The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

While Rika and the protagonist group of this world are hunting zombies outside the city (because Tokonasu city is already cleared of zombies), Yuu also goes out walking towards the most complete supermarket in the city, which is quite far from their base at Fujimi Academy.

”...A very good day. But it’s too quiet...” Yuu muttered with a frown on her face

At first, Yuu just wanted to visit the nearest supermarket, but one of the refugees suggested that he go to the city center, where there were many types of fruits and complete food, making her feel curious.

Although the location was quite far, Yuu is okay as she has been walking for hundreds of years.

She also enjoyed seeing the clean city view and the results of Team 3’s hard work in ’cleaning’ the city from zombies... as this is the only fully-functional city in the whole country right now that is free from zombies whatsoever.

Fairly enough, Yuu could ask Obito through Miya to teleport him directly to the place... but again, Yuu feels that she does not need to be protected because no threat makes him feel dangerous in the city (at most zombies or thugs), which she can handle herself easily.

”...hmm.”

Unfortunately, Yuu’s idea of wanting to walk alone without being escorted makes him a target for their current opposition, namely the government and his army, who want to force them to submit.

...

”The woman with the codename ’Zombie Controller’ is still alone, separated from her team by a distance of 1 km from her base.” (???)

”According to satellite, the ”Mask Man” followed the ”Blacksmith” and a bunch of kids of her same age on the western side of the city.” (???)

”The stage is clear, the condition is perfect to act, and no zombie or citizen is walking around within 2 km.” (???)

”Unlike other superpowered group members, ”Zombie Controller” ability can only control zombies and the weakest among them, making her perfect as a hostage target as she can’t fight back. Capture her!” (???)

”Affirmative, Senator!” (???)

...

Despite being named as the leader of Team 3, Yuu has never shown any combat capability and only controls zombies with orders that are not dangerous/lethal like the others. This gives the government the idea that Yuu is just a pony and a weak person among other Team 3 members, and being a leader is just a way to put a facade to scare people away.

Naturally, with Yuu’s improved abilities and being a master of Haki, even surpassing Kaito, it’s impossible for her not to notice their presence.

She knows that upon leaving the academy, about 100-150 meters away, she is always being followed by a group of armed soldiers. She can even hear what they are talking about on the walkie-talkie-- thanks to her improved listening ability after becoming a devil.

’Pffft... What a fool.’

Hearing the armed soldiers think she has no combat ability whatsoever and are deemed to be the weakest members, Yuu, who is usually stoic and expressionless, finds this funny, because they should have known there were rumors about her and her position as the leader.

However, with her long life experience in a hundred years of war, she also realizes this might be a chance to take care of the enemy’s force once for all-- so Yuu decides to open the chat group immediately to inform everyone about her idea.

...

=====

[Necromancer]: ”...I am being targeted and going to get kidnapped by a group of armed soldiers, what do you want think I should do?”

[Owner]: ”???”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”???”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”???”

[Ohara Survivor]: ”???”

[God Tongue]: ”???”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”...Is this some kind of joke I can’t understand?”

...

Seeing the chat that Yuu expressed in the group chat, all the online members were surprised, because of all the members of Team 3, Yuu was the one who was most at risk of being attacked.

...

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Yuu-san, you just came out of the building for like 15 minutes. Can you tell us who dared to attack you?”

[Necromancer]: ”Our only enemy in this world. They are from the JSDF and are receiving the order from the government above to capture me. Should I pretend to get captured by them to find out the enemy base’s whereabouts and use the chance to destroy them all together?”

Looking at what Yuu suggested, the chat group became quiet for a while before they gave her a response.

...

[God Tongue]: ”Isn’t that quite dangerous... Forget what I said. I always forget how strong Yuu is.”

[Owner]: ”I have no opinion. Do what you want.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”I admit that’s a brilliant idea. In that way, you can clean opposition in one sweep.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”It’s not a bad idea, as long as you are sure that you will be okay.”

[Necromancer]: ”Their modern weapon won’t be able to harm me, and no hot weapon could kill me, as I have survived from atomic bomb before. Also, as the leader of the team, I want to solve our biggest trouble in this world once and for all.”

[Owner]: ”But how are you going to solve them? I don’t think all of them will be in the same location, even if you manage to get to their base.”

[Necromancer]: ”Using my improved ability.”

[Owner]: ”Improved ability?”

...

Yuu then explains to the chat group members that her abilities have now increased with the help of fusion with sound magic, making her reach much wider and can even penetrate the internet and external communication networks. This means that if Yuu says [Sleep] to the person on the other end of the phone, her powers will affect them without fail, even if her voice is filtered!

