The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

While Kaito is having fun by joining the protagonist group, Team 2 is busy building a safe and secure city in the Akame Ga Kill world. Thanks to the materials from Kaito and Sakuya Clone that are scattered in every area of the world, Team 2 can build a complete city in 3 days in the village location where the main character of this world comes from.

This city is named Paradise by Crocodile, because he wants to make a good impression on people around the world with the name of the city.

Now, the only problem Team 2 has is spreading the reputation and security of the city. For promotion, Uta, Kaguya, and Saitama are doing a great job at it in a lot of villages in the Empire, while the city’s security is left to Misaka and others. Thanks to Uta’s wonderful singing ability and her campaign that promised there would be safety and no starvation in Paradise City, their city reputation quickly spread around the world-- so they have been receiving an influx of refugees from merchants and a lot of people coming in for a while.

Although that’s also inviting a lot of spies from other factions too, from the Empire, the Revolutionary army, even the cult Path of Peace. Also, because Crocodile plans to build a safe city that can attract the interest of the surrounding population, of course, the base camp area where they staying now is not isolated in space and is visible.

The items that Kaito provides are only used to secure the houses where the chat group members live, because, after all, this world is still quite dangerous.

...

”This is the 3rd time today in the morning! Yesterday, there were 14 spies from other factions! I didn’t expect our city to attract attention this quickly!” Misaka complained.

”That’s true. But it can’t be helped.” Hisako, who also guarding with her, nodded in agreement, ”We just need to do our best, Misaka-san.”

Because of her specialist ability,  at detecting, in addition to being a chef in team 2, Hisako also played a role in detecting enemies and intruders in the city. Compared to the Naruto world, Hisako has developed her detection ability much higher and more accurate level.

Not only presence, Hisako can now detect people by the amount of their ’karma’ that they have accumulated in the past and the future, so no spies can break in with the disguise of Hisako’s eyes. Hisako would know if someone had a bad intention coming in as she saw the thread of ’fate’, so no intruder or spy could bypass her detection ability.

...

”Well, what can I do. Our city is rumored to be a safe and peaceful city. Uta is doing a good job at promoting it.”

Nico Robin, who is currently also guarding alongside Hisako and Misaka, also commented, ”And more importantly, the development of our city really feels very fast... and everyone who can see it is certainly curious about what is happening here.”

”Sakuya-san always does a superb job when it comes to building things,” Hisako replied, ”The fact that she is capable of creating a city in a day makes her the most efficient worker among everyone in the group.”

”That’s what repairing a huge mansion alone for a hundred years does to you.” Misaka joking, which made everyone laugh together.

””Pffft.””

...

Despite Misaka’s complaints earlier, she’s quite pleased with what Team 2 has done here. Ever since building Kaitogakure Village in Naruto, Misaka has always liked the idea of creating a place where everyone in it would never have concerns about all the bad things in their world.

Compared to the misery of the Imperial Capital she had seen in her memories, the Paradise city they had built together was much safer and more peaceful. All the residents here were smiling and happy, and no one was starving here.

Misaka admitted that even though Sakuya had built this city, the biggest contributor probably still belonged to Kaito, who had created the natural resources to build the city, magical food like fast-growing corn, and a lot of other things that make their place attractive to live in.

...

”Speaking of which, we still haven’t found Est’s soul fragment?” Hisako suddenly asked, ”I remember Kaito asked us in the chat group earlier this morning.”

”Unfortunately.” Nico Robin, who has the job to observe Tatsumi and others in the city, shook her head, ”At least nothing can be seen around him yet.”

Thanks to Team 2’s intervention in this world, the protagonist, Tatsumi, and his childhood friend have no reason to visit the Imperial Capital anymore to save the village where they live. After all, the village they came from now has become the most prosperous city in the Empire within a week, thanks to Team 2’s intervention.

Because of that, instead of traveling to Imperial Capital, now Tatsumi, Ieyasu, and Sayu want to help Team 2 maintain the security of this city, and are currently being trained by Saber along with other young men and women from the village who share the same intentions. They were genuinely grateful for what Team 2 did to their ’village’, and most of them swore to contribute to the safety of the city.

...

”Is it not around the protagonist?” Misaka also asked curiously. Besides protecting the city from spies and bandits, Misaka has also been looking around for the fragment by following Saber hunting the Dangerous Beast around, but there’s no result from her either.

”So far, nope.” Nico Robin shrugged, ”Honestly, it literally can be anywhere... and this world is quite big.”

”Maybe it’s on Akame?” Hisako proposed, ”This world has multiple protagonists after all. While Tatsumi is the main protagonist, you can say the same of the Night Raid.”

”Who knows?” Nico Robin shrugged, ”Crocodile said that if we can’t find the fragment even after the portal finished, we may try to visit the Imperial Capital.”

”Ah, that’s a good idea.” Misaka nodded in agreement, eager to explore, ”I also wanted to fight with General Budo. Since he is also a Thunder user like me, maybe I could learn some tricks from him!”

”I also wanted to test some new abilities I gained using Fusion Feature from the system!”

”Misaka-san, please don’t start a fight with natives just because they look strong.” Hisaka complained, looking at Misaka with deadpan eyes, ”We are here not to cause chaos, but to find Est’s soul fragment!”

