teigu picks up the thoughts of people around him all the time. Thus, Kaito’s act of killing him is like freeing Zanku from endless torture.

Anyway, the harvest is quite good today, and Kaito is naturally excited to create more tools based on what he can learn from Teigu Spectator.

...

”Alright, time to look out for Est’s soul fragment in this Imperial Capital. But what should I do about this guy’s corpse?”

Kaito looked at Zanku’s headless corpse and the destroyed wall in confusion, but before he was able to do anything, someone came out, disturbing his thoughts.

”Interesting! I’m just strolling in the city, and didn’t expect to find such an interesting fight!”

Hearing an unexpected voice of a woman, Kaito quickly looked above and found a woman with long, blue light hair and blue eyes staring down at him from the top of the nearest building. She wears a stylish white general apparel with long sleeves and seems to be excitedly looking at him.

...!!!

”Damn it...”

Naturally, as the main antagonist of this world, Kaito recognized Esdeath’s appearance at first glance and realize how fucked his situation was. Thanks to the fact that he doesn’t activate his haki in the fight, Kaito is unable to detect there’s someone is already watching him all this time, and that someone happens to be the strongest person in this world.

What an odd... but considering his bad luck, Kaito admits he should expect something like this would happen.