Hearing her explanation, Kaito and others were terrified of her because her ability became more outrageous and more omnipotent. According to Yuu, even something like [Voice Recording] with her ’voiced ability’ can produce the same effect as her actual ability as long as Yuu provides enough mana on it, albeit half as strong as an actual effect.

...

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Sometimes I forget everyone is also improving their strength together in the chat group. Yuu may be the strongest below Saitama-sensei right now.”

[Owner]: ”Yeah... I admit, sometimes I forget about that, too. However, Yuu’s ideas might work... but are you sure you want to do this, Yuu?”

[Necromancer]: ”I don’t like it, but I have faced a similar situation before. They definitely won’t stop trying to capture or harass anyone until they find the answer.”

...

Something like getting captured and tortured, Yuu has the most experience among everyone in the chat group. As a necromancer who is famous in the underworld, there’s a period where Yuu experiences a witch hunt from people who are curious about her powers, like the famous blood ninja in her world.

The original Yuu might not want to kill and use her powers to harm others, but the current her has formed a strong bond with the chat group members and is willing to do anything to protect them.

...

[Necromancer]: ”Since they dare to attack me, there’s a chance they would attack my friend too.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Yeah... They will keep doing it, and we really should do something about them.”

[Elementary Grade Magical Girl]: ”...”

[Owner]: ”Then, do what you want. As long as your safety is guaranteed, I don’t have much opinion about what everyone wants to do.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”True. But just in case, open the broadcast feature so everyone can see what happened to you.”

[Necromancer]: ”I promise.”

=====

After getting confirmation to do it from Kaito and Aika in the chat group (as the leader), Yuu quickly opened the broadcast feature, allowing every member in the chat group to watch her situation from the 1st and 3rd perspectives.

After that, Yuu then closed the chat group and walked towards the supermarket as usual, while pretending not to notice the ’army’ that was following him.

When Yuu walked more than 5 minutes from closing the chat group and was currently in a quiet residential area, suddenly 3 mini tranquilizer bullets came from 3 different directions behind her legs and her left hand, shot by a sniper 100 to 200 meters away, accurately.

*SWOSH* *SWOSH* *SWOSH*

...!!!

With Yuu’s speed, she could easily avoid it and even ran straight to the sniper’s position in a matter of seconds... but she needed to pretend to be caught by them. When the tranquilizer bullets touch her (she didn’t get affected), Yuu immediately pretended to panic while also slowly falling to the ground... acting like the thing is working on her.

”What... happened...? Did... I get... Shoot?”

”Secure her!”

Seeing Yuu’s ’panic’ convincing reaction, who looked weak on the ground and seemed barely able to open her eyes, the 8 soldiers who had been watching her all this time immediately came out of their hiding. Each of them was also armed with weapons equipped with tranquilizer guns that could even paralyze a bear easily.

”Check her body functions, is she unconscious?”

”Yes.”

”...”

Knowing the target biting her bait, Yuu then quickly weakened all of her body functions, making her look legit unconscious in the eyes of the soldiers who checked her body condition. For Yuu, who had lived for hundreds of years and could not die no matter what she did, something like this was very easy for her to do to change her state from being in a coma and conscious.

”Report... from her body reaction, it’s clear that she is unconscious!”

”Quick, tie her and bring her away!”

””Yes!””

When one of the soldiers had confirmed Yuu’s state of being unconscious, they all immediately moved quickly to carry his body and put it into the army tank car, which was parked not far away.  After Yuu was successfully secured, these soldiers felt relieved because this meant that their mission had been successful. After all, they were expected to have a hard fight that could cost their lives... but didn’t expect it would be so easy.

Seeing all of this happening on broadcast, the chat group members who were watching admitted, Yuu is professional at acting like this, and even they would be fooled by her if they didn’t watch this through the broadcast.

>>>>>

After 4 hours of getting kidnapped and brought to somewhere far from Tokonasu city, Yuu, who was continuing unconscious (pretending) and caught by the military, finally arrived at the location where he seemed to be held, namely a large building in the middle of the forest that looked like a technology research building that was tightly guarded by heavy military.

Inside the building where Yuu would be held, there are many specimens of zombies and mutated animals being held in a room or a metal box. Some members speculate that this place had something to do with the location where the zombie virus was made, or at least learn how it managed to spread.

After being taken for a while into the deepest part of the building, Yuu was finally placed in a surgical room that seemed the most secretive, where the door was made of 10-inch-thick steel and there were many CCTV cameras in every corner of the room. After that, Yuu was put into a surgery bed, surrounded by scientists who looked excited to be ready to dissect her... which was also accompanied by a group of soldiers guarding in case she suddenly woke up.

...

One of the scientists, a bald old man with a white beard who acted as the leader, was very excited as he pinched Yuu’s skin as he grinned. ”Marvelous! We finally got one of them!”