”Then, I will do that after we find all soul fragments in this world!”

””...””

Hearing Misaka’s declaration, Nico Robin and Hisako let her do as she pleased. The chat group members already knew that, despite Kaito being obsessed with becoming strong, Misaka was the one who challenged the others the most because she enjoyed fighting.

It also can’t be helped that Misaka is technically still a young teenager, and only a little older than Nanoha-- so she still likes to do childish things like challenging people to fight.

At least Misaka still understands that mission priorities are more important, otherwise, Hisako might have reported Misaka’s behavior to Kaito to prevent future problems.

Fortunately for them, they won’t have to search for the protagonist group, Night Raid later, because their city has already caught the attention of the Revolutionary Army, who will eventually send them.

On the other side of the world, at the Revolutionary Army headquarters, the higher-ups are discussing the existence of Paradise City, which has caught their attention. The reason is that the new city that emerged within a week is known to be peaceful, safe, and prosperous, and reportedly it is true, because no refugees have fled the city after visiting the city ever.

This is further strengthened by the words of merchants who come in and out of the said place, and call the city a dream city to live in, and they also expressed their opinion to stay there permanently, despite their still fresh and new reputation.

Because of that, in the past week, the Revolutionary Army has sent various types of spies to go there, but to no avail, and all of them have failed, either getting captured or being kicked away. The city’s defenses are very tight and impossible to enter because they are guarded by Teigu users who can detect spies and thunder Teigu users similar to General Budo. (In their opinion, Misaka is a Teigu user)

They also tried to attack their city’s promoter, a singer named Uta, but that naturally also failed because she is guarded by a bald man who is said to have a very powerful Teigu capable of destroying buildings with one punch. (Saitama)

Facing this desperate situation, the Revolutionary Army leaders feared the emergence of new competitors and enemies in their goal of taking over the Empire. They finally decided to try to mobilize the most competent group working under them, the assassin group, Night Raid-- and call their Leader, Najenda to visit the headquarters.

...

”Najenda, Night Raid has done a great job in the Imperial Capital, but I have an important new mission for you.”

”It will require you to go away from Imperial Capital, but we hope your group will still take this mission seriously.”

Hearing such a weird order from one of the revolutionary army leaders, Najenda, a woman with short, silver hair and an eyepatch on her right eye, raised her eyebrow in confusion, ”New important mission?”

”Recently, there has been a city called Paradise appearing in one of the villages in the southern border area of the Empire.” Once the leader rubbed his moustache, looked at her seriously, ”Have you heard it?”

”A new city has recently emerged on the site of what was once a poor village.” Najenda nodded seriously and expressed her skepticism, ” A city that promised a peaceful, safe, and prosperous place to live in which sounds too good to be true.”

”Yeah, we also think the same as you do.” The man nodded and explained, ”We tried sending some spies there to find information about the truth about the city. But so far none have succeeded.”

”No one has succeeded?” Najenda asked, genuinely surprised by his answer, ”Is it heavily secured?”

”Unfortunately, the village is heavily guarded... and multiple Teigu users have been guarding the gate of the city.” The man shook his head with regret as he handed the detail to Najenda on paper, ”The good news is, the people in the empire also seem to be unable to get information about that city either, so we and the empire are both in the dark.”

”And that’s your group’s new mission. Find a way to infiltrate the city, clarify the rumors about what is happening inside the city, and send it back to us.”

...!!!

Looking at the task in her hand, which contains the information of the location of the city, the Teigu of the ”guard” and some merchant that affiliate with their force, Najenda immediately raised a question, ”I am sorry but... what if the rumors are true? What if they build a true prosperous city?”

”If the rumors are true, then you should try to meet the leader of the group who created the city and invite them to join the revolutionary army.”

”...And if they refuse?”

”Force them to join. Threaten them to comply.” One of the other revolutionary army leaders answered with a gloomy face, ”Until we can take over the Empire, we cannot have more enemies within the Empire, especially if this faction is also competing with us.”

???

”If they wanted to create a prosperous Empire, they should have no hesitation in joining us.”

”They should also share their method for how they manage to build the city in a week, that would be a great help for the future Empire.”

”We also need to know how they manage to replenish their food supply, since we have learn there’s no starvation in there. That would help us immensely.”

”...”

Hearing the reason from leaders, which sounds like a robber, Najenda felt very doubtful and confused since she is naturally against a conflict with other forces who have the same goal as them. However, as a general, she understands the importance of following orders and decides to accept the mission for now until their group finds out more information about the Paradise city.

”...We will do our best to complete this mission as soon as possible.”

Seeing Najenda, who seemed convinced by her reason, all of those greedy revolutionary leaders couldn’t help but be happy. Although a former general, Najenda was indeed not very bright when it came to politics and was easily manipulated by them.

After all, an ex-general should understand that if they colluded with a foreign nation to carry out a coup, this was the same as inviting an enemy under cover. Although there’s genuinely people who hope to make the Empire better, unfortunately most of Revolutionary army is a scumbag.

Most of the revolutionary army leaders don’t care about making the Empire better, and aim to be the primary ruling class of the Empire, replacing Minister Ernest and the little Emperor.