”Just by looking at her, you can see that this girl’s body is perfect without any history of injuries at all! I can’t wait to dissect this girl and find out the secret!” (Scientist A)

”There’s also her ability to control zombies! If we find the source of that, we can rule this world!” (Scientist B)

”This girl is also quite weird! Despite looking young, you can tell her muscle density is several times bigger than normal human!” (Scientist C)

”Quick, prepare to strip her naked, get the surgical tools and get all the tranquilizer to keep her unconscious! We need to start the experiment right away!” (Scientist Leader)

””YES!!”” (All scientists)

...

Hearing the words from the scientists who looked impatient to dissect her, Kaito and the others watching from the broadcast of the chat group felt very angry and disgusted.

=====

...

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”Yuu-san, I think that’s enough of  ’acting’.”

[Owner]: ”Yuu, don’t let her touch you! It’s my order as your king!”

[Necromancer]: ”But... isn’t this bit too early.”

[God Tongue]: ”Indeed! Wake up! You are here not to become their subject!”

[Elementary Grade Magical Girl]: ”Sister, woke up!”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Yes, that’s a bit too much for you to act. From their expression, it’s clear that all of the people in this room deserve to die!”

[Owner]: ”@Necromancer, If you aren’t planning to wake up, I will travel to your world to kill them all!”

[Necromancer]: ”Got it.”

=====

Looking at the chat group, which was full of angry people, Yuu had no choice but to follow their order. As a hundred-year-old person, no shame being naked or experimenting is non-existent for her since she’s going to be okay, but she certainly doesn’t want her friend to hate her.

Without wasting any time, while the scientists were busy preparing their equipment, Yuu immediately regained consciousness and activated her body’s metabolism to normal. Almost immediately, her action caused the device that monitored her body’s condition to give a warning to everyone in the room.

*RRRRRRRNNNGGG!!*

...!!

”What happened?”

”She is about to wake up!”

”Shut her down!”

...!!!

Unfortunately, before the scientist could take action and the soldiers could fire their guns at her, Yuu had already activated her ability first and, without hesitation, said clearly to everyone in the room with her eye still closed---

[”DIE.”]

*Wooosh*

...!!!!!

Although Yuu’s ability has been improved and strengthened, the energy consumption that comes with it also quite massive-- because this time, not only did it affect the surroundings, Yuu’s power affected various government agencies throughout all Japan and in fact, around the world through some spies.

In a matter of seconds, everyone in the room-- and people heard what Yuu said through the surveillance monitor-- fell, dying instantly without even being able to scream. Since Yuu wanted to kill everyone in the building indiscriminately, none of the surrounding area was spared-- even some plants or insects that happened to be in the building were also affected by her omnipotent reality-bending ability.

Not only there, all people who listened to the conversation in the secret bunker or hidden office throughout the world also experienced the same thing... causing panic and chaos everywhere just because Yuu muttered the single deadly word.

*Huft* *Huft*

”...”

With such big consumption and widespread ability taking effect throughout the planet, naturally, her mental and magical power are taking the toll from it. Unfortunately, Yuu herself doesn’t lack any magic power, although her mental power is certainly taking a hit-- and while doing it Yuu found something interesting... as some people in a certain location manage to withstand her ability longer than others.

Seeing Yuu, who looked like she was about to faint on the broadcast, the members were worried and offered to help, but Yuu shook her head, reassuring them that she felt okay... and in fact, seemed to be excited. Yuu, despite her pale face and shortness of breath, quickly opened the group chat and informed the other members of her exciting find.

=====

[Owner]: ”@Necromancer, Yuu, are you okay?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”We can go there if you need help.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”I can also inform Obito now to go to your location to save you. Thanks for your hard work, Yuu-san.”

[Necromancer]: ”Everyone...  listen to my action, I found that some people who were watching me from the direction of Tokyo managed to hold back the effects of my ability for a moment using strange dark energy...”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”Oh? Managing to hold longer against your ability is quite something, Yuu-san.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Strange dark energy? But there should be no supernatural element in that world, right?”

[Neromancer]: ”No... the thing is that I feel the energy these people used before dying is kind of identical to the curse that resides in Kaito’s existence.”

...!!!???!!!

[Owner]: ”Est soul fragment?!”

=====

Seeing what Yuu said, all the chat group members were shocked and then became very excited, especially for Kaito, who, without hesitation, wanted to visit the High School of the Dead world right away, as he was already convinced it must be Est’s soul fragment. After all, Est’s soul was broken because Kaito used her to absorb his bad luck curse excessively; so clearly, the presence of Kaito’s curse within the government ranks indicated the existence of Est’s soul fragment was hidden in the hands of the government!
